This research study aims to discover the possible relationship between social media usage with academic procrastination exhibited by students. The multistage sampling technique was utilized and a sample of N=240 belonging to different educational levels (intermediate, graduate, and post-graduate), stratified by gender (boys=120 and girls=120), was drawn from various educational institutions in the Peshawar district. The researchers utilized Social Networking Time Use Scale:SONTUS (Olufadi, 2016) to measure the time spent by the subjects on social networking sites. Whereas the Academic Procrastination Scale: APS (McCloskey, 2011) was used to gauge the Academic procrastination level of the respondents. Results indicated significant positive correlation between social media usage and academic procrastination, r = 0.424; p less than 0.01. An inverse relationship of educational level with social media time usage and academic procrastination was also manifested, r=-.153; p less than0.01 and r = -.167; p less than 0.01. Moreover, there was no significant difference in academic procrastination tendency by gender F(1,238)= 1.334, P greater than .05.

The purpose of this qualitative research work was to investigate the impact of institutional support in cultivating civic awareness among university students. Twenty students from the University of Okara were selected and interviewed through semi-structured interviews. The obtained data were analyzed through thematic analysis to reach the findings of the research. Results showed that university students are somehow lacking civic education or training by the institution. It is all due to the minimal provision of awareness to students about the civic sense and makes them understand their role as productive members of a society, which is provided by the family, instructors, and institutes. In light of the findings of this study, this study suggested that there is a dire need for awareness about civic sense and social morals among university students, along with setting up incentives to make students law-abiding citizens.

The purpose of this study is to examine the organizational culture of successful secondary schools. A criterion which is set to determine success is the obtaining of high scores by students through standardized achievement tests (SAT). The school which is selected on criterion-based were taken for the data collection. The criteria were 05 schools that remained on top in SAT results in Larkana District. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews and observations. The findings show that student-based variables and studies in the school for special exams play a more significant role than school-based variables on school success. The results also demonstrate that the organizational effective culture impacts the success of the schools holistically. The effective culture within the schools impacts the schools' performance and outcomes in general and specific. It is recommended that steps should be taken to keep healthy management roles for better outcomes for all stakeholders.

Disruptive behaviour of students in a classroom is a serious hurdle for effective learning and teaching process. This quantitative study was conducted to explore the strategies used by the teachers to reduce disruption in the classroom and data was collected through a survey. The population of this study was all female and male teachers teaching in public sector colleges of District Chakwal. To represent the entire population, through a convenient sampling technique, 13 public sector colleges were selected from District Chakwal and 176 teachers were randomly selected for data collection purposes. A self-developed research questionnaire was used for data collection after validation and reliability assessment. The results showed that most of the teachers practice proactive, reactive, recognition and reward strategies. In the light of findings, it is recommended that teacher training institutions should introduce modern behaviour management strategies in the curriculum of teacher training programs so that, teachers can perform their teaching activities in an excellent manner.

The main focus of the study was to analyse knowledge-related Attained learning outcomes gaps detection and resolution of the BS graduate programme. The research design of the study was confirmatory mixed methods. During phase 1, data were collected through Google forms from seven hundred and twenty-two graduates studying in four public sector universities of Punjab. While, in phase II, ninety-six faculty members were selected for the interview schedule to confirm the results of phase-I. The claim of BS graduates was that they attained the maximum level of knowledge-related learning outcomes. While faculty members marked that BS graduates attained medium level. One sample t-test was used and found a significant gap between Anticipated and Attained levels of knowledge. The study suggested to the HEC of Pakistan, concerning the provision of the NQF document should officially include in the course outlines of the graduate programme.

This research paper explored the peer review strategy's use at the university postgraduate classroom level for enhancing students learning and quality teaching. A phenomenological study design was adopted to capture the experiences of the teachers and students. The findings indicated that peer review enhances students' understanding of curricular tasks, ability to review their own work, and ability to provide constructive feedback to others. While peer review improves one's reasoning, writing, and communication skills, in contrast, students also experience negative behaviors during peer reviewing tasks such as lack of attention related to process, biasedness, favoritism, a lack of patience, and improper language usage. University postgraduate students must be trained in peer review training because it enhances their analysis capabilities and productiveness and promotes academic integrity and ethics among students, while teachers can benefit from enhanced teaching quality.

Assessment is the heart of the whole teaching-learning process and is considered fundamental for students learning. The perception of the teachers plays a vital role and usually influences their own practices. Therefore, studying the perception of the teachers can be helpful in improving the quality of education. The current study, therefore, aims at studying the perception of primary teachers of private schools in Lahore about their assessment-related practices. 250 teachers across Lahore were conveniently selected as the participants of the study. A questionnaire comprising 36 items was dispersed electronically owing to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. However, teachers were approached physically whenever possible. The findings show the examination is perceived as a tool to bring improvement both in students learning and teaching practices. It is, therefore, high time to train teachers to effectively use different modes of assessments to come at par with global standards of quality assessment systems.

Teaching students and managing their performances is a challenging task, and there are several ways to manage them. When students are grouped, their performance is much more fruitful and productive, but managing them is difficult. This research aims to find social studies teacher perspectives regarding managing group work in the elite school classroom. This study incorporated a qualitative phenomenological research design to explore social studies teachers' challenges when managing group work in their class. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from elite school social studies teachers.Semi-structured interviews were used to explore the beliefs of elite school teachers regarding group work. The study's findings suggest that group work is a general and rich approach often used by social studies teachers in elite schools. Social studies teachers face many challenges in managing group work. Moreover, students also complain about their dissatisfaction with their group members. However, it is also noted that group work increases efficiency and productivity in students and makes the classroom an interactive place to study.

The present study was focused to survey the factors responsible for paucity among national level cricketers. For this purpose, a sample of (n=100) first class cricketers was recruited from the list obtained from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Lahore, Pakistan. The required data were collected with the help of self-structured questionnaires. The collected data were accordingly processed through Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS), version 26. Statistical tests including Pearson correlation, linear regression and t-Test were accordingly applied. The results revealed that available facilities in the shape of grounds, coaches, and financial support significantly correlated with paucity of national level cricketers (.777**, .659**, .561** & p=.000). Likewise, participants having different age group and experience in sport reported no statistically significant difference in existing infrastructural sports facilities and paucity of Cricket (p > .05). Based on these, it has been concluded that the prevailing facilities for first class cricketers needs much more consideration on the part of relevant bodies. It is suggested that the federal and provincial governments may provide all the necessities, especially for the first class cricket players of Baluchistan.
