Gamma-rays shielding and antibacterial properties of coated fabrics 涂层织物的屏蔽γ射线和抗菌性能

Today, with the development of technology, radiation exposure is more common. Therefore, alternative methods havebeen developed because shielding, which is used as the most effective method for radiation protection, has risks interms of health. With the awareness of consumers, the use of antibacterial textile products has increased in terms ofhygiene and comfort. In this study, for this purpose nano-silver which has antibacterial properties was applied to wovenfabrics with the impregnation method and the fabrics were coated with tungsten and barium sulfate, which have radiationshielding properties. The radiation shielding properties of fabrics against 137 Cs source emitting γ radiation wereinvestigated. In this study, woven fabrics with radiation protection and antibacterial properties, which are very importantfor the health sector, were obtained and compared with each other.

An investigation on non-flammability properties of polypropyleneknitted fabrics 聚丙烯针织物不燃性的研究

The research performed in recent years regarding synthetic filament yarns is improving the structures and properties ofsuch yarns, and diversifying their usage areas. Most of the current studies being carried out in this field are in the formof bringing functionality to filament yarns. And one of these functional properties is the production of flame-retardantyarns from different types of polymers. In this study, polypropylene (PP) raw material was mixed with organophos-phonate based flame retardancy additive at rates in between 1% and 8% in the feed hopper of a laboratory-type meltspinning machine during PP filament yarn production and then knitted fabric structures were obtained from these yarns.Then the flame retardancy properties of these PP knitted fabrics were tried to be determined by vertical flammabilitytests and Limit Oxygen Index (LOI) tests. Test results indicated that after flame time and char length values hadsignificantly decreased and values of LOI had increased in knitted fabrics by the increase in additive rate. In conclusion,it was observed that the increase in the rate of flame retardancy additive had significantly improved the non-flammabilityproperties of the PP samples.

Forecasting of Turkey's apparel exports using artificial neural networkautoregressive models 利用人工神经网络自回归模型预测土耳其服装出口

Foreign trade is significant for open economies and has a critical place in the development of national economies in aglobally competitive environment. Export has a key role as an important component in foreign trade transactions. In thisstudy, Turkey's exports of HS-61 “Apparel and clothing accessories knitted or crocheted” and HS-62 “Apparel andclothing accessories not knitted or crocheted” products were examined. Turkey's exports of these HS codes to sevencountries, which are mostly exported, EU27, OECD and the world were estimated for 2020–2025 using artificial neuralnetworks (ANNs). The model was validated by measuring forecast errors (RMSE, MAE, and MAPE) to ensure that themodel can recreate satisfactory results. The results reveal that the ANNs predicted the exports to the selected countriesaccurately. According to the findings from the NNAR (1,1) model, Turkey's exports of HS-61 coded products to Italy, theUK, France and EU-27 are expected to increase year-on-year from 2020 to 2025, while exports to the USA, Netherlandsand Spain are expected to decrease. Exports from Turkey to Germany, the world and the OECD are projected todecrease first and then increase. In the NNAR (2,2) model, Turkey's exports to Italy, the UK and France are expectedto increase year on year, while exports to other countries are generally estimated to decrease first and then increase.In the estimation made for the HS-62 product group with NNAR (1,1) model, it is predicted that TURKEY’s exports toItaly, the USA, the UK, France and Spain will increase year by year from 2020 to 2025. It is estimated that TURKEY'sexports to the Netherlands, Germany, World, OECD and EU-27 will decrease year by year in the same period. In theNNAR (2,2) model, it is predicted that TURKEY's exports to UK, France and Spain will increase year by year, whileexports to EU-27, OECD and World will decrease. However, TURKEY's HS-62 exports to Italy, the USA, the Netherlandsand Germany are expected to follow a fluctuating course.

Tensile and impact properties of chopped carbon fibre reinforcedthermoplastics with multiple recycle and regenerate 短切碳纤维增强热塑性塑料的拉伸和冲击性能

The increasing use of high-value carbon fibre in composites is linked with increasing waste generation. A simple andfeasible chopped/hot-press method was proposed for multiple recycled carbon fibre-reinforced thermoplasticcomposites. The effect of regeneration times on the tension and impact properties of carbon fibre-reinforcedpolypropylene thermoplastic composites was investigated experimentally. The results showed that the r1-CFRTPspecimen decreased by 69.34% in tensile strength and 48.66 % in tensile modulus compared with v-CFRTP. However,its tensile properties were improved with the increase of regeneration times (before 3 times). The impact strength ofr2-CFRTP and r3-CFRTP is 12.65%, 20.85% higher than v-CFRTP, while r1-CFRTP and r4-CFRTP are 8.02% and7.06% lower than v-CFRTP. When the third regeneration makes relatively excellent mechanical properties for recycledcarbon fibre/PP composite, the chopped/hot-press method is a meaningful attempt at recycling and reusing thethermoplastic composites.

In this study, a comparative assessment of the mechanical properties of chopped carbon fibre (CF) reinforcedpolypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyamide 6 (PA6), and polyamide 12 (PA12) composites was performed. Avariation in the composites was obtained by changing the fibre volume fraction of the composite elements under thesame manufacturing method and conditions. After blending reinforcement and matrix materials using the extrusionmethod, the composite materials were manufactured in the shape of plates with thermoforming. The composites’ tensileand 3-point bending tests were carried out, and the surface morphology of the fractured surfaces was examined byScanning Electron Microscope (SEM). As the fibre content in all matrices increased, the efficiency of the fibre in thecomposites decreased. Finally, ANOVA analysis and mathematical model development by the least square optimizationmethod were performed to analyse and fit experimental data. As a result of the ANOVA analysis, it was seen that thematrix type was more effective on the composite than the fibre type. The error of the modelling performed is less than20% for the tensile and three-point bending tests.

Permeability properties of dry-laid mechanical bonded nonwovens for filter 干式机械粘结非织造布滤料的透气性

The present study aimed to investigate the permeability of dry-laid, mechanically bonded nonwoven fabrics for filters offive different samples. Various permeability properties were investigated in the experimental part, such as water vapourpermeability, air permeability, thermal conductivity, porosity parameters, and surface openness, which affect thepermeability properties. The results of the study and statistical confirmation showed that the nonwoven structure has agreat influence on filtration performance.It was found that the sample with the largest mass and thickness had the optimal filtration properties, as it had thesmallest open area and thus the lowest water vapour permeability, average air permeability, and highest thermalconductivity.Statistical analysis confirmed that water vapour permeability correlates strongly with fibre diameter and bubble point, airpermeability correlates strongly with thickness and mass, and thermal conductivity correlates strongly with fibrediameter, thickness, and mass of the nonwovens studied.

Various permeability properties were investigated in the experimental part, such as water vapour\u0000permeability, air permeability, thermal conductivity, porosity parameters, and surface openness, which affect the\u0000permeability properties. The Information and Communications Technology sector may be organized into individual technologies or solutions.Theoretical literature review argues digitalization technologies make up enterprise architecture and shape businessprocesses or business models. It also shows contemporary business models market solutions for a given value orimpact, rather than sell individual technologies per se. Empirical data confirms enterprise architecture is the market forsystem integration. Market data shows the market leader is Software AG. The goal of this article is to build a theory withan emerging case example of more technologically and business model sophisticated solutions than the theoretical andmarket benchmark. The methodology is a dual case study on important market players, Siemens and PTC. Thestandalone cases allow for similar solutions which cannot be otherwise tested or validated. Reference is also paid toother market players within the article. The empirical data analysis is compared to acceptable benchmarks, theoreticalliterature review and the enterprise architecture market leader Software AG. Findings show emerging technologies addcapability maturity levels to accepted system integration. Network business models with a quantifiable and provablecustomer value proposition: bespoke or personalized products, reasonable cost per item, and zero inventory achievethe vision of mass customization. The business models are enabled by the highest level of digitalization capabilitymaturity, not considered in the status quo literature review and at the leading enterprise architect. They place the textileindustry at the forefront of technological innovation and extended reality-based marketing.

Social integration of people with disabilities is a significant issue, therefore effective interventions to provideimprovement of quality of life for people who have some kinds of disabilities are crucial. Specialists from various fields,including those in the field of clothing design, are working on creating products that meet people with disabilities’ needs.These products must be ergonomic, comfortable and provide the necessary psychological comfort. The whole processof designing functional products is very complex, it requires continuous research, using knowledge from various fieldsfor better development of products.This paper addresses the topic of developing adaptive clothing for people with multiple sclerosis in the context of socialinclusion and adaptation to new ways of life. All the proposals and ideas are analysed accordingly and differentconstructive and technological solutions are proposed to customize and adapt the basic clothing.

Determination of used textiles drape characteristics for circular economy 循环经济用旧纺织品悬垂特性的测定

In the present work, the drape characteristics of second-hand textile fabrics were determined. The results can be usedto implement the concepts of the circular economy. Automated software tools have been adapted and researched toapply the proposed methods and procedures for digital image analysis of used textile drape, which will be utilized todescribe their shapes and predict their characteristics, as well as their classification into groups and assessment ofclassification accuracy in recognizing their elements. A radius-vector function was used to determine the main drapecharacteristics, such as the number of peaks, their size, and their location. Analytical models have been created forautomated forecasting of the drape characteristics from used textiles, which can be applied to predict changes in thesecharacteristics. It obtained an accuracy of 68–92% in the prediction of the main drape characteristics of used textiles.Due to changes in their main characteristics, the errors in classification and prediction increased by 10–15%. Morecomplex computational procedures have been implemented to obtain a higher predictive power for second-hand textilefabrics. The results can be applied in the manufacture of new products such as curtains, tablecloths, napkins and fashionaccessories.

The personalized pattern generation method based on 2D body-measuring technology has considerable applicationpotential in clothing e-commerce, remote clothing customization, clothing production, and other aspects. By inputting thefront and side body images, this study proposed a new method of generating personalized patterns automatically. Thesilhouettes could be extracted from the body images to estimate body sizes and design style. The basic rules betweenthe patterns and the body sizes were analysed, and the rules of the general pattern generation were established througha knowledge-based combination of the basic pattern and the style parameters. The sizes extracted from images werecompared with the manually measured values, and the errors of these sizes were analysed. Sample pants were madeand tried on with the automatic pattern generation system, and the experiments showed that the sample pants have agood fit at some key landmarks. As a result, this system can automatically generate personalized patterns and styledesigns based on 2D human body images, to improve garment fit and accelerate clothing customization.
