A Wi-Fi-based indoor positioning algorithm with mitigating the influence of NLOS 一种基于wi - fi的室内定位算法

Indoor positioning has been getting more attention of researchers for academic as well as industrial point of view. However, because the propagation of Wi-Fi signals is greatly affected by the serious NLOS (non-line-of sight) effect for indoor environment. Therefore, the accuracy measure is deteriorated due to random NLOS effect in indoor wireless communication. In this paper, we propose a localization algorithm which is different from existing algorithms because no priori knowledge is required about NLOS conditions when working with the proposed algorithm. It utilizes both TOA (time-of-arrival) and received-signal-strength (RSS) measurements to get an optimized range of data based on the difference of two geometric area. And, then substitute this optimized data into the triangle centroid algorithm to perform positioning operation. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can efficiently reduce the error due to NLOS effect and achieve higher accuracy of localization as compared to other conventional algorithms.

A DC-20GHz attenuator design with RF MEMS technologies and distributed attenuation networks 基于RF MEMS技术和分布式衰减网络的DC-20GHz衰减器设计

In this paper we presented a design of 4 bit attenuator with RF MEMS switches and distributed attenuation networks. The substrate of this attenuator is high resistance silicon and the TaN thin film is used as resistors. RF MEMS switches have excellent microwave properties to reduce the insertion loss of attenuator and increase the insulation. Distributed attenuation networks employed as fixed attenuators have the advantages of smaller size and better performance in comparison to conventional π or T-type fixed attenuators. Over DC-20GHz, the simulation results show the attenuation flatness of 1.52-1.65dB and the attenuation range of 15.35-17.02dB. The minimum attenuation is 0.44-1.96dB in the interesting frequency range. The size of the attenuator is 2152 × 7500μm2.

A novel fingerprinting positioning approach in urban cellular networks 一种新的城市蜂窝网络指纹定位方法

In recent years, location-based services have become a fundamental application in smartphones. This kind of service can be applied in many fields, e.g., navigation, security, advertising, social networks, etc. The aim of this paper is to study the received signal strength-based fingerprinting positioning system in urban cellular networks. We investigate several classification algorithms through simulations. Furthermore, a new positioning method based on k-nearest neighbors has been proposed. This method was developed as a good solution for the design of hardware location systems, and to ensure a real time application.

Uplink resource sharing of multiple D2D links underlaying cellular networks 蜂窝网络下多条D2D链路的上行链路资源共享

Cellular network assisted device-to-device (D2D) communication relies on efficient resource sharing strategies between cellular users (CUs) and D2D users. This paper investigates uplink resource sharing between multiple D2D links and CUs. Upon guaranteeing the quality of normal cellular communication, we try to explore the full benefit of D2D communication by allowing multiple D2D links to share the same spectrum resource made available by the CU, which, however, leads to a difficult nonconvex optimization problem. We propose an efficient algorithm to jointly optimize the transmit powers of the D2D links and the CUs. The superiority of the proposed resource sharing strategy is demonstrated through numerical examples.

Research of 3D face recognition algorithm based on deep learning stacked denoising autoencoder theory 基于深度学习叠加去噪自编码器理论的三维人脸识别算法研究

This electronic Due to the fact that the 3D face depth data have more information, the 3D face recognition is attracting more and more attention in the machine learning area. Firstly, this paper selects 30 feature points from the 113 feature points of Candide-3 face model to characterize face, which improves the efficiency of recognition algorithm obviously without affecting the recognition accuracy. With the significant advantage of the characterization of essential features by learning a deep nonlinear network, this paper presents a stacked denoising autoencoder algorithm model based on deep learning which improves neural networks model. This algorithm conducts the unsupervised preliminary training of face depth data and the supervised training to fine-tuning the network which is better than neural network's random initialization. The experiment indicates that compared with real face data, the reconstruction face model has a small matching error by using SDAE algorithm and it achieves an excellent face recognition effect.

A new all-digital phase-locked loop based on single CPLD 一种基于单CPLD的全数字锁相环

With the development of digital circuit technology, digital phase-locked loop (DPLL) has been widely applied. But regard to the existing DPLL systems, both the range of the locked phase and the running speed can't meet the needs of the application in reality. The heart of the matter is the constraint of algorithm and structure. In order to improve the performance, we present a new all-digital phase-locked loop (ADPLL) in this paper. We adopted frequency tracking algorithm and phase tracking algorithm to composite frequency multiplying signal and phase-locked signal in a way similar to the DDS. All algorithms were loaded into a single CPLD. The CPLD which was customized to a DPLL has a good performance in the tests. Compared to the current ones, this one locks phase faster and the frequency range of the input signal is wider.

Ultra-wideband signal is suitable for wireless positioning. Energy-based TOA estimation algorithm is a promising approach for low cost and low complexity applications. To improve the accuracy of TOA estimation in multi-path environments, a two step algorithm for energy collection receiver is proposed. The positioning algorithm using the ToA estimation is simulated in the paper.

Deploying an Ad-Hoc computing cluster overlaid on top of public desktops 部署覆盖在公共桌面之上的Ad-Hoc计算集群

A computer laboratory is often a homogeneous environment, in which the computers have the same hardware and software settings. Conducting system tests in this laboratory environment is quite challenging, as the laboratory is supposed to be shared with regular classes. This manuscript details the use of desktop virtualization to deploy dynamically a virtual cluster for testing and ad-hoc purposes. The virtual cluster can support an environment completely different from the physical environment and provide application isolation essential for separating the testing environment from the regular class activities. Windows 7 OS was running in the host desktops, and VMware Workstation was employed as the desktop virtualization manager. The deployed virtual cluster comprised virtual desktops installed with Ubuntu Desktop Linux OS. Lightweight applications using VMware VIX library and shell scripts were developed and employed to manage job submission to the virtual cluster. Evaluations on the virtual cluster's deployment show that we can leverage on desktop virtualization to quickly and dynamically deploy a testing environment while exploiting the underutilized compute resources.

An improved HCCA mechanism for safety critical real time system 安全关键实时系统的改进HCCA机制

This paper aims to use WLAN protocol to support the transmission of hard-real-time(HRT) traffic stream (TS) in safety critical real time system(SCRTS). Firstly, this paper analyzes the reference scheduling mechanism for IEEE 802.11e to guarantee quality of service (QoS)and discuss the drawback of the sample scheduling algorithm for IEEE 802.11e Hybrid Coordination Function(HCF) controlled channel access(HCCA) mechanism under the background of HRT application. And then, this paper advances an improved scheduling algorithm for HRT traffic stream which sets up the messages HRT attribute and adjust the transmission opportunity dynamically, aiming to guarantee HRT messages QoS. Finally, the improved algorithm is implemented based on NS2 and the simulation result shows the optimized algorithm can improve the HRT traffic QoS effectively.

A low complexity measurement method for beam-forming network based on DS-CDMA 一种基于DS-CDMA波束形成网络的低复杂度测量方法

High performance spatial signal processing relies on accurate beam-forming. In a practical antenna system, due to inevitable aging and heat distortion of the components, there exists an inconsistency between the designed Beam-forming Network (BFN) Weighted Matrix (WM) and the actual value of it. However, the complexity of BFN WM measurement is in direct ratio to the channel numbers of BFN. For large-scale phased array antennas, the measurement of the BFN WM requires burdensome work. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a novel efficient WM measurement method for BFN based on Direct Sequence-Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA), which significantly reduces the complexity of the test by multi-port testing and parallel signal processing. Moreover, benefiting from the correlation characteristics of Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) signals, the measurement precision of the proposed method achieves 0.038 in amplitude and 0.511 in phase. This paper also discusses selections of DSSS codes. By borrowing the concept of Multi-User Detection (MUD), we proposed a special de-correlation algorithm to solve the problem of using non-orthogonal codes. Hardware implementation and practical tests have strongly demonstrated the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed method.
