This research investigates and report petrological features and geochemical characteristics of igneous rocks in Ado-Ekiti, Southwestern Nigeria. Exhaustive geological fieldwork reveals Ado-Ekiti is underlain by migmatite-gneiss, quartzite, granite (porphyritic and fine-grained) and charnockite. Petrographic investigation revealed overwhelming presence of quartz, biotite and plagioclase in all the rocks while microcline and opaque minerals occur in subordinate amounts. Average SiO2 content in porphyritic granite (74.56 %) is marginally higher than charnockite (73.51%) and fine-grained granite (70.41%). These values correlate well with previous works in the study area and agrees with similar rocks in other parts of the country. Analytical results using Phillips Panalytical PW1480 X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer with Rhodium Tube as the X-ray source revealed the siliceous nature of the rocks. The binary plot (Na2O+K2O) vs SiO2 established the rocks are granitic with all the samples plotting within granite field. AFM ternary diagram shows the rock have calc-alkaline affinity. Geochemical classification by (Na2O + K2O-CaO) vs SiO2 diagram reveals the rocks are “Calc-alkalic and calcic”. The elevated K2O (average of 4.41%) in the data signaled High-K calc-alkaline type on K2O vs SiO2 binary diagram. Alumina Saturation Index (ASI) showed the rocks are metaluminous while Al2O3 / (Na2O + K2O) vs Al2O3/ (Na2O +K2O +CaO) plot suggest the rocks have mantle origin

The concept of biological studies is divided into four levels of representation, namely macroscopic, microscopic, molecular, and symbolic levels. The interconnection of these four levels makes a major contribution to the development of students' mental models in building the meaning and conceptual understanding of biological materials. Mental models are ideas in the minds of students that are used to develop, explain, and predict a phenomenon. The formation of mental models is influenced by the experiences they have, their confidence or selfefficacy, and the problems they face. Multiple representations are believed to influence the formation of mental models and students' self-efficacy. For this reason, an in-depth study of the role of multiple representations in building mental models and students' self-efficacy is needed. This research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis techniques and a literature review (library research). The analysis is carried out by reviewing articles that are relevant to the study being discussed. In the search for articles, four keywords were used, namely: multiple representation learning, biology learning, mental models, and self-efficacy. The articles used in this study were 25 international articles obtained from Google Scholar and ERIC. From the results of the study, it was found that learning multiple representations is very effective in building mental models and self-efficacy in biology students. From the results of this study, it is recommended for lecturers and teachers to use multiple representations learning in the learning process to build mental models and self-efficacy in students.

This study aims to study English teachers’ perceptions of classroom management necessary skills at a high school in Quang Ninh. An exploratory research design was applied in this study. Eight English teachers were purposively chosen to participate in the study. A structured questionnaire was used to collect necessary data about the teachers’ perceptions of classroom management skills and the use of those skills in managing their English classes. The informal interview was then conducted to obtain in-depth information about teachers’ perceptions and reasons for what they did in the class. The collected data was analysed quantitatively and qualitatively and presented in tables and translation scripts. Results of the study revealed that English teachers at a high school in Quang Ninh province have a positive perception of their roles in managing the learning process of their students. They all played 8 dominant roles in managing their class. (Controller, Organizer, Assessor, Prompter, Participant, Resource, Tutor, and Observer). In addition, in order to play the roles through classroom activities more effectively, besides having a deep understanding of the teacher’s roles, the ways of acting their roles, and knowing how to apply them appropriately

An education continuum plan was unveiled by the Department of Education (2020) as soon as schools resumed their operations and acknowledged the key contribution that parents can make to the academic achievement of their children. Hence, this paper sought to explore parental participation in the completion of science academic tasks using the Husserlian Transcendental phenomenology approach. The result revealed six (6) emerging themes of the parents' lived experience; (1) parents’ educational background and ability limit their involvement in Science learning tasks; (2) social media sites and online games hamper science learning tasks productivity; (3) navigating multifaceted challenges in the new-normal education; (4) technology and the internet as a game-changer in the completion of Science learning tasks; (5) moral and emotional support as a way to encourage; and (6) discipline and ensuring a healthy working environment at home. Based on the findings, the school must provide parents with intervention strategies that meet their demands, including household instructional strategies and behavior management approaches for circumstances when children are learning at home.

This study intended to assess the water quality of a River in terms of the abiotic factors and bacterial analysis. Sampling stations were established through transect sampling. The abiotic factors or the physico-chemical parameters recorded from the river were found to be very supportive for the total well-being of the water and the aquatic organisms alike: water velocity (0.36 m/s) is smooth and temperature (23.18 oC) is on average that make both parameters “essential” to support the life cycle of organisms known to indicate a good water quality; pH level (7.14) is average/”satisfactory” for a fresh water; and turbidity (17.95 NTU) is rated as excellent. The bacterial analysis indicated that the water of Dahilayan River, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Phils. contains bacteria that make the water not potable. It is then concluded that the Dahilayan River is still in good condition as it projects onstandard-levels of abiotic factors or the physico-chemical parameters, however the streams’ bacterial content makes the water not potable

Lipocalin-2 (LCN2), also known as neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin, has been identified as a crucial iron protein that impedes bacterial growth during physiological and inflammatory states. In recent times, the oncological impact of LCN2 has been extensively studied in various cancer types, including colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer. Different levels of LCN2 have been linked to increased cell proliferation, angiogenesis, cell invasion, and metastasis. Consequently, LCN2 has emerged as a promising therapeutic target against various cancer types. This review consolidates the most notable findings on the expression, biological functions, and regulation of LCN2, along with the proteins with which LCN2 interacts in cancer.

BONYAN theory and method indicate being committed, accepted, and responsible as effective and constructive for "how to be with what is," and is presented in the form of the experiential marathon group. This study investigates the effect of online participation in the BONYAN-method experiential marathon group (BMEMG) on the quality of life of the non-clinical populations. This study was a quasi-experimental design of two heterogeneous groups, the experimental group (N=50) and the control group (N=98), with pre-test and post-test. The program was held over three days with three weekly follow-up sessions. Before the start and after the third follow-up session, WHOQOL-100 was provided to the two groups. The physical, psychological, level of independence, social relationships, environment, personal beliefs, generality, and overall score in the experimental group's post-test significantly differed from the experimental group's pre-test and the control group's post-test. The effect size was significant for all indices, among which spirituality and independence showed the highest effect size. The BMEMG, by providing opportunities for awareness of "how to be with what is," confronts people with their internal and dynamic psychological patterns and improves their quality of life by increasing their capacity for acceptance and flexibility.

The study established that digital technologies enable provision of individualized learning management system for teachers. The study indicated that there is significant relationship between competence-based digital literacy concepts and management of primary school curriculum implementation in Embu County, Kenya. Following study findings, the researcher concludes that competence-based digital literacy concepts are crucial in management of primary school curriculum implementation in Kenyan schools. Therefore, the researcher recommends that ministry of education should promote digital literacy technologies for efficient curriculum implementation management in primary schools in Kenya.
