DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL EDUCATIONAL TOURISM (A Case Study at CV Milkindo Berka Abadi in Tegalsari Village, Kepanjen District, Malang Regency) 农业教育旅游的发展(以玛琅县Kepanjen区Tegalsari村Milkindo Berka Abadi CV为例)

Edu-tourism is one of the most developed kinds of the tourism sector. One of the examples is called Agricultural Educational Tourism of CV Milkindo Berka Abadi in Tegalsari Village, Kepanjen District, Malang Regency, East Java Province. This research aimed to determine the level of conformity between performance and importance level of marketing mix (7P), including product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. The method used in this research was survey. Data collection was carried out by distributing structured questionnaires to 100 participants of the educational tour package. Data were analyzed by using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to divide marketing mix attributes into four quadrants and find out how satisfied the consumers are with the company's performance. The results revealed that the level of conformity between performance and importance of marketing mix attributes is very conformable with a conformity level of 87,035% overall, which is 80-100%. It can be concluded that the level of conformity between performance and importance level of 7P marketing mix attributes are very conformable overall. However, the companies must continue improving marketing mix attributes to match tourist expectations in Agricultural Educational Tourism of CV Milkindo Berka Abadi.

THE INFLUENCE OF CUSTOMER VALUE ON MARKETING PERFORMANCE FOR SMALLHOLDER RUBBER FARMERS IN KUANTAN MUDIK DISTRICT, KUANTAN SINGINGI REGENCY 顾客价值对关丹县木地区橡胶小农营销绩效的影响

The success of customer value can affect the marketing performance of rubber. The research was conducted in Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of customer value on emotional value, social value, quality value, and price value on smallholder rubber farmers. The population in this study were 205 farmers, the sample was taken 15% of the population of 31 farmers selected by simple random sampling technique. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS application. The results of the study explain sig.t value for X1 is 0.003, sig.t value of X2 is 0.014, sig. t value of X3 is 0.021 which is smaller than the 0.05 level of significance. This means that X1, X2, and X3 partially have a significant effect marketing performance. While sig t value of X4 is 0.216 which is greater than the significant level, means price value partially has no significant effect marketing performance. f-test results sig.f value of 0.000 is smaller than the significant level of 0.05, meaning that the customer value seen from the emotional, social, quality, and price values simultaneously has a significant effect on increasing marketing performance.

COFFEE CERTIFICATION PARTICIPATION AND ITS IMPACT ON SMALLHOLDER FARMERS’ INCOME IN JIMMA ZONE, SOUTHWESTERN ETHIOPIA 埃塞俄比亚西南部jimma地区咖啡认证参与情况及其对小农收入的影响

Certification is an instrument to add value to a product, and it addresses a growing worldwide demand for healthier and more socially and environmentally friendly products. Globally, coffee certification has received strong recognition as it is proved to increase smallholder farmers’ access to input and output markets, production, productivity and income. This study investigates the major determinants of coffee certification participation. It also analyzes the welfare gains of participation in the certification schemes by smallholder coffee growers. Both primary and secondary data were used. Primary data were collected from randomly selected 247 coffee producers. Structured questionnaires, focus group discussions and key informant interviews were employed to collect the primary data. Descriptive statistics and econometric models were used for data analysis. Probit model was used to identify factors affecting participation in coffee certification schemes. Propensity score matching technique was used to estimate the impact of coffee certification participation on smallholders’ annual revenue from coffee production. The probit model result revealed that access to training, family size, land size owned, experience in coffee production, education status were significantly determined the smallholders farmers’ participation decision in coffee certification. The propensity score matching model result also shows that participation in coffee certification significantly (p=0.001) improved farmers’ annual revenue by 2,902 Ethiopian birr compared to selling coffee without the certification schemes. This income impact is mainly attributed to the premium price the certification offer to farmers for high quality coffee. Therefore, policies or projects related to coffee value chains should target improving farmers’ access to training, boosting the access to education, working on farmers’ productivity and increasing their technical knowhow on coffee certification to increase farmers’ participation in coffee certification and to improve their annual revenue earning level in the study area.

FORECASTING THE BASIC CONDITIONS OF INDONESIA'S RICE ECONOMY 2019-2045 2019-2045年印尼大米经济基本情况预测

By 2045, Indonesia's population is expected to reach 321.4 million, the fifth largest in the world after China, India, Nigeria, and the United States. It is an excellent challenge for Indonesia to provide food in the future as it keeps pace with the rapid population growth. This study aims to analyze forecasting the basic conditions of Indonesia’s rice economy 2019-2045. The research data use time-series data from 1961-2018, including data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Ministry of Agriculture/Pusdatin, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Rice Research (IRR), Department of Commerce, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and ASEAN Food Safety Information System (AFSIS). Data analysis using the simultaneous equations model approach. The results show that in 2019-2045 the projection of rice productivity in 2025 is 64,465 quintals per hectare; in 2035, it is 68,797 quintals per hectare, and in 2045 it is 77,462 quintals per hectare. In 2045, the projected land area is 27.64 million hectares. Although Indonesia is forecast to experience a rice surplus of 37.80 million tonnes in 2045, the projected rice production and domestic rice consumption level indicate the potential for rice imports of 15 million tonnes.

A VALUE CHAIN ANALYSIS ON MILKFISH COMMODITY IN SIDOARJO, EAST JAVA 东爪哇sidoarjo遮目鱼商品价值链分析

This study is aimed to describe the mapping of milkfish especially processed milkfish in Sidoarjo and to determine the improvement of the processed milkfish value chain. The identification of actors, activities, profits and margins obtained by each actor is presented along with a value chain improvement strategy. The research method used is a value chain analysis. The research findings showed that the actors involved along the chain were cultivators, borg , collectors, processors and consumers. Processor B obtained the largest margin of IDR 55,000 of 51.4%. The second largest margin obtained by processor A is IDR 32,000 or 28.6%. The cultivators get a margin of IDR 15,000 or 14.02%. The collectors get a margin of IDR 2,000 or 1.87%. Meanwhile, borg received a margin of IDR 3,000 or 2.8%. The difference between borg and collectors’ margin is not too far away because the selling price of milkfish has been determined by the market and the fish is still fresh and undamaged.

INDUSTRY CONCENTRATION AND GROWTH IN PHILIPPINE AGRICULTURE 菲律宾农业的产业集中度和增长

The study investigated the extent of relationship of the agriculture industry concentration and growth of Philippine agriculture. Specifically, it determined the key agriculture sub-sectors in each region in the Philippines and investigated the regional industry concentration and economic performance nexus. The objectives were achieved using secondary data for the 16 regions in the Philippines. Location Quotient (LQ) and correlation analysis were used as tools to make sense of the data. Results show a number of key industries in each region which from the assumptions of the LQ formed the economic base of the region. The findings show non-significant correlation between regional industry concentration and the GVA for agriculture. This suggested for further investigation of the concentration or diversity relationship to economic performance.

Specifically, it determined the key agriculture sub-sectors in each region in the Philippines and investigated the regional industry concentration and economic performance nexus. The objectives were achieved using secondary data for the 16 regions in the Philippines. Location Quotient (LQ) and correlation analysis were used as tools to make sense of the data. Results show a number of key industries in each region which from the assumptions of the LQ formed the economic base of the region. The findings show non-significant correlation between regional industry concentration and the GVA for agriculture. ANALYSIS OF COST AND RETURNS IN RICE PRODUCTION BY USAID-MARKETS II PROJECT PARTICIPANTS AND NON-PARTICIPANTS IN EBONYI STATE, NIGERIA 美国国际开发署市场ii项目参与者和非参与者对尼日利亚埃邦伊州稻米生产成本和收益的分析

This research work focused on analysis of cost and returns in rice production by USAID-MARKETS II project participants and non-participants in Ebonyi state, Nigeria. Multi-stage sampling procedure was employed to select 239 participants, and 252 non- participants for the study. Data were collected from primary source, and analyzed using Z statistic, Net Farm Income (NFI) and Returns Per Naira Invested (RNI). The result reveals that the Net Farm Income (NFI) obtained by USAID-MARKETS II project participants, and non-participants were N 493, 067.55/ha, and N 353, 408. 12/ha respectively while the return on investment obtained by them were N 3.28k, and N 3.05k respectively. There was a significant difference between the profits obtained by them. Therefore, this study recommended that the teaming unemployed Nigerian youth should be encourage by the government, and international agencies through provision of grant/loan to take up rice farming as a business.

THE INFLUENCE OF SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT ON PERFORMANCE OF ORGANIC COFFEE IN PASURUAN REGENCY 可持续供应链管理对有机咖啡生产绩效的影响

Pasuruan Regency is the largest area of organic coffee in East Java, Indonesia that has a potential future competitive advantage, but organic coffee is currently still weak and has to compete with non-organic coffee and imported coffee. Increase competition and make a business become sustainable require the involvement of actors in the supply chain and sustainable principles. This study aims to analyze the influence of supply chain sustainable management on performance in organic coffee in Pasuruan Regency. This research conducted in Prigen and Tutor Districts, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, in March until April 2020. The data was gathered from 51 respondents who were determined using purposive sampling and the Rules of Thumb with SEM-PLS as the analysis technique. Based on SEM-PLS analysis, sustainable supply management practices have a sustainable positive effect on sustainable performance, except for sustainable supplier management on social performance and sustainable consumer management on environmental performance. This is due to the lack of involvement of all suppliers in the social activities of the community and consumers who are not oriented towards the environmental aspects of organic coffee.

AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION: INVESTING BASIC AGRI-FOOD EDUCATION AND AGRIPRENEURSHIP KNOWLEDGE TO EARLY AGE STUDENTS 农业教育:将基础农业食品教育和农业创业知识投入到早期学生中

The disinterest of the young generation in agriculture carries out awareness in providing agricultural education from an early age. Agri-food education and agripreneurship can be solutions to awake the youth’s awareness that the agricultural sector is also a profitable business. Moreover, the positive perception of farmers as a profession also needs to be grown, especially for early age students. This present study was conducted to increase the interest, competence, and entrepreneurial spirit in agriculture through the implementation of agri-food education and agripreneurship. It was a case study, and the participants were 30 students of 5th grader in SD IT Al-Anwar Mojosari. There were three stages involved: 1) Preparation, 2) Implementation of the Program, and 3) Evaluation. For the data collection, a survey was used as an instrument in this study. The results have shown that there were the high enthusiasm and participation of the students during the activities which are indicated the positive effects of the implemented program.
年轻一代对农业的不感兴趣,体现了他们从小就有提供农业教育的意识。农业食品教育和农业创业可以成为唤醒青年意识的解决方案,即农业部门也是一项有利可图的业务。此外,农民作为一种职业的积极看法也需要加强,特别是对幼儿学生。本研究旨在透过实施农业食品教育与农业创业,提升学生对农业的兴趣、能力与创业精神。这是一个案例研究,参与者是SD It Al-Anwar Mojosari的30名五年级学生。项目分为三个阶段:1)准备,2)实施,3)评估。在数据收集方面,本研究采用调查作为工具。结果表明,学生在活动过程中表现出很高的积极性和参与度,表明了项目实施的积极效果。

PERCEIVED EFFECTIVENESS OF INFORMATION SOURCES IN MEETING INFORMATION NEEDS OF RICE GROWERS IN NEPAL 信息源在满足尼泊尔水稻种植者信息需求方面的感知有效性

A study was done to assess the effectiveness of different information sources in meeting information needs and utilization behavior of rice growers in western midhills of Nepal, taking 101 sample households. Survey design with a structured questionnaire was used for data collection under the pragmatic paradigm of social research. The study showed that 30 percent of farmers were high information seekers while about 59 percent were utilizing information highly implying that most farmers were using the information highly though they don't seek information by themselves. Input management and climatic information were highly sought and utilized. Though fellow and contact farmers were the more used source of information, however, respondents felt that extension personnel and agro-vets were more credible.  An assessment of the effective index showed that fellow farmers were highly effective followed by extension personnel and agro-vets while social media and ICTs were least effective. There was a significant positive correlation between information variables and education, ethnicity, number of crops grown and accessibility to information sources. However, poor accessibility of farmers to these sources was a major problem. Thus, a suitable information delivery system accessible to most farmers according to their time and needs should be designed regarding rice cultivation.
