This study aims to analyze the factors affecting the continuity intention and loyalty in using Alodokter services. This research uses quantitative approach with a total of 375 respondents who have used Alodokter at least once. The data is processed and analyzed using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) method and SmartPLS version 3 tools. The result of this study indicates that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, satisfaction, and trust in application affect continuance intention of using Alodokter services, as well as satisfaction and trust in application affect loyalty of using Alodokter services.

In game development, Procedural Content Generation is an approach that replaces the designer’s task in creating contents of games, e.g., game maps. We introduce an incremental learning process that utilizes Inductive Learning (IL) of Answer Set Programs (ASP) to automate solving maps generation problems rather than to explicitly specify the characteristics of the maps. In an incremental learning process, a complex learning task is divided into a sequence of learning iterations, where each iteration consists of a set of smaller learning tasks to learn a set of rules. In order to speed up the learning process, each task in the same iteration is solved asynchronously. Our experiments show that IL of ASP successfully learns an answer set program. That is, it provides a set of rules for generating a collection of game maps that possess the same characteristics as the maps referred in the learning scenario.

Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is a system and therapy in the medical field that works based on knowledge, abilities, and practice. CAM is used to maintain health, diagnose disease, or to prevent and treat mental and physical illness. This technique can predict and treat disease. At the same time, machine learning has been widely used in the application of the biomedical field as a tool for diagnosing disease. The purpose of this work is to validate the use of iridology as a valid scientific technique to diagnose diabetes disease. Iridology combined with machine learning to simplify the diagnose process. Iris images were captured using Camera Iriscope Iris Analyzer Iridology. The region of interest (ROI) was cropped according to the location of the pancreas organ on iridology chart. The Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix method has been implemented for feature extraction. Five different classifiers method is used to classify diabetic and non-diabetic classes. The results are then validated and evaluated by using the k-fold cross-validation and confusion matrix, respectively. The subject consisted of two groups: one was 16 subjects non-diabetic and 11 subjects diabetic. The results show that the best accuracy is 85.6%, with specificity is 0.90, and the sensitivity is 0.80.

Internet of things (IoT) and the availability of personal devices give many choices for people to learn everything, anytime, and anywhere by connecting to the Internet. This condition changes all aspects of learning environment: spaces, contents, processes, assessment, and skills. It brings a vision of Smart Learning Environments (SLE) as the concept of applying smart environment to expand the learning environment, which can enhance learning processes by integrating smart technology and pedagogy aspects. This research uses qualitative synthesis by classifying SLE research topics to obtain SLE dimensions. Our SLE’s conceptual model consists of multi-dimension of SLE, both internal and external factors of learning. The multi-dimensional model in SLE includes smart learning (SmL), smart pedagogy (SmP), and smart supporting system (SmS). This result is essential to design a learning environment that can be arranged by learners. They can utilize all conditions and devices according to personal needs, anywhere, anytime, and anyhow by considering aspects of pedagogy.

Aspect extraction in aspect-based sentiment analysis has become a very challenging and important study today. One of the aspect extraction approaches is based on language rules (grammar). Language rules on most methods are manually determined, so they are more vulnerable to error. In this paper, we propose a rule learning method for aspect extraction using the Sequential Covering algorithm. The language features used are part-of-speech, dependency and constituent parse tree from each review sentence. This method generates rules starting from the simplest rule with a length of dependency relationship 1 to a certain length of dependency. Tests are carried out on several datasets with different domains. The test results show that this method succeeded in increasing f-measure aspect extraction compared to the baseline.

Adaptive interface has become one of the possible ways to consider a variety of users characteristic in managing the design process. By focusing on the skill of each user, this research showed the beginner-advanced user model of adaptive design can be able to recover the incapability of universal design. The study is objected to look up a new paradigm of universal design that should meet an adaptive design based on users skill characteristics, supported by eye-tracking evaluation. We develop a model of an interface design by using a case study of Student Centered E-Learning Environment (SCELE) Faculy of Computer Science, Universitas Indonesia with rapid contextual design (RCD) methodology. By using Eye Tribe tool, the proposed model proved the significance of beginner and advanced users’ model through the differences behavior while doing the task. Based on the result, we conclude that adaptive design can be developed based on users skill characteristics over a universal design.

Rumah Belajar is a free web-based application which can be used as a supplementary learning platform for students in Indonesia. Since its release, there has not been any research on its usability. To increase the satisfaction and comfort of the users, research about usability, evaluation is needed. This research is conducted to better understand the user needs and analyze the flaws of the application. Evaluation was done using a questionnaire and a system usability scale as the quantitative method along with usability testing and a contextual interview as the qualitative method. Through the user-centered design, research involved the users to make sure that the application is aligned with the users’ expectations. The results of the research suggest that the usability of the Rumah Belajar application needs to be improved. The design is made in the form of a prototype that will solve the raised issues. The designed prototype was tested on the users through usability testing. After being tested, the new suggested design could solve the majority of the usability issues.

Dekoruma is an Indonesia-based home and living e-Commerce with an urgency to improve the quality of service and shopping experience for its customers. This study is conducted to evaluate usability aspects of Dekoruma’s current e-Commerce site and propose an alternative design to improve the usability. The methods used for data collection and analysis in this study are the mixed method approach, and the alternative design development is conducted using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The quantitative data are collected through online questionnaires addressing users’ demographic data and behavior in using Dekoruma website and System Usability Scale. Usability testing is conducted to collect qualitative data directly from end-users. Identified usability problems are mapped to relate interface design principles. Proposed solutions are built into a high fidelity prototype as the end result. The usability testing of the alternative design shows that most of the proposed solutions are able to solve usability problems encountered beforehand. Further improvement is still needed on product filter and product detail features.

Website owners in industry have been successfully using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve the visibility of their websites in search engine. Despite this, its use in research in understanding information supply and demand in internet has been very scarce. Our contribution is a methodology about the techniques for keyword preparation that are used in SEO called geo-targeted keyword and discuss the potential. In addition to it, we use the method to study about the demand and supply of information of health services and facilities in Jakarta. Furthermore, the data obtained from this method is used to analyze the performance of hospital websites in Jakarta to fulfill the need for such information compared to the emerging competitors, e.g. health startup websites. Our experiment shows a positive correlation between information supply and demand about health but the performance of hospital websites are weakly correlated with the information demand (Abstract).
