The variable refrigerant volume (VRV) air conditioning systems have been employed in small and medium sized buildings recently for its advantages of comfort, energy conservation and easy maintenance. However, the optimal control of VRV air conditioning systems is very difficult due to cross-coupling system parameters and time-variant operating conditions. In this paper, the indoor temperatures are taken as the controlled variables to regulate the openings of individual electronic expansion valve (EEV) and the suction pressure is taken to modulate the speed of inverter-driven compressor, a robust and self-adaptive two-stage Fuzzy Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller is proposed. The controllability is tested in a triple evaporator VRV air conditioning system, experimental results show that the proposed two-stage fuzzy PID controller could achieve desired control accuracy and guarantee good robustness for room temperature control.

A model free predictive control is persented. This method does not need modeling in the predictive control. The eigenvector of generally model is identified and predicted by multi-layer recursive method. The model free predictive control law has advantage as well as model free control.

With the competition between enterprises, human resource becomes a key to that enterprises acquire the competition advantages and employee training grows into the strategic requirement of enterprise development with playing important roles gradually. In China, training evaluation is so lag to practice that reduces the training effects. Consequently, it's very important to choose a practical training evaluation tool. This article first summarizes the training evaluation model that has been found by domestic and foreign scholars and analyzes each model's advantages and disadvantages. Then the concept of GRA model was used so as to obtain the objective weight of each index and avoid subjective effect, the fuzzy assessment model for training effect evaluation was established by applying the theory of fuzzy mathematics. This method not only improves the scientificalness and objectivity on training effect evaluation by quantitative computation, which provides theoretical basis for making a clearer training aim and further improvement on training quality.

Situation assessment becomes more and more popular accompanies the development of information fusion. Event is very important for situation assessment as a basic situation element. But the existing event detection technology can't satisfy the need of situation assessment. A framework of comprehending events from text for situation assessment is proposed. In this framework, events are not only extracted but also associated in order to improve the reliability and exaction; events are organized as clusters to make them clearer; the relations among events are analyzed to understand the underlying truth. The technologies that needed to support the framework are proposed to show the bases of this framework.

The catadioptric omnidirectional sensor, called Omni-Vision, involving capture and automatic interpretation of images, depicts full horizontal panorama 360 degrees view of the surroundings. The field of view band can be easily transformed to a panoramic image and a converntional perspective image. However, it has an intrinsical disadvantage that the angular resolution Omni-Vision is lower than that of conventional video camera. In this paper, a super-resolution method for the Omni-Vision is proposed to reconstruct high resolution panoramic transformed images, in which consecutive images obtained by rotating motion of Omni-Vision are fused using the POCS (project on convex sets) algorithm. Experiment results are also provided to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

Power system state estimation is aimed at providing modern electric control centers with accurate and reliable real-time databases. In the past few years, many papers have been published on state estimation applied to electric power systems. Different algorithms -static, tracking and dynamic -have been proposed aside with a variety of applications: detection and identification of bad data, network configuration, etc.

Fault-tolerant H∞ control against actuator failures and/or sensor failures for a class of descriptor linear systems via dynamical compensators is investigated. Based on H∞ theory in descriptor linear systems, sufficient conditions for the existence of dynamical compensators with parameters are derived. The dynamical compensator guarantees that the resulting closed-loop descriptor system is admissible and maintains a certain H∞ norm performance in the normal condition as well as in the event of actuator failures or/and sensor failures. Moreover, the closed-loop system performance can be optimized by choosing free parameters in designed dynamical compensators. A numerical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Electric load simulator (ELS) is an important motion control system which can reproduce on-ground tests of aerodynamic loads on the control surfaces of aircraft. The mathematical models of electric load motion system are derived and verified through the experiments. Additional torque caused by the motor's movement can be suppressed effectively. Combining data of simulation and test-bed, a motion controller adopted multi-channel feedforward is designed based on invariance theory to improve the performance of the control system, which can meet load accuracy and load bandwidth requirements.

Threshold signature is an important signature with additional property; it can achieve effective supervision on signature generating and signature verifying. This paper analyzed the basic principles of threshold cryptosystem and its superiority for application in threshold signature schemes. Considering the security threats and system flaws of present signature schemes, we present a threshold signature scheme based on elliptic curves cryptosystem. The scheme achieves threshold generating and verifying of signature by utilizing secret sharing in signature processing, and it also achieves threshold management of identity tracing by identity blinding and probabilistic encryption algorithms. As security proof for the scheme, we present a typical subliminal channel scheme for the threshold signature. The subliminal message can only be generated and recovered by no less than t valid members; so the subliminal channel renders effective supervision on subliminal message and identity secrecy. Further analyses and comparison also justify the brevity, security and high efficiency of the scheme.

This paper presents a novel approach to image classification based on the fusion of global and regional features, which are helpful to describe image semantics to classification, in which vague sets for positive and negative evidences is applied to analyze and optimize the decisions obtained by multi-classifiers. Through integrating two sides of multiple classification decisions, the classification is optimized and synthesized, thus the processing and results will be both powerful and stable. Experimental results show that the performance of the classification is greatly improved.
