STEM approach in a research-based learning method that combines innovative research and learning. This research develop a research-based learning method based on STEM approach to improve students' metacognition skills in utilizing cascara fermentation with a magnetic field to produce health herbal teas. This research and development was employed the ADDIE research and development model that consisted of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the analysis phase, interviews and observations were carried out based on the guidelines to identify the problems. The design of the product was then determined to be developed in the development stage, followed by the expert validation in the assessment stage to measure content validity and face validity. The implementation and evaluation stages produce the final product that was tried out to gain data of students’metacognition skills. The product developed in this research is regarded valid, effective and practical. Besides easy use, the product can serve as essential lecture material. This study aims to conduct a literature review to explore the justification for including programming and coding in K–12 curricula. Additionally, it considers the value of teaching computational thinking and programming principles, pedagogical strategies, and the advantages and drawbacks of teaching programming to young students. Most studies acknowledge that programming courses effectively motivate and engage students and achieve learning objectives. However, research reveals that teachers lack the skills to teach programming, and even seasoned educators may find it challenging to develop and implement the necessary pedagogical strategies. Researchers recommend using frameworks based on sociocultural theories of learning, increased resources and training, student-centered instruction, and lowering teacher workload, which has led various nations to re-evaluate their curricula. Finally, the review concludes by suggesting the need for more research on how teaching and learning programming affects learning in other academic disciplines. Keywords: Computer education, computational thinking, pedagogical strategies, programming, K–12 curricula;

One of the biggest issues in education today is classroom management, particularly in inclusive environments where students' demands are diverse. The literature suggests using management strategies and evidence-based approaches to manage classrooms effectively. This study aims to investigate how teachers implement evidence-based classroom management techniques in inclusive primary school settings. The data of the research were collected through an online questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. Within the parameters of the study, 103 participants who met the criteria for purposive sampling completed an online questionnaire, and 10 participants took part in semi-structured interviews. The results from the online questionnaire reveal that ‘clearly defining the classroom rules’ is the most often employed evidence-based classroom management technique by teachers. After a descriptive analysis of the data from the semi-structured views. Eleven themes and 35 sub-themes were identified. The findings were discussed and compared with the literature. Recommendations were presented. Keywords: Classroom management, evidence-based approach, inclusive education, integration, management strategies teacher behaviors;

Economics as a subject is regarded as the bedrock of all management and social science-based disciplines. The persistently low level of students’ achievement in economics in senior secondary school examinations has become a thing of great concern to all stakeholders. This study examined students’ performance in the Senior Secondary School economics qualifying examination in Kano State and the influence of sex and schools' nature on their performances in economics. An ex-post facto design of descriptive research was adopted for the study. A proforma was used to collect data from a sample of 300 students, selected using a stratified random sampling procedure from the secondary schools in Kano State, Nigeria. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and an independent-sample t-test to test the hypotheses. Overall results showed that students performed above average and a significant gender difference exists in economics performance. Similarly, there is no significant difference in students’ performance with respect to the schools' nature (boarding and day schools). Keywords: Economics, examination, students’ performance, school nature

Eye contact has been defined as an exchange that mediates a significant part of non-verbal procedures between people. Though studies have been carried out on eye contact between adults, the number of studies dealing with the quality, process and messages of eye contact between children and attachment figures is limited. The goal of this study is to analyse the quality, process and messages of eye contact between three-year-old children and their mothers during their interaction in a play setting. It is a qualitative case study. Micro analysis was used as the analysis method. 14 three-year-old children, 8 girls and 6 boys, participated in the study with their mothers. A 10-minute play process was recorded in a standard setting with standard materials. Records were evaluated in periods cut with micro analysis method and transformed into graphics. Study results showed 374 attempts to make eye contact between children and their mothers. It was understood that majority of these attempts were initiated by the mothers and the success/failure rate of these attempts were close each other. It was observed that success rate of eye contact was higher when it was initiated by children and failure rate of eye contact was higher in cases when it was initiated by mothers. Causes of making eye contact shows that mothers were more likely to make eye contact when they ask questions, wait for an answer and control the child and children tried to make eye contact when they ask for approval of their mothers, chat and exchange ideas with them. Keywords: Mother, child, interaction, eye contact.

The career provides people with a sense of material and intellectual independence and the ability to use their energies in the service of work for society and to reach an achievement that they and those around them are proud of. The study aimed to identify the level of career satisfaction in sports teachers in Jordan and its relationship to variables such as economic level, educational level and professional experience. The descriptive approach was used in addition to the use of the questionnaire as a data collection tool for the study. The study sample consisted of 300 teachers and educators in Jordan. Based on the results, there is a statistically significant relationship between educational level and occupational satisfaction of teachers in sports education. There is a positive, statistically significant relationship between occupational satisfaction and occupational age in teachers in Jordan. Keywords: Career, career satisfaction, education, sports;

Electronics as a course is one of the essential courses in the BSc EEE program and its outcomes are indicators of success. The main aim of this research work is to assess and evaluate the course outcomes of the electronics course of the Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering program, incorporating higher-order thinking skills and complex engineering problem-solving skills among the students. To compute and appraise the course outcomes of this course and hence its impact on the program outcomes, we used direct assessment data from various formative and summative assessment tests during a particular semester. Finally, statistical analysis is performed to check whether a particular student cohort of electronics courses could achieve this or not. All of the participating students have attained the benchmark set before the start of the course. Finally, course survey results and a few recommendations are provided as a measure of the continuous quality improvement method. Keywords: Assessment; Electronics; Evaluation; OBE; CO.

The study aimed to establish internal quality assurance practices in the academic staff at Chinhoyi University of Technology. The mixed method strategy and the convergent parallel design were adopted for the study. A questionnaire with both closed and open-ended questions and an interview guide were enlisted for the study. Simple random sampling was employed to select 40 academics to complete the questionnaires. Of these, 10 respondents were purposively selected for interviews. Quantitative data were analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences and qualitative data were coded and put into respective thematic areas. The main findings were that the quality assurance practices were characterised by limited student engagement, staff resistance, limited financial support and weak quality culture. The main deficiencies were management decisions not informed by quality data metrics and limited commitment to quality issues by staff. The international expansion process of firms has been the subject of many studies, nonetheless only Western firms have become the most discussed within the literature. Fewer studies have been done with an emphasis on Southeast Asian firms. Following this issue, this study aims to investigate the most suitable strategy as well as the best entrance modes for firms to internationalize and accordingly, to offer a strategy implementation guideline for firms to enter foreign markets successfully. As the research method prerequisite, this study applies the quantitative approach. The key finding of this study indicates that there is a strong positive relationship between firms’ international expansion and foreign market entrance. Additionally, this study’s finding is also considered a useful guideline for the SME manager to internationalize or enter the foreign market, especially during the hits of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
