Background: The ability to balance children at the age of development is very important to be reviewed, both in terms of balance sitting, standing, and walking. One of the factors that can cause balance disorders in children is musculoskeletal disorders in the form of deformity of the soles of the feet. The shape of the human foot is divided into three types, namely normal foot, pes planus and cavus foot according to the arcus structure or arches on the soles of the feet. Normally the arch is formed from the first 5 years with a 2-6 year age range. The critical period for arch formation is the age of 6 years (Campbell, 2012). In the early age of school there were 28% - 35% of children experiencing deformity of pes planus, 80% of which were categorized as "moderate". Methods: This research is a type of correlational research with a cross sectional design which aims to determine the relationship between pes planus and the dynamic balance in MI Nurul Karim Colomadu's students. The subjects used were grade 1-5 students with the condition of pes planus at MI Nurul Karim Colomadu, who had determined the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of subjects was 40 people with male and female sex from a total population of 92 people. Result: Using the Spearman Correlation Test Based on the table above, it is known that the value of p = 0.869 shows that there is no significant relationship between sex and dynamic balance. The value of r = 0.27 indicates the strength of the weak correlation. While the value of p = 0,000 shows there is a significant relationship between pes planus and dynamic balance. The value of r = -0,599 shows the strength of the medium correlation. Conclusion: One conclusion is 1. The prevalence of pes planus in girls is greater than that of boys, ie 16 boys and 24 girls have Pes Planus.

Background: The result of today's technological developments has stopped many people from natural exercise. Some of the jobs that exist, do not require us to move the body normally. If the jobs that exist do not make us move it will affect agility that will affect performance in carrying out activities. An description of agility is needed to identify the risk of decreased performance when doing activities in adolescents. Agility identification using an agility t test. Agility t test is a measuring instrument that has a reliability value of 0.98, good for measuring agility. The aim of the study was to identify the agility of the Hang Tuah 4 high school students in Surabaya. Method: The type of this research is descriptive, which is to describe the agility of the Hang Tuah 4 Surabaya high school students. Result: The average value of respondents' agility score is 19.66. All respondents have the category of poor agility. This is because most of the respondents in this study did not carry out routine exercise activities (53.1%). Sports activity is one of the factors that influence the improvement of agility. By carrying out routine sports activities, agility will be formed. Agility is a component that consists of aerobic endurance and muscle fitness, namely strength, muscle endurance and flexibility, reaction speed and motion, balance, power, and coordination. Interrelated components form an agility which is an important part of one's performance. Conclusion: To achieve this, the appropriate sports parameters are needed. One example is using the FIT principle, which includes: (1) Frequency of exercise 3 - 5 times a week, (2) Exercise intensity 60 - 90% of DNM, (3) Tempo / training duration 20 - 60 minutes in one practice time

Conclusion: The risk of falling has a very meaningful relationship with the fear of falling elderly at Panti Werdha Surabaya.","PeriodicalId":143536,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Keterapian Fisik","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-11-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129990246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
Abstract Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) provides evidence that there are hundreds of millions of people affected by life due to musculoskeletal disorders. Musculoskeletal disorders that are often found are flat foot or commonly called flat foot. In the treatment of flat foot, prosthetic orthotics can provide orthosis services in the form of medial arch support with sponge and plastic material, which aims to provide support to the plantaris area of the foot and restore the shape of the arch to the foot. Method: This type of research is Quasi Experiment with two groups design Pre Test and Post Test Design. The population in this study included students of grades 2-6 at SDN Gagaksipat 1, Ngemplak, Boyolali, Central Java. The number of samples is 28 students. Data collection techniques using the wetfootprint pre test and post test. Results : There is an effect of using medial arch support on the reduction of flatfoot degrees. These results can be seen from the results of Wilcoxon test, which is known below the p value = 0,000. Then if the value of p <0.05. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is an effect of medial use arh support for decreasing flatfoot degrees in children aged 8-12 years. From the results of the study it was found that there were 28 research samples that experienced a decrease in the degree of flatfoot.
