Comparative study of the efficiency and power density of offshore WECS with three-phase AC-link 三相交流连接海上WECS效率和功率密度的比较研究

In this paper three converter topologies are compared for the AC-AC conversion stage of an offshore wind turbine with permanent magnet synchronous generator. The WECS (Wind Energy Conversion System) is based on four stages: an input filter, an AC-AC converter, a three-phase high-frequency transformer and a full-bridge diode rectifier. The conventional back-to-back converter, the matrix converter and the indirect matrix converter are the three selected topologies. Analytical models and numerical simulations are considered in order to evaluate the WECS efficiency and power density as a function of the operational frequency of the transformer. It was found that for range of transformer frequencies from 100[Hz] to 10[KHz], the direct matrix converter topology was the most efficient topology and had the highest power density. In general, the back-to-back converter topology presents the lowest efficiency and power density in the range of frequencies considered.

High step-up voltage gain integrated DC/DC converters 高升压增益集成DC/DC转换器

This paper presents a systematic methodology to generate high step-up voltage gain converters based on the combination of two standard DC/DC converters. The converters are combined so that their input sections are integrated reducing the converter component count. Their output sections are associated to derive three basic configurations, the series, the parallel and the cascade outputs. The paper presents as an example, the integration of the boost and flyback converters for which the voltage gain and efficiency in steady state are analyzed. Comparative experimental results among the three integrated boost-flyback laboratory prototypes are carried out. It shows that the Series-IBF and the Cascade-IBF present better and similar performance when compared to the Parallel-IBF converter.

Common DC link in residential LV network to improve the penetration level of Small-Scale Embedded Generators 住宅低压电网中常用直流链路,提高小型嵌入式发电机的渗透水平

This paper presents a new approach for network upgrading to improve the penetration level of Small Scale Generators in residential feeders. In this paper, it is proposed that a common DC link can be added to LV network to alleviate the negative impact of increased export power on AC lines, allowing customers to inject their surplus power with no restrictions to the common DC link. In addition, it is shown that the proposed approach can be a pathway from current AC network to future DC network.

One Cycle Control for photovoltaic module-integrated inverters 光伏组件集成逆变器的单周期控制

This paper presents a simple digital implementation of One Cycle Control used for regulating the current injected into the grid in photovoltaic micro-inverter applications. The digital implementation has been derived by the corresponding analog one by adopting a predictive estimation of the duty-cycle modulating signal. The dc/ac stage has been simulated and tested by using a laboratory prototype demonstrating the applicability of the proposed digital architecture.

Bond wire lift-off in IGBT modules due to thermomechanical induced stress 由于热机械引起的应力,IGBT模块中的键合线脱落

In this paper the bond wire lift-off failure mechanism experienced in insulated gate bipolar transistor modules, under realistic operation conditions, is investigated theoretically. This failure type is generally believed to be due to thermally induced stress arising from a mismatch in the coefficients of thermal expansion of the materials constituting the module. The theoretical evaluation is based on a finite element approach combined with empirical equations. Here the thermomechanical stress around the bond wire/substrate interface is evaluated. Based on the computations a new approach for characterizing degradation of bond wire junctions is proposed. From this function the lifetime as well as module performance may be evaluated for varying parameters: load, geometry etc.

Stator harmonic current suppression for DFIG wind power system under distorted grid voltage 电网电压畸变下DFIG风电系统定子谐波电流抑制

Effects of lower order harmonic grid voltage on the stator current of the Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) are investigated. A stator harmonic current control method for DFIG wind power system is presented to suppress the effects of the lower order harmonic grid voltage on the stator current. The proposed control scheme is analyzed using transfer function. The performance of the proposed control method is verified by both simulation and the experiment on a DFIG wind power system prototype.

Assessing the validity of a propose stability analysis method in a three phase system with constant power load 评估了一种三相系统恒负荷稳定性分析方法的有效性

This paper presents an analysis with nonlinear tools for stability in systems dominated by the interconnection of power electronics and supplied by distributed generation. Systems like renewable and not renewable energy sources can supply power to the micro-grid, and their loads can behave as CPL. Hence, the search of Hopf bifurcation points is used to prevent oscillations and instabilities in the system.

Electrical energy storage in Smart Grid: Black-start study using a real-time digital simulator 智能电网中的电能存储:使用实时数字模拟器的黑启动研究

The future development of modern electrical systems must to evolve towards Smart Grids. The Smart Grids context involves several players and automation functions, such as Distributed Generators with their related controls, Intelligent Load Management, Smart Metering, infrastructures for Electric Mobility, Energy Storage, etc. In particular an Energy Storage system favors the connection of renewable generators and can improve the network stability. Moreover it can be used to energize a portion of a grid in islanding operation in case of loss of mains. This function is so-called black-start. This paper analyzes the new Energy Storage system installed by Enel Distribuzione S.p.A. in the center of Italy into the “Isernia Pilot Project” on Smart Grids, for the operation in black-start mode. The study is performed using the RTDS real-time digital simulator, in order to qualify the best way to perform the blackstart.

A study on the effect of the Scott transformer on the three-phase unbalance in distribution network with single-phase generators 斯科特变压器对单相发电机配电网三相不平衡影响的研究

Global environmental problem and the resources problem are getting more important. It is expected that dispersed power systems are spread widely. On the other hand, the increase of the dispersed generators may cause the three-phase unbalance in a distribution network. This study focuses on the possibility of the Scott transformer to reduce the three-phase unbalance in the distribution system. The Scott transformer transforms three phases to two phases. It has been used as a feeding transformer in electric traction system. The difference of behavior between the distribution systems with the Scott transformer and the V-connected transformer is observed in simulation with PSIM. For the secondary side loads of the transformer, resistive loads and dispersed generations are given under the balanced/unbalanced three-phase condition. The simulation results show that the Scott transformer has a better effect on a current and a voltage balancing than the V-connected transformer.

Maximum power point tracking using boost converter input resistance control by means of Lambert W-Function 利用Lambert w函数控制升压变换器输入电阻的最大功率点跟踪

In this paper, the idea of controlling the input resistance of a switching power converter is proposed to track the maximum power point (MPP) of a photovoltaic (PV) module. To this end, we present a control technique based on a pseudoresistive input model of the boost converter operating in the discontinuous conduction mode (DCM). The proposed method estimates the PV resistance at the maximum power point during PV operation, by means of Lambert W-Function, which is used to control the input resistance of the converter for achieving maximum power transfer. Simulation results indicate that the PV system working under the proposed controller can successfully track different maximum power points under rapidly changing atmospheric conditions.
