Natural (cytochrome C) and artificial electron acceptors (1,4-benzoquinone, phenazine methosulfate, tetramethylphenylenediamine) were characterized, and the possibility of using the acceptors to determine the enzymatic activity of L-galactone-1,4-lactone dehydrogenase of Arabidopsis Thaliana in an aqueous solution and in a micellar system was investigated.

A new structural variant of the transcription factor EIN3 binding site has been obtained. This structural variant is strongly associated with the transcriptional response to ethylene and is preferred for EIN3 binding. Based on this structural variant, a new genetic ethylene sensor was developed.

Operational and analytical characteristics of electrochemical biosensors based on acetylcholinesterase have been considered for the determination of enzyme inhibitors. As was shown, application of the mixtures of carbon nanomaterials increases sensitivity of determination over that of single component coatings. Biosensors were tested on determination of reversible inhibitors in urea and blood serum.

A procedure has been developed for the synthesis of cross-linking aggregates of catalase by treatment with glutaraldehyde incorporated into the pores of the vaterite matrix and subsequent dissolution of the inorganic core. The resulting aggregates have a spherical shape with a narrow particle size distribution and a high specific activity of the enzyme.

Magnetic polymers with tetracycline molecular imprints have been synthesized. The conditions for the formation of a recognition layer of a piezoelectric sensor based on Fe3O4@MIP particles have been studied. It is shown that the use of the developed nanomaterial makes it possible to reduce the time required to prepare the sensor for analysis by 25 times in comparison with traditional methods.
