Banjarmasin city has the character of settlements along the river that reflects the concept of the authentic Banjar settlements on river banks as a product of Nusantara architecture’s. However, the existence of these settlements began to lose their existence due to changes in life orientation from river culture to landed culture. To restore the existence of these settlements, the government of Banjarmasin city plans to develop these settlements into tourist villages with Banjar culture. This encourages optimization of existing potential by improving the quality of settlements that pay attention to various aspects in the context of the location being developed, such as environmental damage, water quality, and applicable regulations. Although there are many design criteria related to riverbank settlements in Banjarmasin, there are some aspects that have been neglected such as the cultural aspects of urang Banjar which are related to the river and Islam. This has an impact on the quality of settlements that reduce the level of kinship in the Banjar community. By using a force-based framework, the design criteria will be formulated by applying a strategy of extending tradition. The design criteria produced, cover various design aspects that are closely related to activities, order, form, building construction, supporting elements, and circulation patterns to improve the quality of the settlement, so that it can develop into a self-sustaining area with food security, energy sources, and the conservation area of Banjar culture. Keywords—Banjar Culture, Conservation, Force BasedFramework, Nusantara Architecture’s, Tourism Village.

Abstrak — Indonesia consists of various diverse tribes and cultures. Culture is the result of people's thoughts and behavior. Culture can also act as the identity of a tribe that has its characteristics. The difference in characteristics is interesting to study, one of which is the culture of Aceh in Indonesia. Aceh is rich in cultural values and customs because of its historical background. Influences from various backgrounds eventually shaped the characteristics of Acehnese. The culture of Aceh has been discussed in several studies, but no one has focused on the context of settlement. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze aspects of Aceh's culture in a settlement. Cultural aspects can be analyzed based on world views, values, manifestations, activity systems, and social expressions. This study is a literature review, which uses secondary data to answer the research objectives. Secondary data were obtained from literature related to research topics, such as books, journals, regulations, etc. Furthermore, the data collected will be analyzed and concluded using descriptive analysis. The study results explain that every aspect of Aceh's culture refers to Islamic rules, where the balance between customary law and religious law is important for Acehnese lives.

The coastal area has an important role in supporting the community development and economics. The problem occurs when the tidal flooding has almost completely engulfed human activities for instance in human settlements. Tidal flooding has a negative impact on physical, social, economic, and environmental conditions, as an example the coastal settlement in Tanjung Mas Village. Tidal flood, in addition, can cause damage on infrastructure and housing areas, also, it has an impact to the live of communities, households, and individuals simultaneously. This research aims to examine on how to determine the vulnerability of community settlements to the danger of tidal flooding and how to build the adaptation efforts among the community to deal with tidal flooding disaster in order to keep the buildings and public facilities in safety. This research uses interview and observation methods, then, by using qualitative descriptive techniques to gain result underlined in the object research. The result shows that Kampong Tambak Lorok can be divided into 3 zones at high, medium and low. This zoning concept is obtained from flood vulnerability assessment related to the high of tidal flood, inundation duration and its impact. The first zone is represented by a high tidal flood with an average threat duration of inundation ranging from 3 to 5 hours. The depth of the tidal flooding can reach around 70-80 cm from the floor in a house. The second zone is represented by a medium tidal flooding with an average threat duration of inundation ranging from 3 to 4 hours. The depth of the Tidal Flood can reach around 50-60 cm from the floor. The third zone is a low tidal flooding with an average threat of inundation ranging from 0 to 1 hour. The problem of settlements on monetary and non-monetary factors lies in the economic capacity of the community which is classified as very low, affecting the value of expenditure for settlement needs. This has an impact on the response of the community in dealing with tidal flooding. Adaptation to settlements by elevating the level of floor in the house, changing the position of electricity, elevating the height of the house, making dykes on the front of the house and suctioning the flood by pump.

—The Irrigation Water Utilization Improvement Program (P3-TGAI) is a program implemented by the Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai Brantas (BBWS) which aims to improve irrigation networks by building tertiary/small canals. Kediri, Trenggalek, Tulungagung, Blitar are one of the regional packages that received the program. In the implementation of P3-TGAI in the area, there were problems with the completion of the program. Monitoring and controlling program are needed to ensure the implementation timeliness. Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis is a method used to estimate the minimum duration of a project by connecting each activity and determine the duration of each activity. This method is carried out through the stages of collecting secondary and primary data to identify internal and external factors that affect the speed of the program. Project management analysis method is used to approach the monitoring and controlling program so that it is timely. The expected result from CPM analysis is to get an optimal program design schedule for the implementation of P3-TGAI.

— Social and economic conditions affect people’s behavior and preference for housing and the selection of housing area and its design. People with higher economic and social conditions will choose a better quality of housing and the environment. This decision also influences housing preference for apartment design. The quality of the apartment is influenced by a healthy environment, the use of energy that is efficient and can be recycled, using the eco-design approach, and basic facilities are provided. This study focuses on design-based research for designing an apartment building that suits the preferences of middle and upper occupants with an ecological approach. In this study, middle and upper occupant preference determines the shape of the facade design in buildings. In order to determine design parameters and criteria, this study uses a literature review, data analysis, and architectural precedent study. The result finds that several aspects are synthesized and selected as general design criteria apartment buildings. The important parameters in the design of the facade of the building are attractive façade design and emphasize the changing color through vegetation design inside and surrounding the building facades at each season. The building is designed minimalist architecture with a neutral color selection that is combined with natural colors such as wood and stone. Parts of apartment facilities can also be accessed by the occupants easily. Placement of vegetation evenly gives the impression of being close to nature and provides relaxation for each occupant of the apartment building.

— In the mining industry, analyzing, and controlling the spare parts inventory is important activities and need special attention from the company. The high production cost of the mining industry, including spare parts and shortages costs affects the financial and operational aspects of the company. Spare parts inventory management policy is critical to increase the service level and minimize spare parts cost. In this mining case study, the out of stock incidents in the heavy equipment spare parts were often occurring and significantly affecting the performance of maintenance and operations. The purpose of this study is to determine minimum stock (safety stock) and maximum stock to reduce overstocks and reduce the number of stocks out in spare parts inventory and as well as inventory cost. The method used to solve the problem is economic order quantity (EOQ) and continuous review control (S, s) to determine the minimum and maximum stocks. Determining the combination of S and s has a major impact on the success of inventory control. Substitution parts are subdivided into alphabetical values to determine their significance. As a result of calculating inventory value using EOQ and S, s will get the highest inventory value to reduce inventory costs.

Abstrak —This work presents a case study focused on reducing the turn around time in the quality control process at Nickel processing plant, using Lean Thinking tools. The Nickel industry, the process is drying, reducting, smelting, and converting. This process needs to be controlled to get the optimal result, and the process needs to be controlled quickly. So the analysis data must be generated in a short time. They are recording time and activities from sampling until reporting the data carried out to analyze the current situation using value stream mapping to identify the main problem, such as high waiting times. The root cause of the main problem is sought by using the fishbone diagram and given an improvement suggestion according to the origins of the problem. The application of these improvements can reduce the analysis time in the quality control process by 98.52% of the total cycle time . Kata Kunci —Fishbone Value

In this competitive business era, Klinik Bunga Melati (KBM) has changed its business and management strategies 3 times in the last 2 years with the aim of adjusting internal and external conditions in the health sector and make KBM superior to other competitors. KBM expects the development of technology that can be applied efficiently and integrated between KBM internally. In 2018, KBM teamed up with the Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Kesehatan. In this regard, BPJS provides a Health Facilities Information System (HFIS) with the aim of making it easier for health units to make claims. But the leader of the KBM considers HFIS not suitable to be implemented in the KBM Welirang Branch. The KBM Welirang Branch staff must do 2x recapitulation of patient medical records every day. There are quite a lot of variables in HFIS besides self-data, staff must also write data related to diagnosis, details of drugs used, drug costs, and doctor's fees. Based on the KBM leaders interview, this is considered to be very time-consuming and costly because HR has to work 2x more and patients need more time to get action. HOT-Fit method is considered suitable for this research because this model can provide an explanation and provide an evaluation of the application a system in the field of health services from human factors (human), technology (technology), organization (organization) and net benefits. The output of this research is an analysis of aspects that need to be improved and the match rate of HFIS implementation in the KBM Welirang.

In urban areas, especially urban settlements, low thermal comfort at pedestrian height and the high use of building energy are two interrelated conditions. Geometry of built environment is a factor that correlates with thermal conditions of the location and comfort. Understanding how geometry of built environment affects conditions and thermal comfort can be the basis for improving thermal condition as well as increasing thermal comfort. This study examines the influence of urban settlement geometry to thermal conditions and thermal comfort of urban space. An experiment was carried out on ten blocks, consisting of two block models and two orientations: Blocks with Different Height-to-Width Ratio (H / W = 0.8-1.5-2.3) and Blocks with the Same Height-to-Width Ratio but With Different Left-Right Height (H / W = 1.5-1.5'-1.5 "), respectively in the North-South and East-West orientation. The ENVI-met 3.1 program was used to simulate the conditions and thermal comfort of the blocks in the hottest day conditions. The results of this study indicate the geometry of the urban settlement influences two factors or thermal environment, i.e., direct solar radiation reception or block irradiation duration and wind speed. Features of the geometry affecting the thermal conditions are angle of the sky opening and block's orientation towards incoming winds. These two features are regarded as the dominant factor influencing the overall thermal conditions and comfort of the settlement blocks. This study also confirms that hight-width (H/W) ratio as the main parameter governing thermal conditions and comfort of the block.
