[The effect of aspirin and indomethacin on intracellular pH and on the activation of the Na+/H+ antiporter in neutrophils]. [阿司匹林和吲哚美辛对中性粒细胞胞内pH和Na+/H+反转运蛋白活化的影响]。

Using microfluorometry, aspirin and indomethacine effects on intracellular pH and Na+/H+ neutrophilic antiporter activation were studied. Aspirin and indomethacine were shown to decrease intracellular pH of quiescent neutrophil cells. Aspirin completely blocked basifying of cytoplasm, which is resulted from Na+/H+ neutrophilic antiporter activation.

A radioimmune method of AIDS diagnostics is proposed. Diphenylhydantoin sodium (diphenine sodium) is used as haptene in a probe. It binds to the T-cell membrane and has nonspecific influence on the cell surface. As a result the HIV receptor is blocked.

[The direct stimulating action of thyroliberin on the biosynthesis of total protein in cultured liver cells of rat fetuses]. [甲状腺素对培养大鼠胎儿肝细胞总蛋白生物合成的直接刺激作用]。

In experiments using fetal rat liver cultured cells TRH was shown to stimulate total protein synthesis but not RNA synthesis during long incubation. Somatostatin affected neither protein synthesis nor RNA synthesis in cultured liver cells. Possible physiological role of peripheral TRH during perinatal period in the rat is discussed.

Taftsine tetrapeptide has antiprocoagulatory properties in vitro in the presence of plasma. Taftsine exerts depolymerization influence on fibrin monomer in concentrations of 10(-1) to 10(-9) mg/ml. At intravenous injection in doses of 1 mg and 300 ug/kg, taftsine causes the increase in plasma clotting time and significant increase in enzymatic and nonenzymatic fibrinolysis. The effect can be observed during 120 min after injection of the peptide.

[An analysis of the distribution of clone cells in the retinal pigment epithelium from chimeric mice]. 嵌合小鼠视网膜色素上皮内克隆细胞分布分析。

The quantity of pigmented and unpigmented cells was estimated in the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) in ten newborn and five 20-days old aggregated chimaeric mice C/C----c/c. A strong correlation was shown in the proportion of cells of the paternal genotypes either in the whole RPE of right and left eyes or in its separate regions, i.e. dorsal, central, ventral. Random distribution was revealed in these RPE cells clones. A high correlation was shown between the number of RPE pigmented cells and percentage of coat pigmentation.

Immunomodulatory doses of cucumarioside, a complex of triterpene glycosides from holothurians, cause a delay of mitosis in lever cells and compensatory increase in mitotic activity. Triterpene glycosides can be considered as compounds that can regulate proliferative processes.

[Changes in the esterase activity and isoenzyme spectrum following the transplantation of embryonic nerve tissue into the brain of adult rats]. [胚胎神经组织移植入成年大鼠脑后酯酶活性和同工酶谱的变化]。

Nervous tissue of 17-days old rat embryos was transplanted into lateral ventricle of the brain of adult rats. 15 days after transplantation esterase activity was analyzed from transplant tissue and flanking regions of cerebral cortex. Isoenzymes were shown to activate their activity after embryonic tissue transplantation either in transplants or flanking regions. These changes result obviously from the effect of substances, synthesized by transplant.
