The Role Of Music In The Life Of Teenagers 音乐在青少年生活中的作用

Music is the expression of ideas, thoughts and feelings of the creator through the arrangement of tones or sounds to produce sound compositions in the form of songs. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of adolescents on the role of music. The method/approach used in this study is a survey method using a questionnaire to 63 Indonesian teenagers with an age range of 10-24 years. The results showed that 45.3% of teenagers chose the pop genre as their favorite music genre to listen to and the majority of teenagers thought that pop genre music had a role as friends with activities with a percentage of 26.9%. Then 50% of teenagers' moods can be influenced by music. In conclusion, music has a very broad role in the lives of teenagers.

Form And Function Shifting Of The Music Corps Bregada In Kasunanan Surakarta Palace 卡苏南府府音乐团布雷加达的形式与功能转换

Brigade or more known as the Javanese term of the bregada in  Surakarta Kasunanan Palace has always experienced shifts or even form changing and function in the post-independence period of Indonesia. Even though there has been a shift in form and function, the Bregada of the Kasunanan Surakarta palace is still maintaining its existence. This study aims to describe the form and function shifting process of the bregada in Kasunanan Surakarta palace, especially the bregada of the music corps unitary. The focus discussed in this paper include: (1) Function shifting of the Kasunanan Surakarta Palace music corps, (2) repertoires songs changing that played by the Surakarta Kasunanan Palace music corps from the pre-independence to the Indonesian post-independence period, and (3) performance form changing of the Kasunanan Surakarta Palace music corps. This research data uses a literature review from historical records and ancient manuscripts, as well as in-depth interviews with key informants. Based on the study results, the function shifting of the music corps bregada and the songs that were played were visible from the function of war music turning into traditional and cultural activities, especially referring to the function as performing arts and tourism activists, that is the performance of a military music parade for the advancement of tourism in the Solo city, Central Java.

Virtual Keroncong Music Performances As An Effort To Maintain Their Existence During The Covid-19 Pandemic 虚拟Keroncong音乐表演作为在Covid-19大流行期间维持其存在的努力

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on various sectors of the creative industry, especially in the performing arts. The prolonged impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused activities in the performing arts sector such as performing arts and music concerts which are usually held regularly to be unable to run. To maintain its existence, O. K Tjong Young Gita Citra Alam held a virtual keroncong music performance through social media platforms. The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the use of social media platforms in organizing virtual keroncong music performances as an effort to maintain the existence and media promotion of musical works. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques were done through observation, interviews, and document studies. Triangulation was carried out to test the validity of the data obtained before being analyzed using the stages of data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusions. The results show that O. K Tjong Young Gita Citra Alam uses social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram as a medium to organize virtual music performances as a promotion and introduces works and maintains their existence. Social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram are very effective, practical, and efficient promotional media because information uploaded through YouTube and Instagram accounts can be conveyed easily and can be reached and accessed quickly and easily by people around the world using smartphones, laptops, and computers connected to the internet.

Ensemble Combo Band For The Visually Impaired Person At SLB Negeri 1 Dauh Puri Klod, Denpasar Barat

SLB Negeri 1 Denpasar is one of the knowledge forums for children with special needs, one of them is visually impaired, for them to be able to study, and develop their talents in art, especially music. This research focuses on the process and role provided through the ensemble music combo band for children with visual impairments. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with 3 (three) aspects of the discussion that are methods and stages in playing music, the role of ensemble music, and the impact given by combo band ensemble music. Data collection techniques are used observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The theories used in this research are musicology theory and music psychology. The source of this research data was obtained from data in the field in the form of primary data and secondary data from books or other literature studies. The results of the research explained that this had a positive impact. The role of music in each visually impaired individual can help in the development of their character such as a sense of discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence. Meanwhile, through the music ensemble, combo bands can be a medium to create collaboration and social interaction because this activity requires communication, cooperation, emotional and ego control as well as openness in playing music.

Creating Process of Composition Of The “Kulino” Musical Drama At Theater Aura Indonesia 印尼奥拉剧院“库利诺”音乐剧创作过程

Music for the Aura Theater is not only a supporter of the presentation of the show, but also as a medium for conveying the core story in a performance that is packaged in the form of songs and becomes part of the storyline. This makes researchers interested in the process of creating songs in their musical dramas. This study aims to identify and describe the process of creating compositions for musical drama songs in Kulino scripts at the Aura Indonesia Theater performance. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that produces descriptive data. The research location is in the center of theatrical activities of Theater Aura Indonesia with data sources from the chairman as well as the director of Kulino performances and composers. Data were collected by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive model whose elements include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that in the process of creating the composition of the Kulino musical drama song through stages (1) script review, namely the activities of appreciating, reviewing, discussing, or reviewing all the elements contained in the script to be worked on (2) observation, namely the stages carried out by the composer. to get musical inspiration which is then illustrated in the form of rough notes (3) pouring, namely pouring rough notes from observations into the form of musical compositions (4) embodiment, namely redeveloping the finished song by adding other musical instruments, namely keyboard, guitar melody, violin, cello, drum, bass, flute, and saxophone (5) presentation, in which the composer presents the finished song to the director and assistant director.

Students’ Reception To Creation Puppet Music Of Hikayat Banjar 学生对班加尔创作木偶音乐的接受

    Hikayat Banjar as a literary treasure with a mix of history and myths about the origin of the Banjar people is not well known to the younger generation of South Kalimantan. In fact, from the Hikayat Banjar, we can know the central role of the river as a wetland landscape. This research tries to revitalize the Hikayat Banjar in the form of a puppet creation video that contains the final part of the Hikayat Banjar music which is related to the history of the founding of the Banjar kingdom. This video was shown and watched by students of SMA Islam Terpadu Ukhuwah class XI. After watching the video, they were asked to answer questions about how they saw the show about the Hikayat Banjar which they had watched. From the results, it is known that there is a great relationship between Hikayat Banjar and the students' knowledge about the show. It is proven, only 56% of students know about Hikayat Banjar. However, this video itself was received positively by students and became their reference in understanding certain parts of the Banjar Hikayat.Meanwhile, the role of the river in the Hikayat Banjar is considered important by the respondents. Ninety-six percent of respondents agree that rivers play an important role, both socially and politically. Both are a means of regional development, as well as a battle arena. This study uses a descriptive approach to describe and view audience data in the questionnaire that has been filled out. The results show how Hikayat Banjar music position is on the horizon of audience reception.

This research tries to revitalize the Hikayat Banjar in the form of a puppet creation video that contains the final part of the Hikayat Banjar music which is related to the history of the founding of the Banjar kingdom. This video was shown and watched by students of SMA Islam Terpadu Ukhuwah class XI. After watching the video, they were asked to answer questions about how they saw the show about the Hikayat Banjar which they had watched. From the results, it is known that there is a great relationship between Hikayat Banjar and the students' knowledge about the show. It is proven, only 56% of students know about Hikayat Banjar. However, this video itself was received positively by students and became their reference in understanding certain parts of the Banjar Hikayat.Meanwhile, the role of the river in the Hikayat Banjar is considered important by the respondents. Ninety-six percent of respondents agree that rivers play an important role, both socially and politically. Both are a means of regional development, as well as a battle arena. This study uses a descriptive approach to describe and view audience data in the questionnaire that has been filled out. Learning basic instruments (compulsory piano) is a basic piano practice course that must be taken for all students except for piano major students. Learning this basic instrument (compulsory piano) encountered obstacles, namely that students still did not understand and could play the piano. This is certainly an obstacle in the process of learning basic instruments (compulsory piano) especially in the current situation where learning is carried out online. Electronic modules or e-modules are needed to assist students in an effective and efficient learning process. This basic instrument e-module design (compulsory piano) can function as a problem-solving idea, namely to develop effective and efficient learning materials. The purpose of this study is to facilitate the learning process in the basic instrument class (compulsory piano). The basic instrument e-module design (compulsory piano) is an important element in online learning which is arranged in a systematic and interesting way. This electronic module can be accessed using gadgets owned by students and supports the environmentally friendly (paperless) movement. The research method used is Research and Development with several stages, namely need assessment, design, and development/implementation. The last stage in this research is evaluation and drawing conclusions. The data are directly obtained in the basic instrument class (compulsory piano) in the Music Education Study Program. This e-module design is expected to be useful for the effective and efficient progress of the learning process for basic instruments (compulsory piano) in the Music Education Study Program, FSP ISI Yogyakarta.

The Impact of Social Media in Piano Practice Online Learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic Period 新冠肺炎疫情时期社交媒体对钢琴练习在线学习的影响

This research aims to examine and describe the design of practical online learning in the arts by utilizing social media as a platform to enforce lecturing activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the impact of the use of social media. The data was collected through focus group discussion, observations, interviews and documentation. The subjects involved in this research were 10 students who took major piano instruments in the Music Education Study Program at Lampung University. This research used qualitative methods, by analyzing interactive data. The results of the data analysis showed that the use of social media in piano online learning was able to increase student motivation through competitive strategies. The learning design by utilizing social media can be used as one of the strategies to overcome the lack of student learning motivation in practical learning in the arts during the Covid-19 pandemic.  
本研究旨在研究和描述在2019冠状病毒病大流行期间利用社交媒体作为执行讲座活动的平台,设计实用的艺术在线学习,以及使用社交媒体的影响。数据是通过焦点小组讨论、观察、访谈和文件收集的。本研究以南榜大学音乐教育课程中主修钢琴乐器的10名学生为研究对象。本研究采用定性方法,通过分析互动数据。数据分析的结果表明,在钢琴在线学习中使用社交媒体能够通过竞争策略提高学生的学习动机。利用社交媒体的学习设计可以作为克服新冠肺炎疫情期间学生在艺术实践学习中学习动机缺乏的策略之一。

This research aims to analyze the ethnomusicological study of hadrah ishari musical art. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with an ethnomusicological approach. The data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were done with an informant who is competent in the art of hadrah ishari is Ichwan Mu'jizat. The data analysis steps are data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The data validity was obtained through triangulation techniques of data sources and techniques. The results of the study show history, the form of presentation of this hadrah music consists of the introduction, the core, and the final presentation. The elements that make hadrah ishari music consist of tempos, rhythm, expressions, dynamics, and tone scales, while the elements that make the vocals of hadrah music are articulation, respiration, intonation, and tones. The movement of the head and hands also has a deep meaning about the symbol writing of Allah SWT and Muhammad SAW. The function of hadrah ishati itself has developed from the beginning for da'wah media, now it has begun to develop into entertainment, communication, commercial and creative media. Based on the results of the research, it is hoped that there are further researches and they can improve the results of the research, especially in the ethnomusicology study of the hadrah musical art. The development of science and technology is currently marked by the increasingly advanced field of Technology and Communication (ICT) in various sectors of life, including education. The use of application-based media is widely used during a pandemic. The world of education does not escape the role of digital-based media, such as learning in schools. There are times when students feel bored. Seeing the boredom of students when studying, it is necessary to make an innovation to motivate students to increase their enthusiasm. The author has an idea to create a music application. The purpose of this research is to make it easy for users or teachers and students to understand the material, especially Indonesian traditional music. The method used is Research and Development method and use the waterfall model, which is a systematic and sequential information system development model. Waterfall has the following stages: a. Requirements analysis and definition, b. System and software design, c. Implementation and unit testing, d. Integration and system testing, e. Operations and maintenance. The Mutranesia application is designed to support cultural arts learning in Indonesian traditional music materials. This app has six page views. First, the splash screen display. Second, display the Welcome page. Third, display the about page. Fourth, display the credits page. Fifth, map pages, and sixth, content display. The Mutranesia application is an android-based music application which has the concept of maps.
