The problems of «electromagnet-rotor» control system design based on standard PID controller architecture and control resource estimation with respect to disturbances on rotational rotor are under consideration. Basis for building management systems have served to simplify the mathematical description and the possibility of aligning the structure of the variant with separate management for each electromagnet. Magnetically suspended rotational rotor control system simulation results present the possibility of qualitative dynamic and static characteristics accomplishment.

The DC and RF performance of the fully Cu/Ge metalized GaAs pHEMT and pHEMT with Cu/Ge ohmic contacts and Ti/Mo/Cu based T-gate were investigated. The Cu/Ge compound was formed by the atomic hydrogen treatment of Cu/Ge/GaAs two layer system. It was found, that such processing in an atomic hydrogen flow with density 1015 at. cm2 s−1 at room temperature during 5 min leads to the solid state interdiffusion of Cu and Ge thin films and polycrystalline CuGe compound formation with the vertically oriented grains. The fully Cu/Ge metalized pHEMT with 170 nm T-gate had a saturation drain current of Idss = 660 mA/mm, off-state gatedrain breakdown of BVgd = 7 V and a transconductance peak Sm = 380 mS/mm at Vds= 3 V. The maximum stable gain of the fully Cu/Ge based pHEMT was about 17,5 dB at frequency 10 GHz and the current gain cut-off frequency was about 80 GHz at Uds = 3V and Ids = 1/4Idss. The transistor with Cu/Ge ohmic contacts and Ti/Mo/Cu based 170 nm T-gate had a worse DC and RF parameters. The thermal stability test of both GaAs pHEMTs was performed in nitrogen environment at a temperature T = 250 °C for a period 5–120 min. The gold free fully Cu/Ge-metalized pHEMT fabricated with an atomic hydrogen treatment demonstrated superior thermal stability performance than the pHEMT with Cu/Ge ohmic contacts and Ti/Mo/Cu T-gate fabricated without atomic hydrogen treatment. The experimental results allow to consider the CuGe compounds, as perspective gold replacement in the GaAs MMIC production.

SMS has a variety of advantages and disadvantages for M-Commerce purpose. The advantages are easy to use, common messaging tool among consumers, works across all wireless operators, affordable for mobile users, no specific software required for installation, allows banks and financial institutions to provide real-time information to consumers & employees, stored messages can be accessed without a network connection. Most important disadvantage of SMS so it does not offer a secure environment for confidential data during transmission and there is no standard procedure to certify the SMS sender. There is a need for an end to end SMS Encryption with errorless message transmission in order to provide a secure with error free data transmission for communication. These two factors are important for SMS. Till now there is no such scheme that provides complete solutions. The transmission of an SMS in GSM network is not secure at all. Therefore it is desirable to fully secure with errorless SMS for business purposes. Both these two issues are researched and dealt separately with sufficient literature available. However these solutions were dealt separately till now. In this paper, we have analyzed about Joint Channel Coding and Cryptography (JCCC), Soft Input Decryption (SID). We theoretically proposed a novel scheme XTR — NR Signature algorithm in this paper. We are expecting that it will improve the current security level, fastest speed and provide reliable message recovery at receiver end with respect to key generation, encryption decryption, signing and verification and small key size for SMS application in any kind of mobile device.

This paper presents a method to design a predictive controller for a Rotational Inverted Pendulum (RIP) system. The design goal is to balance the pendulum in the inverted position. After linearization, the model of RIP system is transformed to a linear polytopic system with bounded disturbances and a new robust model predictive control (RMPC) strategy is developed for this system. Simulation results are presented to show the robustness of the closed-loop system against parameter variations and disturbances. The proposed method can be considered as a promising way for control of various similar nonlinear systems.

A new method of control for high-voltage Full Bridge Series-Parallel Resonant (FBSPR) DC-DC converter with capacitive output filter, using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) is proposed in this paper. The output voltage regulation obtained via high switching frequency and Soft switching operation (ZCS and ZVS technologies) to decrease the losses and optimize the efficiency of converter. In the following sections, a Small-Signal Model of FBSPR converter on base of first harmonic analysis and the generalized averaging method is derived. Then the obtained model is used to simulate the dynamic behavior of real converter using Matlab software. It was also used to obtain ideal control signals which are the desired ANN inputs and outputs and were saved as a training data set. The data set is then used to train the ANN to mimic the behavior of the ideal controller. In fact the ANN controller is trained according to the small signal model of converter and the ideal operating points. To compare the performances of simulated and practical ANN controller, a prototype is designed and implemented. The prototype is tested for step changes in both output load and reference voltage at steady state and under transient conditions. Comparison between experimental and simulations show a very good agreement and the reliability of ANN based controllers.

Results of research of near-surface layer of aluminum oxide ceramics substrates for microwave hybrid IC's (MHIC's) are presented. Layers were produced by treatment of laser beam (1.06 μm wavelength) exposure — laser treatment (LT). The composition and structure of near-surface layer were researched by methods of electron microscopy and IR Fourier spectroscopy. It was shown that in case of LT the chevron texture occurred as a result of ceramics melting with near-surface layer stoichiometry violation sideways deficiency in oxygen. There were researched mechanical properties of modified layers by method of microhardness indentation with use of Vickers diamond pyramid. It was established that destruction viscosity factor increases up to 6% at the expense of compressing elastic stress occurrence due to processes of melting and crystallization.
