Iranian Arabic teachers’ perception of applying educational software 伊朗阿拉伯语教师对应用教育软件的看法

Educational technology with its wide variety of usage has assisted teachers and learners to learn from the material which has been produced and reviewed by experts. However, the question may come to mind concerning the number of teachers applying such productions, how they perceive such productions, and if they use them, for what purpose they use them. This study was designed to investigate the Iranian Arabic teachers’ perception of applying educational software. To find the answer to these questions, the researchers have developed a survey and interview with 29 Arabic teachers in Ahar. The results from the interview and survey indicated that more than half of the teachers apply such productions for teaching grammar and pronunciation more than other skills and sections of the book. However, they also believe that not all parts of the available software are adequate for usage. Thus, the findings of the present study might be useful for Arabic language supervisor teachers and educational software designers, to improve the quality of the software and also to motivate the teachers to use them in their classrooms.   Keywords: Arabic language; educational software; foreign language.

A study on the outcomes of Montessori education in China 蒙台梭利教育在中国的成效研究

Montessori education has been acclaimed as one of the best methods of training students. Despite its widespread, little is known about Montessori education and its effects in mainland China. This research aims to spur more research on Montessori education outcomes in China. A quasi-experimental method was applied in this study, to compare the executive function (EF) development of children who had attended Montessori preschool to their non-Montessori peers. The study used a behavior rating inventory of executive function, second edition (BRIEF2) Parent Form to compare parents' observations of their child's executive functions (EF). Parents of Chinese elementary-aged children (6-8 years old) at the time of the study of both Montessori and non-Montessori preschool backgrounds participated in the survey. According to the results, children of Montessori preschool backgrounds had some statistically significant better-scored EF indexes than their non-Montessori peers. While the remaining indexes were not statistically significant, mean scores were still better for children who had attended Montessori preschool overall. Tutor competence training and work commitment to learning quality of Paket C 导师能力培训和工作承诺,以提高Paket C的学习质量

The Paket C program refers to the quality of learning as expected by the government and the community in Gorontalo Province. It has been established that competence training for tutors is beneficial in improving their skills in the learning implementation of the Paket C program. The present article intended to identify the correlation between tutor competence training and work commitment in high school equivalency programs, tutor competence training and learning quality of high school equivalency programs, work commitment and learning quality of high school equivalency programs,  tutor competence training and work commitment towards the learning quality of high school equivalent program. This descriptive quantitative study employed a causality design. Moreover, the intervening variable and path analysis method was applied to analyze the data. This study recommends improving the quality of learning to enhance further education and training, workshops/seminars, and academic activities to support practical activities and increase program tutors' work commitment. The inculcation of entrepreneurial characteristics in high school students through historical figures 通过历史人物对高中生创业特征的灌输

The study of historical figures in high school has tended to focus excessively on providing facts rather than lessons about real-life experiences and character values. Entrepreneurs are a valuable resource in the twenty-first century. It takes a history-learning strategy to teach the entrepreneurial character of historical figures. This study aims at improving students' understanding and attitudes toward the entrepreneurial character of historical figures. In addition, this study employs an action research design involving 27 high school students. The results showed that students' understanding and positive attitudes towards the four stories and the value of the entrepreneurial character of the figures could be improved. Six learning actions are effective steps to inculcate an understanding of the four stories and the values of entrepreneurial character from the figures. The study's findings can be used to apply entrepreneurial character education and provide learning materials for successful entrepreneurs throughout historical learning. An elementary school project-based learning program based on a Javanese comic 一个以爪哇漫画为基础的小学项目学习计划

Students are not equipped with the cognitive skills to face today's problems in the real world. Previous research showed that Indonesian elementary students lack critical thinking skills. This research aims to analyze the effect of the Javanese comics project to improve critical thinking and interpersonal skills in fifth-grade students. This study was conducted using a quasi-experimental design with 60 elementary school students in a pre-and post-test group for six weeks. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the N-gain score, Mann-Whitney U test, and Spearman rho correlation at the significance level of 0.05. The result revealed that 60 students improved their critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills. Thus, teachers could use Javanese comics project-based learning to increase students' critical thinking and communicative performance skills, as well as interpersonal communication skills in the innovative education of the 21st century. Assessing competence in teacher education: Development of university students’ problem-solving skills 教师教育中的能力评估:大学生解决问题能力的培养

In our research, we examined the development of complex problem-solving skills among 1st-year teachers training undergraduate students in engineering at Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania (N = 73). The research aimed to determine whether knowledge transfer works among students in interpreting life-like, specific problems. A worksheet was used as a measuring tool. In compiling it, we applied the concept that tasks include computer-transferable algorithms (such as cryptography process, parallel computing, and constraints), and their solution does not require any special IT knowledge, only structured and logical thinking. The research reports on the extent to which teacher training students have acquired knowledge and problem-solving strategies related to certain disciplines. The obtained data shed light on the fact that the lack of an interdisciplinary approach hinders the recognition of the connections between the different fields of education. A total quality approach to university education in an information and technological age 信息技术时代大学教育的全面素质途径

With education's restrictions for centuries, it is no longer a service issue but a national security issue, and investment in people is linked to the development of the people’s productive, economic, and military capabilities, and the issue has become the preparation and rehabilitation of capable youth armed with science, knowledge, and technology. This study aims to identify the requirements for the application of total quality in the university education system in light of the information and technological revolution. The qualitative analytical descriptive approach was used, the limitations of which are limited to higher education institutions. The study concluded the need for a feasible and effective educational system, centered on the student through his interaction and active participation, in which computer technologies and information and communication technology represented in local networks and the global Internet play a promising role based on the concept and philosophy of total quality in education.Keywords: Information technology; technological revolution; total quality, university educational system.

Development of pre-school math skills based on an instructional design with creative drama 基于创造性戏剧教学设计的学前数学技能发展

It is known that the foundations of learning in the cultural and educational process are laid in the preschool period. In this period, children acquire information on many different subjects by interacting with their environment in every field. Suggestions, intuitions, and experiences lie in the formation of this knowledge. Children, who learn mainly through intuition, gain experiences thanks to the mutual symbolization they make with objects. In this process, they try to make sense of what they perceive according to their experiences. In this study, it was aimed to improve the mathematical skills of preschool children with the use of creative drama techniques, based on the strategies suggested in the instructional design model of Seels and Glasgow, and accordingly, the teaching processes were designed with sessions and activities that included two classroom processes and discussed within the scope of the literature.Keywords: Creative drama; game; instructional design (ID); mathematical skills.

Physical education teachers’ attitudes towards the use of the Internet in education 体育教师对在教学中使用互联网的态度

The use of the Internet in the educational process is one of the factors that help to consolidate students’ knowledge and acquire new skills based on the exchange of experiences that take place via email or open group dialogues. The study aimed to identify the attitudes of physical education teachers in Jordan towards the use of the Internet in the teaching–learning process. The descriptive approach was used, in addition to the use of the questionnaire as a tool for the study. The data collection instrument was applied to the study sample of 328 teachers and educators in Jordan in the second academic year 2021–2022. After carrying out the necessary statistical treatment, the study concluded that there is a presence of positive attitudes among teachers towards the use of the Internet in the educational process. In addition, there is a disparity in the use of the Internet in the educational process among physical education teachers in Jordan. Mascara University’s master didactics students' anxiety about research topic choice 睫毛膏大学硕士生对研究课题选择的焦虑

It is argued that the most critical moment in performing research work is the topic choice. This challenging step comes before undertaking any research work. Almost, the most common researcher’s anxiety that comes to his/her mind is about the success or on the contrary, the failure of the topic choice. This research aims to tackle the common challenges and difficulties while choosing one’s research problem. The study targets a group of postgraduate students of the English language Department at the University of Mascara. Around 25 subjects representing Master II 2021–2022 promotion participated in this study. The research tools include a questionnaire with students and a teacher’s experience in teaching Research Methodology Module at Mascara University. Most participants prefer the topics proposed by their future supervisors. Also, the study tempts to give recommendations for developing students’ research topics and titles.        Keywords: Methodology, research work, students, topic choice;
