PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN ANDALIMAN (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC.) TERHADAP GAMBARAN MORFOLOGI OVARIUM MENCIT (Mus musculus L.) STRAIN DDW.

A study on the effect of andaliman (Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC.) leaves ethanol extract to morphological ovary of mice (Mus musculus L.) strain DDW. has been, and was given orally by gavage on 4 days before estrus and 4 days after estrus with the volume given was 0,1 ml/10 g body weight. The research has been studied at Animal Structure And Physiology Laboratory of Department of Biology in Mathematics And Natural Science Faculty, University of  North Sumatera in Medan since February 2006 until September 2006. The research method used was completely randomized designed non factorial which consist of treatment and control groups. The treatment had one factor that is extract dosages with 2500 ppm (0,25 g/100 ml aquadest), 5000 ppm (0,5 g/100 ml aquadest), 10000 ppm (1,0 g/100 ml aquadest), 20000 ppm (2,0 g/100 ml aquadest), 40000 ppm (4,0 g/100 ml aquadest).The result showed that the chemistry consist of andaliman leaves extract is alkaloid, steroid, and saponin. The effect of andaliman leaves extract on 9 days to morphology of  ovary weight and diameter of mice did effect, but DnMRT showed non significantly effect of treatment and control groups of mice. From the result it was concluded that andaliman leaves extract did effect to ovary morphology of female mice, because can be effected oogenesis and ovulation. But the result showed that fluctuatif, because maybe the andaliman extract is crude extract that didn’t  isolation chemistry consist.
安达里曼(Zanthoxylum acanthopodium DC.)叶乙醇提取物对小鼠(Mus musculus L.)株DDW形态卵巢影响的研究。分别于发情前4天和发情后4天灌胃给药,剂量为0.1 ml/10 g体重。该研究于2006年2月至2006年9月在棉兰北苏门答腊大学数学与自然科学学院生物系动物结构与生理实验室进行。采用完全随机设计的无因子研究方法,分为治疗组和对照组。处理有一个因素,即提取剂量为2500ppm (0,25 g/100 ml aquadest), 5000ppm (0,5 g/100 ml aquadest), 10000ppm (1,0 g/100 ml aquadest), 20000ppm (2,0 g/100 ml aquadest), 40000 ppm (4,0 g/100 ml aquadest)。结果表明,安达里曼叶提取物的主要化学成分为生物碱、甾体和皂苷。andaliman叶提取物在第9天对小鼠卵巢形态、重量和直径有影响,但DnMRT对实验组和对照组小鼠无显著影响。由此可见,安达里曼叶提取物对雌鼠卵巢形态有一定的影响,因为它可以影响卵子的发生和排卵。但结果显示,由于可能是未分离化学成分的粗提物,结果存在波动。

KAJIAN REKLAMASI LAHAN PASCA TAMBANG DI JAMBI, BANGKA, DAN KALIMANTAN SELATAN 詹比、邦加和南加里曼丹的矿山开垦研究

Reclamation is an activity aimed at improving or managing the use of disturbed land as a result of mining business activities, in order to be functional and efficient according to its allocation. Mining reclamation activities should be carefully planned so that the land can be utilized optimally by the government and communities around the mine. Reclamation in Indonesia has been done in several mining areas. Reclamation activities that have been carried out, among others, exist in three regions in Indonesia, namely in Jambi, Bangka and South Kalimantan are considered less effective, due to lack of public participation and errors of reclamation technology. To avoid obstacles from reclamation, an effective reclamation activity is required. In general, reclamation can be done in three stages: land preparation, planting and maintenance.

Ruthab dates are believed to have benefits for couples who want to have a descendant because it has phytoestrogen content that has an important role in the female uterine blood vessels that can increase fertility. Phytoestrogens have estrogenic activity that has similar structures with natural estrogens. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of fitoestrogen of  date palm fruit (Phoenix dactylifera L.) to synchronize the estrous cycle in mice (Mus Musculus L.). Animals try to use 24 Balb / C starbine female mice. The test material in the form of extract of dates is given orally at doses of 260 mg/kg BB, 780 mg/kg BB and 1820 mg/kg BB. Data were analyzed by simple linier regression test with 5% significance level. The results showed a significant influence between the control and treatment group (R = 0.767) so that it can be concluded that the effect is caused by the action phytoestrogens  hormones in the content of dates.

UJI AKTIVITAS SENYAWA ANTIOKSIDAN DARI EKSTRAK DAUN TIIN (Ficus Carica Linn) DENGAN PELARUT AIR, METANOL DAN CAMPURAN METANOL-AIR 测试提取物(Ficus Carica Linn)中抗氧化的化合物的活性,以及水溶剂、甲醇和英雄水混合物

Antioxidants can ward off free radicals in the body to resist oxidative damage caused by free radicals. The aim of this research is to know the influence of water solvent, methanol and methanol-water mixture to antioxidant activity. The extraction is done by maceration method. The extraction results in the phytochemical test and functional group analysis to determine the compounds contained in Pig leaf extract. Further testing of antioxidant activity with DPPH method. Pig leaf extract with methanol solvent has antioxidant activity with IC50 3,3005 μg / ml value, Pig leaf extract with water solvent has antioxidant activity 3,6976 μg / ml and Pig leaf extract with methanol solvent: water has antioxidant activity 13,6140 μg / ml. The IC50 <50 μg / ml value indicates that the Pig leaf extract with some solvents has potent antioxidant potential. Pig leaf extract with methanol solvent has the best antioxidant activity with IC50 3,3005 μg / ml value because according to phytochemical test and functional group analysis that methanol solvent is able to extract more active compound such as flavonoid, Triterpenoid and Sterol, Alkaloid and Saponin followed by Pig leaf extract with water solvent and methanol mixture: water.

SISTEM PAKAR DETEKSI AWAL PENYAKIT TUBERKULOSIS DENGAN METODE BAYES 用贝斯方法首次检测结核病的系统

These days, computer technology has been a great need to us humans, especially in medical experts, which evaluated to adopt humans’ ability and knowledge to the computers. So that the computer is capable of solving problems like what an expert is capable of doing. The main purpose of developing the expert system is to substitute all kinds of humans’ knowledge to the technology that it can be useful to the public to solve some specific problems. The application of the expert system made with programming language based on PHP web and MySQL as the database. The method used is Forward Chaining. Expert system can mainly be used to diagnose diseases such as tuberculosis using Bayes method that can diagnose and identify the tuberculosis according to its symptoms.

ANALISIS PROKSIMAT PADA TEPUNG BIJI NANGKA (Artocarpus Heterophyllus Lamk.)

Indonesia is a tropical country which is diverse types of plants, one of them which was plant jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.). But so far, its utilization of waste still leaves form the seeds of jackfruit. Basic human needs of food and technology progress encourages humans to cultivate seeds into flour, jackfruit seed jackfruit. To understand the nutrient content of quality food grain powder jackfruit is the researchers want to do an analysis of proksimat on seed flour, jackfruit. This research use experimental design to test the levels of protein, carbs, fat and calories jackfruit seed flour. The measurement of protein content by Kjeldahl method, method of Carbohydrate carbs by Defference method with Soklet,fat,and calories with manual calculation. Research results from the jackfruit seeds have been processed into flour, jackfruit seeds showed that levels of the protein in the flour biji nangka of 12.19 grams, carbohydrate levels of 56.21 grams, 1.12 grams of fat content and moisture content of 12.4 grams. Expected with the known value of jackfruit seeds flour on proksimat this will encourage the public to make use of waste food into jackfruit seeds in the form of jackfruit seed flour. In addition to reducing waste, nutrient content of jackfruit seed flour is also high.
