Pressure dependence of field induced SDW states of (TMTSF)2ClO4 from the magnetoresistance at 1.5 K (TMTSF)2ClO4在1.5 K磁阻下场致SDW态的压力依赖性

We report magnetoresistance measurements for single crystals of the organic conductor (TMTSF) 2 ClO 4 at pressures up to 1.5 kbars, at 1.5 K in fields up to 11.4 T along the c*-direction. It is found that both the threshold field for the onset of the spin density wave (SDW) state and the other characteristic fields, which probably represent SDW-SDW transitions, increase strongly with pressure. We show how the recent experimental results concerning an electromechanical coupling in smectic C * can be obtained from the macroscopic dynamic equations derived by the authors. We point out that the coupling observed is a reversible dynamic cross coupling between the change in the polarization inside the layers and velocity gradients. The incommensurate phase appears between −106°C and −120.5°C, but in the −106 to −113°C temperature range, the incommensurate superstructure is double. Moreover the so-called «lock in» phase is already present at the normal-incommensurate transition: it appears from −102.5°C. These results are briefly discussed. The weak localization of waves is formulated in terms of coherent multiple scattering theory. This leads, in the backscattering direction, to an enhancement of the differential cross-section. It manifests itself macroscopically by the doubling of the backscattering intensity in a narrow cone of width φ c =λ/l•θ(Ω)/τ, where θ(Ω) is the residence time around the incident direction. The corrections to transport coefficients are then derived both in two and three dimensions in terms of φ c . An e-expansion around the lower critical dimension d c =2 is then performed and leads to a wave localization threshold for d>2 around which the critical behaviour is studied. Mechanical percolation : a small beam lattice study 机械渗透:小梁晶格的研究

We numerically study the degradation of the mechanical properties of a two dimensional square lattice of beams with rigid bond angles as a function of the elements removed at random (bond percolation problem). In order to limit the fluctuations due to the small sample sizes, the elastic modulus is plotted versus the electrical conductance on the same lattices. The results for weakly and strongly degraded lattices are consistent with EMA and mechanical percolation results. By varying the aspect ratio of the beam and, thus, the ratio of compressive to bending effects, we modify the ratio of overall bending to compressive energies which becomes critical near threshold Nous etudions numeriquement la degradation des proprietes mecaniques d'un reseau carre de barres (obtenu par perforations periodiques d'une plaque) avec des angles de liaison constants entre barres en fonction du nombre d'elements supprimes au hasard (probleme de percolation de liens). En vue de limiter les fluctuations dues a la petite taille des reseaux, on a evalue simultanement le module elastique et la conductance electrique en fonction du taux de degradation. Les resultats pour des faibles et pour des forts taux sont consistants respectivement avec les modeles de champ moyen et de percolation mecanique. En variant l'allongement des barres et, par suite, le rapport entre les effets de compression et de flexion, on modifie le rapport des energies associees a ces deux mecanismes, rapport qui devient critique au seuil de percolation
