Esminės migrantų sielovados ypatybės ir jų įgyvendinimo būdai lietuvių išeivių katalikų sielovadoje 1945–1984 metais

The article investigates and presents the origins of migrants pastoral care, as well as pastoral care in the context of Lithuanian Catholic migrants, the essential sources of Catholic Church documents, including those publications issued by the Catholic emigrants in 1945–1984, also obtained results from the materials investigated by historians and theologians which helped the differentiation and use of the most effective ways for their implementation in pastoral care for Lithuanian Catholic emigrants. It must be noted that this kind of issue has never been tackled yet.

Edith Stein’s approach to Martin Heidegger’s existential philosophy 伊迪丝·斯坦对马丁·海德格尔存在主义哲学的解读

This research reconstructs Edith Stein’s approach to Martin Heidegger’s ontological philosophy in respect of the thesis “Being and Time” (Sein und Zeit). According to the latest surveys, it is attempted to answer the being-in-the-world (Dasein) problem issues addressed in Stein’s works “Finite and Eternal Being” (Endliches und ewiges Sein), “The Structure of the Human Person” (Der Aufbau der menschlichen Person), “Potency and Act” (Potenz und Akt), and articles “Phenomenological Outlook” (Die weltanschauliche Bedeutung der Phanomenologie), “Martin Heidegger’s Existential Philosophy” (Martin Heideggers Existential philosophie). The concepts of the vocation, finite and eternal being are highlighted based on Stein’s concept of authentic being.

The article discusses the final stage of life of God’s servant Archbishop Mecislovas Reinys. The dynamics of virtues is highlighted. It aims to present the Servant of God’s heroic virtues, especially manifested during the arrest, interrogation and detention years. Archbishop Mecislovas Reinys always trusted in God’s providence, even during the worst years of detention and interrogation he tried not to judge any person, but on the contrary – to develop human dignity. According to his contemporaries, the Philosophy course, delivered by him to Vladimir prison inmates, is an evidence of this.

A change in the concept of analogy ““ from the analysis of understanding to a psychological interpretation of decision “类比”概念从对理解的分析转变为对决策的心理解释

Analogy is commonly held to be a type of reasoning where the resemblance between any two objects based on one or more attributes is taken to imply that these objects are also similar in some other attributes. Analogy understood this way is then generally seen as a type of inductive reasoning. This view of analogy as a method of acquiring knowledge was popularized by John Stuart Mill. The problem of acquiring new knowledge is usually considered to be the problem of psychology, leaving the knowledge corroboration problem to the sphere of philosophy. From this point of view, analogy does not play any role in philosophical investigations. Thomas Aquinas reinterprets Aristotle’s view of analogy and explains it as a relationship between the names based on proportion which enables us to understand the use of these names in theoretical contexts and allows the new ones to be created. The question of how to use a word and how that word functions is one of the topics of the philosophy of language. In our opinion, the contexts of understanding words and their functioning in language are of no less importance than the contexts of acquiring or verifying knowledge.

The Geography of the Spread of Roman Catholics in the Territory of Tomsk Province at the Second Half of the 19th Century According to Tomsk Parish Registers 根据托木斯克教区登记,19世纪下半叶托木斯克省境内罗马天主教徒传播的地理

The results of the research of Tomsk parish registers from 1866 to 1893 are presented in this article with the help of statistical tables and a map. Based on geographical data of these registers the article indicates those names of places (from volosts to towns) where Roman Catholics (among them quite a number of Lithuanians) lived during the above mentioned time period. The research results allow stating that Catholics lived in all six vast districts of Tomsk province (Barnaul, Biysk, Kayinsk, Kuznetsk, Mariinsk, Tomsk), its 34 volosts and eight towns. Data from the Church register, synthesized by the author, as well as state statistics, prove that the majority of Catholics during those years lived in Kayinsk, Tomsk and Mariinsk districts. There were very few of them in three southern districts. Most of Catholics lived in Tomsk district (in 1869 – about 2460 people), especially in Tomsk town and volosts: Ishtimskaya, Semiluzhnaya, Bogorodskaya; in Kayinsk district (about 2380 people), especially in volosts: Ust’-Tart, Kyshtovskaya, Voznesenskaya; in Mariinsk district (about 1530 people), especially in volosts: Pochitanskaya, Zyryanskaya, Dmitriyevskaya. The data of the registers can be used as an independent historic source which testifies about the demography, priests, Catholic families and their settlements of a certain period of time. It would be useful to continue the work and create similar maps and tables for every period of time and every Siberian region by comparing these data, Church and state statistics, registers of confessions. The result of such work could be a historical atlas-guide, one of the most important tools for a historian.

The article based on material of leaders’ narrations of non-denominational churches, collected through in-depth qualitative interview method and discourse analysis of the local media publications.

Relationships among religious people and atheists in parish of St. Anthony of Padua from 1963 to 1990 are analyzed in this article. Research was made on micro level using memories of believers and atheists. This method helps to better understand everyday relationships among believers and atheists. Person’s character and job position influenced upon his attitude towards religion and atheism. Peoples behavior was different: some hidden their attitude towards religion and atheism, some demonstrated it publicly and some fought for their rights to practice religion or against it.

Research was made on micro level using memories of believers and atheists. This method helps to better understand everyday relationships among believers and atheists. Person’s character and job position influenced upon his attitude towards religion and atheism. Purgatory and “Toll Houses”: the Discussion on an Interim Post-mortem Condition in Orthodox Theology 炼狱与“收费站”:论正统神学中一种过渡性的死后状态

Besides the eschatological doctrine on the states of Heaven and Hell, Catholic Church has also developed a teaching about Purgatory. The closest teaching in Orthodox Church to Purgatory is a doctrine about areal of “toll houses”. But there is no consensus whether this teaching is a doctrine of the Church, private theological opinion or a heresy. This article analyses a teaching about “toll-houses” in the context of debates inside the Orthodox Church and compares it to Gnostic heavenly journeys and Catholic doctrine on Purgatory.
