Isolation and Characterization of Acetoacetic Bacteria from Decomposed Fruits 腐烂果实中醋酸细菌的分离与鉴定

Acetic Acid Bacteria (AAB) are rod shaped, aerobic, and gram-negative bacteria. These have ability to oxidize ethanol to acetic acid and are used in vinegar production.The aim of this study was to isolate and identify the acetic acid bacteria which are capable of growing at 30-40oC, temperature generally prevalent in this area for most of the year. Microorganisms were isolated from decomposed fruits like banana, pear, and orange obtained from local vegetable market. We used specific culture media viz.isolation, enrichment and peptone agar media. The samples were inoculated in sterilized GYC standard media and then incubated at 30°C for 48 hours. Successive subculture was performed to screen out the strains. In Gram’s staining, the morphology of the isolated bacteria exhibited pink and rod shaped. Various biochemical tests of the isolated strain like starch hydrolysis,methyl red,and ketogenesiswere positive, while starch hydrolysis and cellulose test were negative which revealed that the strain isolated from decomposed fruits were acetic acid bacteria. The study indicated that all the strains grew well at pH 5-6 and temperature28oCto30oC.

Synthesis, Characterization and Antimicrobial Evaluation of Ru(II) and Co(III) Complexes of Phenylene-1,2-bis(iminoflavone) Derivatives 苯基1,2-双亚胺黄酮衍生物Ru(II)和Co(III)配合物的合成、表征及抗菌评价

Bioactive ruthenium and cobalt scaffolds of molecular formula [Ru(PPh3)2L] and [Co(H2O)Cl L] {where L represents the tetradentate ligands (E)-4-((2-((E)-(3-hydroxy-2-(4-substitutedphenyl)-4a,8a-dihydro-4Hchromen-4-ylidene)amino)phenyl)imino)-2-(4-substituted phenyl)-4H-chromen-3-ol (phenylenebis(iminoflavone)} have been synthesized from Ru(II) precursor [Ru(PPh3)4Cl2] and CoCl2.3H2O and phenylenebis(iminoflavone). Tetradentate ligands of flavone (phenylenebis(iminoflavone)) have been derived by the condensation of 3-hydroxy-2(4-substitutedphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one with o-phenylenediamine. These ligands and scaffolds were characterized by elemental analysis, NMR, IR, ESI-MS, UV-Visible spectrometry, and conductometric measurement. These ligands and scaffolds were screened the in vitro toxicity for antimicrobial activity against the growth of bacterial species Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi and fungal species Candida albicans and Aspergillus flavus.

Applications of Silver Nanoparticles: A Review 纳米银的应用研究进展

Nanotechnology is the most acclaimed art of science in recent times. It deals with the structure of matter having dimensions ranging to a billionth of a meter. Nanotechnology studies the exclusive properties of an element from the core of its size and shape to be exploited for the benefit of science and technology. Silver (Ag) a transition metal, has evolved from its ornamental value, to application in various fields of science and technology with its nano scale profile (nanometer: nm) as Silver nano particles (Ag-NPs).The present paper discusses a brief insight on silver metal, having documentation of its beneficial applications in traditional Chinese and Indian Ayurvedas since 1000BC.

To Study Characterization and Antibacterial Activity of Bacteriocin Producing Lactobacillus Isolated from Curd 从凝乳中分离的产菌素乳杆菌的特性及抑菌活性研究

The present study is carried out with the lactic acid bacteria isolation and identification such as Lactobacillus fermentum from curd sample. Five isolates of Lactobacilli supernatant is examined for acid and antibacterial activity production. The extracted compound showed antibacterial activity against the microorganisms. Lactobacillus fermentum showed better antimicrobial activity. Antibacterial activities LAB are dietary supplements of live microorganisms thought to be healthy for the host organisms. In this study, lactic acid bacteria are isolated from 2 different curd samples. A total of 20 strains are studied for their characterization, from that 2 potential strains Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus plantarum isolated from curd. The potential strains are studied by curd production, antibacterial and bactericidal activity also their antibiotic susceptibility. The quality of curd is analyzed by qualitatively and quantitatively by nutrient evaluation. The antibiotic resistance of potential strain is studied using the good resistance activity to the antibiotics. The curd produced by those strains has good quality and quantity of nutrients.

Analytical Method Development and Validation for Estimation of Metformin in Bulk and Pharmaceutical Dosage Form by UV Spectrometric Method 紫外光谱法测定原料药和制剂中二甲双胍的分析方法的建立与验证

A rapid, simple, selective and precise UVVisible Spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of metformin hydrochloride in bulk forms and tablet dosage formulations. The spectrophotometric detection was as per carried out at an absorption maximum of 232 nm using phosphate buffer of pH 6.8 as solvent. The method was validated for specificity, linearity, accuracy, precision, robustness and ruggedness. The detector response for was linear over the selected concentration range 2 to 12μg/ml with a correlation coefficient of 0.994. The accuracy was carried out as per recovery study and found between 99.1 % to 100.45%. The results demonstrated that the excipients in the tablets did not interfere with the method and can be conveniently employed for routine quality control analysis of metformin in bulk and formulation.

Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Screening of Quinoline Linked Oxadiazole Derivatives as Potent Antibacterial Agents 喹啉连接恶二唑类强效抗菌药物的合成、表征及生物学筛选

A series of ten derivatives of quinolin-8-yl[(5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)sulfanyl]acetate was designed and derived through various steps. The structures of synthesized compounds were determined by IR, H NMR and Mass spectroscopy analyses. The antibacterial strength of synthesized compounds was evaluated by using bacterial strains Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli where the study data reveals that some of the compounds have good antibacterial potential.

Development of a High Performance Liquid Chromatography Method for the Determination of Related Substances in a Liposomal Nano Pharmaceutical Using Quality by Design Approach 用质量设计法建立高效液相色谱法测定脂质体纳米药物中有关物质的方法

This study presents the development of gradient reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of Doxorubicin hydrochloride and its five impurities following Quality by Design (QbD) approach and also to identify the conditions where adequate separation quality in minimal analysis duration could be achieved within a robust region that guarantees the stability of method performance. The relationship between critical process parameters and critical quality attributes is created applying Design of Experiments methodology. The defined mathematical models and central composite design are used to evaluate the risk of uncertainty in models prediction and concerns in adjusting the process parameters and to identify the design space. Moreover, Box-Behnkan design is applied for experimental robustness testing and method is partially validated to verify the adequacy of selected optimal conditions. The analytical column Waters X-bridge C18 (250 mm x 4.6 mm, 5μm particle size); mobile phase A consisted of buffer (100 mM Sodium dodecyl sulphate and 22mM of Orthophosphoric acid , pH adjusted to 2.5 with 1 M sodium hydroxide solution), acetonitrile and methanol (60:30:10) v/v/v; mobile phase B consisted of Buffer, acetonitrile and methanol (30:60:10),column temperature 40oC, mobile phase flow rate 1 mL min, wavelength of detection 254 nm..

Nutritional Influence (Spirulina) of Biochemical and Obese Stress Patients 生化和肥胖应激患者营养对螺旋藻的影响

Spirulina platens is the cyanobaceteria, otherwise known as blue green alga is common in fresh water bodies generally found in alkaline saline water. Spirulina is significantly effective not only in keeping good health but also in improving various symptoms of disease. Spirulina ash contained a number of inorganic and organic, sodium, potassium, phosphorus and vitamin A, Vitamin E (tocophyrol), Vitamin B12 and B6 etc. like complexes. Subject’s obesity patients were 100 patients, 50 male and 50 female candidates for 45 days. Initially before start the methodology primary observation and anthropometric measurement were would be taken and WHR (waist and hip ratio), Blood pressure, Hb, hypercholestemia, Diabetic, PCOD, menopause, stress with obesity subjects for 100 patients age around 18 to 70 years both male and female. Subjects were divided in 2 groups according gender male female patients data. As per results they were reduced 3 kg weight and improved sleeping quality also. Spirulina LTryptophan is naturally found in animal and plant, it is very essential amino acid because its protein building block. It is very essential amino acid and body cannot make it so it must require in food. Tryptophan is important for the development and functioning of many organism of the body. After absorbing L-tryptophan from food, our bodies convert it to 5HPT (5 hydroxytryptophane) and then to serotonin, melatonin and vitamin B6 (nicotinamide). Serotonin is a hormone that transmits signals between nerve cells. It’s also causes blood vessels to narrow change in the level of serotonin in the brain can alter mood and feel like satisfaction and satiety. Melatonin is playing important part for sleep and vitamin B6 is essential for metabolism.
