In this work, an integrated mathematical model of the liver cell, cholesterol metabolism, and drug interactions was developed. The model reproduced the well-known biology of cholesterol regulation, which confirms its potential for minimizing cellular research in the initial testing of new drugs for cardiology.

Using CRISPR/Cas9 and SEREX technologies we have identified and characterized more than two hundred potential molecular markers of oncological diseases. It was shown that the sodium-dependent phosphate transporter NaPi2b is a unique target for the development of antitumor targeted drugs due to its localization and tumor-specific epitope.

For any weighted directed chain-cycle graphs a and b (referred to as structures) and any equal costs of operations (intermergings and duplication), we obtain an algorithm which, by successively applying these operations to a, outputs b if the first structure contains no paralogs (edges with a repeated name) and the second has no more than two paralogs for each edge. The algorithm has a multiplicative error of at most 13/9 + ε, where ε is any strictly positive number, and its runtime is of the order of no(ε–2.6), where n is the size of the initial pair of graphs. We also obtain algorithms for reconstruction of the evolution of genome structures with a condition on ancestor structures and along the phylogenetic tree.

A digital technology for assessing the fractional flow reserve, a key diagnostic characteristic of coronary artery stenosis, has been developed and validated. The technology has a sufficiently high level of accuracy and can be used in real clinical practice in order to increase the diagnostic efficiency of routine computed tomography of the coronary arteries.
