Introduction: Many physiological problems and issues may threaten the general health of the elderly. On the other hand, the prevalence of mental disorders and depression increases in the elderly. This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between general health and depression in the elderly. methods: The current study was a descriptive-correlational cross-sectional study that was conducted on 420 elderly people living in urban and rural areas of Zanjan city in 2019. The statistical sample was selected by random-cluster sampling method. The research tools were demographic information questionnaire, Goldberg and Hiller general health questionnaire and depression questionnaire in the elderly. Spssv25 software was used to analyze the results at a significance level of 0.05. Results: The results showed a direct and significant relationship between marital status and depression in the elderly (P=0.017); The component of impairment in social functioning had a negative and significant relationship, and other components of general health (physical symptoms, symptoms of anxiety and insomnia, symptoms of depression and suicidal tendencies) showed a positive and statistically significant relationship with depression in the elderly. (P ≥ 0.001) Conclusion: improving the social relations of the elderly and creating suitable employment for their age, such as movement activities in the form of teamwork and group work, is effective in preventing frustration and depression as well as maintaining their independence.

Introduction:Today, one of the most common health problems in the world is iron deficiency anemia. The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of family-centered care program implementation on fatigue and depression of teenage girls suffering from iron deficiency anemia. Family-centered care is a method that is controlled through mutually beneficial partnerships between caregivers, patients, and families. Family-centered care is systematically organized so that the dynamics and complexities of different aspects of individuals and families are taken into consideration. Methods: The present study is a quasi-experimental study of a practical type that was conducted in 1399 with the selection of 70 adolescent girls with iron deficiency anemia studying in high school in Mahmudabad through non-random sampling. Research tools include Questionnaire. After collecting the information obtained from the pre-intervention stage, the family-centered care program for the sample adolescents in the performance test group. It was performed three month after the intervention. The obtained data were analyzed using Paired-Samples T Test. Results: The comparison of the total score of fatigue and depression of adolescent girls with iron deficiency anemia before and after the intervention in the test group showed a significant difference in the direction of decreasing scores (P<0.001), but there was no significant difference in the control group (P> 0.05). Comparison of total fatigue scores of adolescent girls with iron deficiency anemia before and after the intervention in the experimental group showed a significant difference in reducing scores (P < 0.001), but in the control group, there was no significant difference (P = 0.182); Also, comparison of total depression scores of adolescent girls with iron deficiency anemia before and after the intervention in the experimental group showed a significant difference in reducing scores (P < 0.001), but in the control group, there was no significant difference (P=0.667). Conclusions: The results showed that the rate of fatigue and depression in adolescent girls with iron deficiency anemia who receive a family-centered care program has decreased compared to the control group.

Introduction: Patients who receive a liver transplant will face various limitations and challenges during their lives, which they often do not have enough information about and which affect the quality of life of patients. The use of health applications is increasing. The aim of this study is to identify the educational needs for designing an application program for liver recipient patients. Methods: This was a Practical study that was conducted in a descriptive method. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire, whose validity and reliability were checked and confirmed. The research community was gastroenterology and liver specialists, and 18 people were purposefully selected from among the specialists working in the liver clinic of Motahari and Abu Ali Sina Organ Transplantation Hospital in Shiraz. Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics with SPSS version 23. Results: Educational items were determined in the form of 10 main axes. The results showed that among the main concepts of the disease, most of the necessary cases were recognized. However, items including liquids, types of exercise, skin cancer, cytomegalovirus symptoms, swallowing stimulants and spicy substances, correct brushing were not deemed necessary. Conclusion: educational needs in the form of transplant drugs, nutrition, exercise, cancer, cytomegalovirus, gastrointestinal complications after liver transplantation, diabetes, oral and dental care, motherhood, sexuality, were determined, considering the emphasis on the patient's participation in his health. And the use of the application program, determining the educational needs of transplant patients increases awareness and better management of the disease.

Introduction: Schools are safe places in the training of human, and they play a very important role in providing a healthy and cheerful life for students. Therefore, these places should be ideal from view of health and safety. The aim of this study was to investigate the environmental health status of schools in Jiroft city accordance with national unifying plan in 2019. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study, took a census on 99 schools of Jiroft in the 2019. For gathering the data, the standard school inspection checklist of the Ministry of Health was used. The data were collected by referring to schools and via viewing and interview with officials. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 22 software. Results: The results for the both urban and rural schools revealed that the highest health status was food hygiene (100%), and lowest score was related to safety status for rural schools (50%). The health status of tools and equipment was 84.61% for both urban and rural schools, while building health status in urban schools and rural schools were 87.5% and 71.87% respectively. Conclusion: According to the results, the environmental health and safety status of schools in Jiroft city was evaluated as favorable. The indicators of food, personal, tools and equipment hygiene in urban and rural schools, as well as the safety index in urban schools, were highly favorable. In general, in the investigation of the indicators of this research, 85.8% of schools were evaluated favorably in terms of environmental health and safety indicators. To increase the percentage of the environmental health and safety indicators, the coordination of related organizations in health and education is necessary.

Introduction: Considering the role of green schools in maintaining the health of the environment, optimizing energy consumption, increasing the quality of indoor spaces, reducing pollution and promoting learning in students and that another aspect of the quality of life related to the health of adolescents is the school environment, in this study We investigated the level of compliance of girls' first secondary schools in Yazd city with the indicators of green schools and its relationship with the quality of life of students. Methods: The design of this study is descriptive-cross-sectional which was carried out in 2020 and its sampling was done in a two-stage cluster by randomly selecting 11 schools in the first district and 13 schools in the second education district and then randomly selecting 11 students from each school. (264 students) and Anderson and Brook (2000) quality of life questionnaire was distributed electronically among students. And the questionnaire of green schools, some of the questions of which were evaluated by observation and by the researcher, and in some other school officials and teachers were asked to answer the questions based on the information they have about their school. The data was analyzed by SPSS software version 23 and the significance level was considered less than 0.05. Results: The results of the independent t-test showed that the overall quality of life score has no statistically significant difference with the grade of the green school (p-value=0.722), and in general, the average score of the dimension of negative emotions from the dimensions of the quality of life has a statistically significant difference with the grade of the green school. has (p-value = 0.033). Also, the average score of the emotions dimension of the dimensions of quality of life was higher in grade 2 green schools compared to grade 3 green schools. Considering this point, it is necessary to pay special attention to grade 3 green schools. Conclusion: According to the results, the green rating of schools helps to improve the dimension of negative emotions from the dimensions of quality of life, so it is suggested that by taking advantage of private sector investment, support and government policies, it can improve the green rating of schools and improve the quality of life of students

Introduction: Musculoskeletal discomforts are the most common occupational diseases of nurses. In this context, the present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on anxiety sensitivity and alexithymia in nurses with chronic low back pain. Methods: The present research method was semi-experimental and its design was pre-test-post-test with the control group. The study's statistical population included nurses suffering from chronic low back pain in Tehran in 2019. The study sample includes 30 nurses with low back pain who were selected using the available sampling method and randomly assigned to two experimental groups and a control group. The collection tool included anxiety sensitivity and alexithymia questionnaires. The experimental group received eight 90-minute sessions of therapy based on acceptance and commitment, but the control group did not receive any intervention. Results: The results of the present study showed that treatment based on acceptance and commitment in nurses with chronic low back pain significantly reduces anxiety sensitivity (physical, cognitive and social) and alexithymia (difficulty in identifying emotions, difficulty in describing emotions, and external thinking) (P< 0.01). Conclusion: Based on the findings, it can be concluded that treatment based on acceptance and commitment has been able to reduce the psychological problems of nurses with chronic low back pain. For this purpose, it is suggested to hold workshops and programs by psychologists and pain specialists for nurses with chronic low back pain.

Introduction: Research on the quality of teaching in schools is one of the most important issues, which on one hand is a suitable feedback for the analysis of educational issues, basic decisions and strategic planning at the disposal of officials and those involved in education and on the other hand, knowing the quality of their performance during teaching, teachers will be able to improve their teaching methods and, as a result, increase the quality of their teaching. Here our aim was developing a model for improving the quality of education in Ahvaz secondary schools based on the data theory of the foundation. Methods: This research was practical according to the purpose and the method of study was qualitative.The statistical population was a group of experts including teachers and principals of secondary schools and specialists and experts in the field of education. The interview method was used to collect research data. In the current research, the reliability was done through "checking by participants or interviewees". In addition, in order to confirm and validate the findings of the optimal situation, an interview was conducted with seven educational experts, and the information obtained from the interview process and the quality and depth of the data were confirmed by the group of relevant experts. In this research, the data theory analysis method of the foundation was discussed for the categorization of the interviews. Results: 185 concepts were obtained by classifying these concepts into 23 sub-categories and in the central coding stage, 10 main categories were classified including: :teachers, management and schools, school organization, school environment, school facilities, curriculum content, credits, satisfaction level, academic progress and academic motivation,and finally, in the advanced coding stage, the categories revealed in the form of 6 dimensions of the paradigm model, with the relationships which are included in the pattern. Conclusion: The obtained strategic conditions indicated the existence of two important strategies including school budget and satisfaction level, two important consequences of progress and academic motivation to improve the quality of education of students.

Introduction:Health literacy is among the most critical factors affecting breast cancer survival. This study was designed and implemented with the aim of determining the level of health literacy and its predictors in women with breast cancer referring to university teaching hospitals and Javadolaeme Clinic in Kerman in 2021. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on women with breast cancer referred to university teaching hospitals and Javadolaeme Clinic in Kerman city in 2021. To collect data, a self-administered questionnaire including the demographic profile of the patients, and the valid and reliable Persian version of the health literacy of Iranian women with breast cancer (HELBA: Health Literacy of Breast Cancer for Adults) was used. The questionnaire was entered into SPSS version 20 software and analyzed. Results: In this study, nearly 15.3% of participants had low health literacy. According to the univariate logistic regression model, the health literacy level of the study participants had a significant relationship with all the demographic variables included in the study except the age of the spouse (P<0.05). In the multivariate logistic regression model, only the spouse's education level had a significant relationship with the health literacy of the participants in the study. The chance of having health literacy was 4.33 times and 5.87 times (more likely in participants with spouses with a diploma level of education and participants with spouses with a university education than in participants with spouses with education below a diploma. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the level of health literacy in many women with breast cancer is sufficient, however, educational planning should be done to improve the level of literacy in this group, especially emphasizing the health literacy of the spouses.

Introduction: Generation of waste, on the one hand, and recycling it, on the other hand, are the most important challenges of waste management. Regarding this approach, waste segregation of the source by households is the most suitable and affordable component in the waste management. This study was conducted in Yazd city with the aim of determining the household's awareness, attitude, and performance of households toward waste segregation and related ecological factors. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study carried out in 2019 on 386 households in Yazd city. They were selected by simple random sampling. Data were collected thorough a researcher-made questionnaire. Non-parametric, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests were also used to investigate the relationship between ecological factors and awareness, attitude and performance. All analyses were done in spss-24 software considering a significance level of 5% Results: 53.6% of the households segregated their recyclable waste. Among the ecological factors included in this research, factors such as family member's cooperation, sufficient space allocated for waste storage, paying attention to environment's protection, informing on the exact collection time for garbage, regular garbage collection by municipality, waiting time regarding garbage collection, and execution time of garbage collection, and providing regular education by municipal authorities had a significant relationship with people's participation in waste segregation. Conclusion: The level of awareness, attitude and performance of Yazd citizens regarding the waste segregation at the source is medium, and the ecological factors are effective in this regard. More education is recommended to attract the participation of citizens and entrust important and sensitive parts of waste management to private companies and institutions.

Introduction: The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the quality of life and its predictive factors in patients with occupational hand eczema. Methods: In this cross-sectional-analytical study, 244 patients with occupational hand eczema were examined through convenience sampling. The tools of data collection included the standard questionnaire of quality of life index in skin diseases (DLQI) and visual analog scale (VAS). Data analysis was done by Stata14 and the raw and adjusted odds ratio (OR) with a 95% confidence interval (95% CI) was reported. Results: 46.7% had severe eczema. Multivariable logistic regression model showed the age over 30 (OR=5.40; CI 95%: 2.92 – 9.98), female gender (OR=2.02 ; ; CI 95% : 1.14 – 3.06), housekeeping (OR=5.25 ; CI 95% : 1.94 – 14.24), work experience over 5 years (OR=4.59 ; CI 95% : 2.13 – 9.85), working more than 8 hours (OR=4.71 ; CI 95% : 2.57 – 8.62) and severity of hand eczema (OR=2.14 ; ; CI 95% : 1.28 – 2.56) were the most important predictors of low life quality in patients with hand eczema (P-value>0.05). Conclusion: Hand eczema has a significant effect on the life quality of most patients; therefore, designing and implementing care and preventive programs considering the above-mentioned factors are necessary to improve the quality of life regarding these patients.
