This paper was aimed at identifying the captive attitude of Abdullah Munshi in his work and to analyse how the West came to recognise him as ‘The Father of Modern Malay Literature’. Abdullah Munshi’s courage in challenging the existing literary conventions and in introducing a Western style of writing to Malay audiences earned him this title. This recognition made him the most credible Malay literary figure from the perspective of the Western colonialists, especially with his first autobiographical work titled Hikayat Abdullah. His reputation continued to rise until several scholars began to dispute his credibility by arguing that he did not deserve to be recognised as such. Abdullah Munshi was labelled as an individual who was captivated by everything concerning his Western benefactors, as illustrated in his magnum opus. With this phenomenon in mind, this study applied the text analysis method to the first Malay autobiography, the Hikayat Abdullah , based on Syed Hussein Alatas’ concept of a captive character. The findings of the study revealed that Abdullah Munshi conformed to five criteria in this concept of a captive character, namely, a person who copies the activities of Westerners and regards them as beneficial; a person who is unable to raise new questions in life; a person who regards Western knowledge to be the best; a person who accepts the suggestions of Westerners without objection; and a person who thinks so highly of the West that he fails to realize that he himself has become a captive. This means that Abdullah Munshi was a person who was a captive of the West, as he himself revealed through his autobiography. To summarize, it can be proven that the recognition accorded to Abdullah Munshi as ‘The Father of Modern Malay Literature’, which led to the separation of Malay literature into two periods, was the best agenda by the West to ensure the relevance of their presence in the colonies, particularly in the Malay World.

The total production of Indonesian palm oil (CPO) in 2018 reached 43.9 million tons, with a land area of 12.3 million hectares. However, every month there are still many companies that have problems in predicting palm oil production. Problems in predicting thisproduction can be solved by calculation methods in the field of artificial neural networks, namely the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM)method. This method can solve linear and non-linear data problems and provide better average computation compared to other methods inpredicting oil palm production. The data used is palm oil production data at PT Indo Palm Oil Labuhan Batu with a total of 297 in the period2017-2018. While the parameters used are planting age, land area, number of trees, and yields. The results of the best-hidden neuron testare 13 with 2 technical data features and the training data pattern is pattern 1. The average MAPE value is 20.1% with the fastestcomputing time is the use of the number of hidden neurons 2. So based on the test results, the method ELM has a predictive model withquite good performance because the MAPE value is in the range of 20% -50%.

The relationship between employee performance and job satisfaction lies in the achievement of a goal. The existence of organizational support signifies the implementation of leadership has run according to the needs of the organization. Job satisfaction has adirect influence on the dependent variable Organization Citizenship Behavior. This makes the Organization Citizenship Behavior a new concept in performance systems because high employee performance creates a high quality of work. The purpose of this study was to determine the direct and indirect relationship between leadership and Organization Citizenship Behavior on employee performance through job satisfaction variables. The path analysis technique is used to testthe relationship between variables with the help of SPSS software. The primary data in this study were the results of the questionnaire related to the variables studied as many as 113 respondents from employees of PT. FIF Rantauprapat. The test results show leadershiphas no significant direct relationship to employee performance, whereas Organization Citizenship Behavior has a significant direct relationship to job satisfaction through employee performance variables because it has a p-value (0,000) smaller than the sig level (0,1)and has t-value (5,714) is greater than t-hit (1,96).

INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC & TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH VOLUME 8, ISSUE 06, JUNE 2019 Abstract: Diseases can be caused by consumption of contaminated food such as toxicant. Kerupuk are one of the traditional foods produced by some of the traditional industries in Jember. The objective of this study was to identify the content of borix acid and analyze hazards and determine the critical control points on tofu crackers. This could raise the traditional food safety for consumers. This study was a descriptive study conducted by interview and observation. Boric acid testing was carried out on five samples of kerupuk. Instrument sheets referred to the SNI CAC RCP1-2011. The results indicated that 100% of the samples contained boric acid. The selection of materials, slicing, drying and distribution were the control points while mixing and kneading, steaming, frying and packaging were the critical control point. Boric acid is still used on tofu kerupuk; therefore, the government should immediately provide information and training on sustainable traditional food industry to reduce the incidence of illness and food poisoning in traditional food.

Data mining itself is a method used to explore knowledge from a pile of data which so far has only been archived. While theclustering method itself is one method used to classify tendency, either the rought set method or k-means itself is used to find tendency or classify data. Both the method of rought set and k-means have the advantages of each according to needs. It is important to know what the advantages of eachmethod are before deciding to use which method to use

Security is very important in all aspects to protect data. Text messages on mobile phones, which is sms (short messages service) is one of theimportant data that needs a data security system. Data security is used to maintain the confidentiality of important data that we have on mobile devices. The encryption process is used so that messages cannot be read by other unwanted parties. While the decryption process is used so that the messagecan be read back by the intended party. Rivest Cryptography, Shamir, Adleman (RSA) is one of the asymmetric cryptographic algorithms that use a keypair, that is the public key and private key. The key length can be set, where the longer the key formation bit, the harder it is to solve because it is difficultto factor two very large numbers. This study applies the Rivest, Shamir, Adleman (RSA) algorithm for text message security applications based onAndroid. Based on the research that has been done, the author can draw conclusions, namely: Rivest, Shamir, Adleman (RSA) cryptographic algorithmcan be implemented for text message security Android based. So it is safer to exchange text messages (SMS) so that user privacy is guaranteed

Decision of running business is the result of interaction of several factors, namely the character of a person's personality and environmental influences. A family relationships, friends, relatives, educational environment, social rules in society and religious that can influence one's intentions running a business. Theory of Planned Behavior explains that the intention of doing online business among students is influenced by some variable such as attitudes, subjective norms, and perceive behavioral control. Furthermore, these three variables are influenced by several backgrounds which influence it, such as social, personal / individual background, and information. A number of research results show that the intention of doing online business for each students can vary depending on their social environment, age, gender, level of education, science, level of income, belief/ religion, or the influence of exposure to information which affects their experience, besides the influence of personality and the personal intellectuality of the student. Along with the rapid development of Social Networking Sites (SNS), social media, recently, has become a lifestyle for many people around the world, including in Indonesia. The data in January 2018 showed that in Indonesia out of 132.7 million internet users, almost all (131 million), or up 23% from the data in 2017, were Facebook users with the dominance of 18-24 years old, 35% of whom were the highest active users. The rapid growth of Facebook users annually in Indonesia, especially in the age of students and college students, encourages researchers to conduct many empirical studies of Facebook use among students. There is a tendency for using Facebook continuously to create FAD effects (Facebook Addiction Disorder) among students and can affect the spirit of learning. This study also discusses what is the motivation for using Facebook and seeing the potential for FAD to occur. In this study, an online survey over 375 respondents from several students in Labuhanbatu District was conducted. To explore respondents' motives in using Facebook, respondents were given questions that were divided into the following five motives: social interaction, leisure time, entertainment, friends, and communication. While to look for potential addiction, respondents were given questions using the Bergen Facebook Addiction (BFAD) scale. In getting a connection between the motives for using Facebook and Facebook Addiction, the data was tested by analysis of variants (ANOVA) and partial tests using SPSS software. The results obtained were 65.8% of participants were at a moderate level, while 20.3% were at a low level, and only 13.9% of participants were at a high level.
