This study aims to identify the features of clinical and immunological signs accompanying pathological changes caused by COVID-19 in moderate and severe diseases. To identify complications of acute respiratory disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, detected at autopsy. Retrospective analysis of the results of immunological and microbiological studies of 20 patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection who were treated in clinics of the city of Sumy in 2020-2021: Group 1: 25.0% with severe disease (mean age 62.1±2.1 years); Group 2: 75.0% with mild or asymptomatic disease (43.0±0.9 years). Analysis of 20 autopsy reports and inpatient medical records for deceased patients for the period from December 2020 to June 2021. The main morphological, clinical, and immunological changes detected in both groups are described, the changes in the body for acute respiratory viral infection SARS-CoV-2 in mild and severe forms of the disease are analyzed. The results of autopsies in severe COVID-19 that resulted in death are presented. The rapid spread of SARS-CoV-2 is caused by the antigenic variability of viruses under the influence of immune factors in the body of previously infected people and is associated with defects in the organization of medical care in medical institutions of the region and Ukraine as a whole, as well as with underfunding of the medical sector and health care

For centuries humans have been interested in using biologically active compounds of animal origin to supplement their diets and to prevent and treat diseases. Nowadays, many extracts are produced to ensure the availability of dietary supplements to consumers worldwide. However, with the population constantly growing, there is a need to develop more effective extraction methods that can enable producers to supply the global market with high-quality products. In this paper, we study the structures and the chemical compositions of antler extracts prepared with antlers of the Altai wapiti and the Tundra Reindeer and compare conventional percolation with a circular (recurring) percolation method that involves multiple, repeated usage of the solvent. We also examine the concentration of the solvent. We argue that circular percolation provides dietary supplement producers with more opportunities, as with this method, the obtained extract is richer in biologically active compounds. The findings of the study can be of interest to dietary supplement producers.

Laboratory staff is always exposed to a variety of hazards according to their work nature and so, they must be conscious at all times. This study is aimed at the assessment of safety awareness to get knowledge attitude and practice among governmental medical laboratory staff in Khartoum state. A descriptive cross-sectional study performed on 210 Sudanese governmental medical laboratory staff working in 15 governmental hospitals lab. Data was collected by direct interviews using structured, pretested, closed ending questions, coded and designed by researcher questionnaire developed, and validated using universal guidelines data analyzed by using the statistical package of social science (SPSS). The study result shows that there is good awareness in some of the safety awareness domains and weakness in others, the result of the comparison of the laboratory specialist scores mean and laboratory assistant scores mean to show that there is a significant difference between them and also there is no significant difference between mean scores of BSc holder and MSc holder medical laboratory specialist, correlation and association result shows that there is a strong negative correlation between experience and scores in medical laboratory specialist and weak negative correlation between experience and scores in medical laboratory assistant. Relative weakness in medical laboratory safety awareness was revealed, which reinforce health authorities, the administration of medical laboratory, universities, and hospitals must intensify courses and training programs about medical laboratory safety and establish functional and active, and well-implemented occupational safety policy systems that will be supervised by safety officers.

The work aimed to analyze the intensity of H3-type citrus in the blood of women with genital and breast cancer. Group 1 included 90 women with cancerous tumors of the uterus (26), ovaries (30), malignant neoplasms of the cervix (10), and mammary glands (24). Group 2 included 66 women who had benign tumors in the same locations. Heston levels were determined by the immunoassay method. Group 1 showed an elevated concentration of histone (from 1.4 to 2.1 ng per 1 ml), and Group 2 was normal (0.3-0.4 ng per 1 ml). Depending on the diagnosis, the concentration of citrules in patients with breast cancer was 0.3-0.9 ng per 1 ml, in those with ovarian cancer 1.3-2.1 ng per 1 ml, and in those with uterine cancer 2.2-3.0 ng per 1 ml. The parameters of C-reactive protein and D-dimer concentration were also increased at higher values of histone concentration. Increased content of neutrophils, and platelets. The presence of increased ketosis activity was found in women in group 1, with a diagnosis of uterine and ovarian cancer.

Producers of Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) are reported to stay at different ecological niches that are exposed naturally or accidentally to high organic matter or growth-limiting conditions like wastes from pulp and paper mills, wastes from dairy, wastes from agriculture, sites contaminated by hydrocarbons, treatment plants releasing activated sludges, rhizosphere, and effluents from industries. Extracellular secondary products such as rhamnolipids, polymeric substances as well as biohydrogen gas are also produced by a few among them. These microbes can produce valuable bioproducts like PHA with the simultaneous usage of waste materials having various origins as substrate and for this reason, these types of microbes are industrially important candidates in regard to production. An economical method could be the separation of the secondary products (intracellular and extracellular) by the implementation of an integrated system. Different microorganisms living under various environmental conditions that stimulate the microorganisms to store carbon as polyhydroxyalkanoates granules have been discussed in this review. We have also discussed various metabolites that are produced concurrently with PHA.

Neuro-stimulating exercises used in non-standard combinations make it possible to mitigate the consequences of cognitive deviations in post-COVID syndrome. The combination of eastern health practices and situations of uncertainty created in team sports contribute to the restoration of the body in the shortest possible time, maintaining physical performance, improving concentration, reducing anxiety, and restoring psychological comfort for a long time. The purpose of the current study was to find new methods and means of physical culture, which stimulate the acceleration of body recovery, and the elimination of postcovid syndrome among students. The research tools were international experience in the use of neuro-stimulating physical exercises in everyday practice. The pedagogical experiment was carried out in 2021-2022 at the Russian University of Transport. The testing in May 2022 has shown a significant increase in indicators in the experimental group. There was a decrease in situational anxiety (31.12%), personal anxiety (20.15%), and depression level (38.69%) among the students of the experimental group. At the end of the study, there was a significant improvement in the psychophysical state of the students. Among the students of the experimental group, there were not found any symptoms of the post-COVID syndrome in May 2022. The results obtained in the current study can serve as a basis for further research involving various groups of people and using more advanced technologies and research tools.
