Introduction: The high prevalence of the Covid-19 disease and its rapid infection, the imposition of restrictions, and the high mortality had many negative effects on the psychological and social aspects of bereaved families. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of group counseling to deal with grief caused by Covid-19 regarding mournful women in Yazd. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design and a control group. The statistical population consisted of women with grief experience over losing their husbands due to Covid-19 in 2021. Through available sampling method, 30 participants were selected and randomly divided into experimental and control groups. Data was collected through Grief Experience Questionnaire (GEQ) by Barrett and Scott (1998). Moreover, the package of confrontation with mourning, a lived experience of mourning women in Yazd (Kalantari et al., 2021), was performed on the experimental group for ten 90-minute sessions. Covariance with repeated measurements and SPSS version 26 software were used in data analysis. Results: The research findings showed that the average score of grief experience in the experimental group was significantly lower than control group in posttest droup (p<0.001). Group training and intervention program could improve mourning experience in the experimental group compared to the control group in bereaved women. Conclusion: Educational intervention based on lived experience of mourning women in Yazd can be used as one of the effective methods to improve mourning experience.

Introduction: Mental health of the medical staff as care providers has a significant impact on the quality of service delivery. Accordingly, happiness is considered one of the important components of mental health. Considering the importance of mental health for medical staff, especially during COVID19, the present study is designed and carried out with the aim of investigating the level of happiness and associated job factors among hospital staff. Methods: This was a cross-sectional and analytical study conducted on 280 people from the teaching, research and treatment staff of Kowsar hospital in Semnan through census in 2019. To collect data, a checklist including demographic and occupational variables was used along with Oxford Happiness Questionnaire by Hills and Argyle (2002). After that, relevant data were analyzed through SPSS26 software. Results: The mean and standard deviation regarding age of the personnel were 53.53 ± 8.09, 62.1% of whom were women. 47.5% were in low status, and only 10% were in high status in terms of happiness score distribution. People in the age group of 51 to 60 (P >0.001), PhD graduates (P<0.001), working doctors (P<0.001), official workers (P=0.008), personnel with fixed work shifts (P <0.001), personnel who do not need to work overtime (P =0.044), people with good interaction with colleagues (P <0.001), and employees with good job satisfaction (P<0.001), had a good or excellent happiness status. Conclusion: Most of the medical personnel working in the hospital did not have an optimal level of happiness; therefore, it is recommended that authorities design and implement programs to improve the level of happiness by focusing on the related factors.

Introduction: Due to the spread of COVID-19, hemodialysis patients experience substantial stress and anxiety regarding post-treatment care after hemodialysis and kidney transplants. This study aims comparison of depression, anxiety, and stress among hemodialysis and kidney transplant patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods:The statistical population of this descriptive-cross-sectional study included 206 hemodialysis and kidney transplant patients in the special disease center of Birjand city. Eligible patients were selected in a targeted way in 2021 and 2022. The data collection tool included demographic information form and psychological distress questionnaire. SPSS version 20 was used to analyze the collected data using descriptive and inferential statistics. A significance level of less than 0.05 was considered significant Results:The average scores of depression, anxiety and stress in the kidney transplant group were higher than the hemodialysis group (p<0.001). Depression, anxiety and stress had no significant relationship with the variables of age, income, sex, marriage and place of residence (p>0.05). Conclusion: The level of depression, anxiety and stress in the kidney transplant group was higher than that of the hemodialysis group, which can be attributed to the concern of the kidney transplant group about rejecting the transplant after contracting the corona virus, and measures are taken to increase the awareness of patients so that they can avoid contracting the disease. prevent illness and future problems

Introduction: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic progressive disease related to the central nervous system, which affects the patients' quality of life. Several factors play the roles of facilitators and inhibitors concerning the life quality of these patients. This study aims to explain the facilitating and inhibiting factors with regard to the life quality of MS patients. Methods: The present study was conducted through a conventional content analysis approach. Through purposive sampling and semi-structured interviews, 18 MS patients referring to the Isfahan MS Association were selected. Data collection continued until data saturation was reached. For data management, MAXQDA-10 software was used. Results: Through content analysis of the interviews, 4 main categories and 15 sub-categories were identified. The main categories included personal facilitators (leisure time and coping strategies), interpersonal facilitators (exercise therapy, social support and social organizations), interpersonal inhibitors (physical problems, psychological disorders, uncertain future, functional limitations, losing job and poverty) ,and environmental inhibitors (disease and treatment process, caregivers' fatigue, insufficient information about MS, family tensions, and fun and entertainment). Conclusion: According to the results of the current research, by taking measures such as providing educational and psychological services for patients and their caregivers, appropriate insurance coverage, easy access to drugs, especially foreign ones with reasonable tariffs, social and financial support, raising the society's awareness regarding this disease and developing an appropriate urban texture can help to improve the quality of life in MS patients.
