With the increase in the use of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc. news spread rapidly among millions of users within a very short span of time. The spread of fake news has far-reaching consequences like the creation of biased opinions to swaying election outcomes for the benefit of certain candidates. In this paper, aim is to perform binary classification of various news articles available online with the help of concepts pertaining to Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. We aim to provide the user with the ability to classify the news as fake or real. Fake news detection is an emerging research area which is ahead big interest. It faces however some challenges due to the limited resources such as datasets and processing and analysing techniques

This article addresses the use of Information Communications Technology to regulate inventory cost. A large portion of an organisation funding kept in stores is the inventory. Inventory is acompany's raw materials, finished and unfinished products which have not yet been sold. The profit made by any organisation is directly proportional to inventory cost incurred. A lot of timber organisations have poor system ineffective control and management of inventory. The researcher find inventory to be an area for savings and cost reduction. There have similar research in the timber area but within different geographical areas like Takoradi which also focuses on the employment of Information Communications Technology to assist the industry’s growth. This paper seeks to have a thorough study in the Inventory Control System in Ghana Specialized Timber Products Limited, providing necessary measures for cost reduction in Inventory and additionally to suggest proposals to management of the firm to assist, control and manage inventory in relation to cost. The researcher employed questionnaires, personal interviews, documenting materials, informal discussion, general observation and reference from library records on related literature as the methodology for this article. From the study the researcher found out that there were not enough stores location and lack of identification system exist within the industry. Additionally the absence of in-service training for staff of the firm also contributed to the lack of control and management of inventory. The implication of the above findings is that if this situation is not remedied, production will go down. The company’s loss is as result of inadequate storage facility and bad identification system .

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is the procedure through which a machine analyses scanned printed or handwritten documents. OCR is a new study topic for Indian scripts that has the potential to replace the habit of manually completing data entries for diverse documents from printed paper records. The primary benefit of this digital textual material is that it can be altered, something that is not feasible with digitized files

Information system is very important because it improves the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative duties in an organization. Therefore, there is the need to evaluate and suggest ways in which these systems can be used in order to improve performance in organizations. Information is also of value because it can transform and capture the various ways in which documents are stored and retrieved. Relating performance to the use of information system is particularly difficult because often times, it is impossible to obtain val id measure of users’ performance. The average respondent is relatively well educated. Twenty (20) respondents representing 67% of total respondents holds at least a first degree. The remaining Ten (10) respondents (representing 33% of respondents) were Commercial Noc/tech school certificate holders. As a result of the information obtained from self-administered questionnaires the study revealed that the organization involved with E -Business and E-Commerce information system. It was however encouraging knowing that the information system has improved the service at delivery by given staff the opportunity to provide good service delivery to customers and through effective survey. Due to in adequate maintenance and lack of training and education the use of information has negative effect on administrative work and organizations so need to be given proper attention.

The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness and efficiency of the introduction of Digital Commercial Banking in Ghana In this study data collection was done through structured questionnaires and interview. These questionnaires were designed by taking into accounts the objectives and the hypothesis of the study. As a result, a sample size of 20 respondents was chosen for the collection of data. These respondents comprises of bank officials in which 75% were retained. In this study, data collections were analyzed through the use of tables and graphs to present frequency and interpretation thereof From the findings, the e-banking system has bridged the gap between management and employees in such a way that consultations on decisions and services from management to employees and customers are done through the use of computers and modems respectively. Hence, it has rapidly reduced the work load and series of mistakes of the staff. Negatively, it has led to the termination of employees due to the illiteracy of the system. Apparently, the long queues of customers during working hours has reduced, hence it has ceased unnecessary complains.

Information and communication technology has for the last four decades become very popular with major commercial banks in Ghana. Presently, rural banks in Ghana have also computerized and networked their operations. Atwima Kwanwoma rural bank, with the support of Bank of Ghana, has helped embark on nationwide computerization of all the banks in Ghana. This research study aims to examine the impact of information technology on the financial performance of Atwima Kwanwoma rural bank in the Ashanti Region. Perceptions of the management staff of the bank, branch managers, staff members and customers were collected using a survey method. In all 40 people were sampled from Atwima Kwanwoma Bank. Questionnaires were used to collect data randomly from the customers and staff of the Bank. Two types of questionnaires were prepared and distributed among staff and customers. Both semi-structured and 6-point Likert scale questionnaire were developed. Data findings established that information technology has a positive linear relationship with the financial performance of banks. The study concludes that we can say information technology has a positive impact on the image, goodwill and growth of Atwima Kwanwoma rural bank. The study recommends that customers should be prioritized by Atwima Kwanwoma rural bank before information technology. It is vital to set the needs and wants of customers first before you introduce any technological program or device.
