To clarify gender differences in the status of patients suffering from stage 1 and 2 arterial hypertension, 80 patients of the second mature age suffering from arterial hypertension were examined. They were divided into 2 groups. The first included 44 patients with stage 1 arterial hypertension, and the second group included 36 patients with stage 2 of the disease. In both sexes, in the case of stage 1 arterial hypertension, the level of arterial pressure corresponds to stage 1. At stage 2, blood pressure values in men are at the level of 1 degree, and in women, they correspond to 2 degrees. The amounts of total cholesterol and cholesterol in the composition of low-density lipoproteins were above the normative level and prevailed in women of both groups. At the 1st stage of hypertension in women, there was a more pronounced imbalance in the amounts of thromboxane B 2 and 6-keto-prostaglandin F 1α , which was aggravated during the growth of the pathology stage. In men, glomerular filtration was preserved in both groups. From the very beginning of the disease in women, it was reduced, gradually worsening with the progression of the disease. The thickness of the vascular intima and copper in women already at stage 1 was higher than in men and increased with the severity of the pathology. It can be thought that in women, already during the formation of arterial hypertension, more obvious and rapidly developing negative changes in the body appear than in men

Covid-19 is a severe acute respiratory syndrome, the disease presents with a ranging from asymptomatic to severe symptomatic illness with multiple organ failure and death, and can cause a severe effect on the coagulation system. This study aimed to determine the effect of the covid 19 on the extrinsic and intrinsic pathway of coagulation [prothrombin time(PT), international normalized ratio (INR), and activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT)] and to determine the association of age and gender with the severity of COVID-19 in Sudan in order to improve the outcome. A cross-sectional study carried out among 487 COVID-19 patients attending Khartoum State. COVID-19 patients were confirmed by RT-PCR. For all patients, the prothrombin times (PT), International normalized ratio (INR), and Activated partial thromboplastin (APTT) were estimated by using a semi-automated coagulometer analyzer. Patients were divided into three subclass groups according to the Severity of COVID-19 (mild, severe in the emergency room) (ER) and intensive care unit (ICU), and the clotting factors values were compared between the groups. The results were statically analyzed by spss version 21 for data analysis. These results showed statistically significant increased Levels of PT, INR, and APTT for all (P. value = 0.000), compared to the control group. Also, the levels of coagulation tests were higher in ICU COVID-19 patients (P. value = 0.000) compared to mild and severe subgroups. This study concluded that: coagulation clotting times were increased in COVID-19 patients, especially among patients in ICU which could be a marker for DIC and even death.

In the study, the level of antibodies to fasciolas in the milk of cows in the Moscow region of Russia was assessed and the relationship between their number and the productive characteristics of these animals was traced. In October 2021, a milk sample was taken from a dairy farm in the Moscow region of Russia, and the number of antibodies to Fasciola hepatica (ODRf) and Ostertagia ostertagi (ODRo) was assessed. Their level was determined using multivariate linear regression models and their relationship with economically significant indicators was traced: the amount of protein in milk, the percentage of fat in milk, and the interval between past calving. An increase in the ODRf quartile from 25% (0.412) to 75% (0.976) was associated with a decrease in the volume of milk produced per year by 0.8 kg (day of the lactation process) (p=0.002), with a decrease in fat content in milk by 0.07 % (p<0.001), with an increase in the interval between sections by 4.6 days (p=0.04) in the absence of a significant relationship with the level of protein in milk. In the case of simultaneous infection with both parasites, the effect of ODRf and ODRo on the volume of milk produced was additional, rather than synergistic.

In the El-Oued region of the Algerian desert, tonsillitis, the most serious of infections, is cured with the common chameleon, Chamaeleo chamaeleon . Our study's main objective was to demonstrate its importance through aspirational science, in which we evaluated the aqueous extract of dry C.Chamaeleon powder's hemolysis, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties. After preparing dry, C.Chamaeleon powder was examined using a scanning electron microscope to detect metals. The aqueous extract was then analyzed with an infrared analyzer to determine the functional groups following extraction. We also examined the extract's capacity to induce hemolysis, its antibacterial activity against six bacterial strains, and its anti-inflammatory activity using the egg albumin denaturation method. The findings of the hemolysis assay showed low percentages at high doses until the ratio reaches 20.7% at 1 mg/ml, compared to sodium dodecyl sulfate, which showed very high rates of hemolysis in the presence of low concentrations up to 90% at 0.25 mg/ml, indicating that the extract is non-toxic to red blood cells. The anti-inflammatory activity test yielded good results and revealed ratios of 12.82%, 22.07%, and 38.2% for the extract at doses of 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mg/ml, respectively. And we also found that the extract was anti-all the bacterial strains studied at a dose of 100 mg/ml. According to the results of our study, C.Chamaeleon aqueous extract has significant medical value in treating infectious and inflammatory illnesses since it contains several minerals, peptides, and vitamins.
