productive tool for conceptualizing and verbalizing knowledge, is of great interest to Ukrainian and foreign scholars, this fact is proved by a variety of scientific studies of conceptual metaphor. The proposed article highlights the issue of metaphorical representation of the concept of the ISLAMIC WORLD . The focus is made on the sociomorphic metaphors, which simulate reality through the prism of various social spheres of human life and, in fact, it is a kind of anthropomorphic metaphor. The material of the research is selected texts of American newspaper articles (2001 - 2021) devoted to the issue of the Islamic world and its interaction with the Western world in general and the United States in particular. In the course of scientific research we managed to single out the following sociomorphic metaphorical models: “ISLAMIC WORLD – IS EVIL”, “ISLAMIC – WORLD

The article is devoted to the architecture and construction German-language terminology modeling in the thesaurus form as a unified system-based multilevel classification structure, which covers all terms of the homogeneous professional activity sphere. Achieving the goal involves organizing a continuous German LSP architecture and construction terms and term compounds sample, highlighting the key term and modeling its semantic field, compiling a possible logical-semantic relationships list between concepts expressed in terms of architecture and construction based on them, semantic network as different semantic relationships within the thesaurus types. The architecture and construction German LSP lexical composition analysis, carried out in the thesaurus modeling framework, showed that the studied terminology has 6108 terms and term compounds, among them 4760 terms are nouns, 420 – verbs, 116 – adjectives. The sample also includes 58 adjectives (participles) and 8 words from other parts of speech. The total terms number is 742, which indicates a tendency to use analytical constructions in professional communication area. The German LSP architecture and construction terminology has a complex multilevel structure with its own system connections and interaction between the individual links. The key concept of logical-conceptual modeling is the term Architektur, the meaning of which indicates the interdisciplinarity of the knowledge proposed field. Other terms are grouped around the key concept on the of logical-conceptual relations basis of hyper-hyponymy, subcontracting (partial, synonymous, correlation, associative), as well as relations concerning the localization of the object, its purpose, function, ways of expressing the function, etc. (8626 relationships, combined into 18 types). Most terms are covered by paradigmatic semantic relations genus – species, part – whole, synonymy. In general, architecture and construction German terminology thesaurus modeling method is effective in solving problems of formalizing the certain terminological objects semantics, their systematization and unification. This is especially important in the educational information thesauri development, which serve as a linguodidactic tool for the future architect and builder professional competence formation. Such data network representation has not only purely applied value, but also allows to get deeper into logical architecture and construction terms relations, to model the analyzed terminological system more precisely.

of characters with a post-positivist type of worldview; he perceives reality as fully as possible and analyzes it in order to achieve life success. The memory specifics make it possible to remember a large details number and facts. The genre pattern theory is an important scholar’s literary achievement criticism, which offers a new look at the periodization principles at cultural-historical periods, in particular in terms of the transition from postmodernism to post-postmodernism. Mystery, like carnival, realizes itself in the discourse of the contemporary British novel through a modification genre that provides the connection with the mysterious core pattern (the rebirth motive, moral growth; meanings search that brings the character closer to the “spiritual” sphere, moral transformation from “sinful” to “redeemed” and “purified”). The author has analyzed the views of various scholars on the patterns theory in cultural studies and psychology, as well as has outlined the methodological perspective of the theory for literary criticism. For the first time, “The Truth about These Strange Times” is analyzed in the post-postmodern paradigm worldviews (medicalization of the narrative, revealing a special type of memory and consciousness of the characters, their rationalization of reality and its perception in the post-positivist aspect) and aesthetic guidelines.
