Based on the modern informational approach suggested by the author, the main phases of technical vision (sensing, perception, and conception) are considered from a perspective of technical emulsion of natural vision. These phases of video-information estimation interpreted as interaction-measurements of the low (middle), high and ultra-high hierarchy level are correlated to the corresponding psychological concepts of the intellectual mechanism of natural vision.

This paper deals with the design of a bio-inspired fish like underwater vehicle. As the applications of underwater robots grow, finding efficient propulsion techniques is of the utmost importance. The current research has focused on the use of biomimetic propulsion, which simulates the undulation of fish tail, i.e. the sinusoidal oscillation. The objective is to mimic the propulsion technique of the BCF mode carangiform swimming style to swim efficiently over large distances at impressive speeds. Beginning from the CAD construction in Solidworks, 3D motion simulations in Matlab VRML and open-loop experimental and simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.

This paper describes in particular Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) applicable in Mobile Satellite Communications (MSC) connecting Mobile Earth Stations (MES) via Land Earth Stations (LES). However, in satellite communication systems, as a rule, especially in MSC many users are active at the same time. The problem of simultaneous communications between many single or multipoint mobile satellite users, however, can be solved by using Multiple Access (MA) technique. Since the resources of the systems such as the transmitting power and the bandwidth are limited, it is advisable to use the channels with complete charge and to create a different MA to the channel, such as example of the described CDMA. This generates a problem of summation and separation of Radio Frequency (RF) signals in the transmission and reception parts, respectively. Deciding this problem consists in the development of orthogonal channels of transmission in order to divide signals from various users unambiguously on the reception part.

The new lattice of frequency-selective surface (FSS) with a triangular arrangement of hexagonal elements for high-precision antennas GLONASS/GPS is presented. In the high-precision navigation systems necessary to reduce the effect of multipath interference. Typically, bulky and heavy choke ring structures have been used to reduce the effect of multipath interference. The antenna presented here consists of a microstrip patch antenna immersed in a frequency selective surface. FSS substrate reduces the effects of multipath interference by blocking the propagation of surface waves and, consequently, reduces multipath interference. The hexagonal shape of the FSS elements is selected based on polarization of the antenna, a good axial ratio in the operating frequency band L1 is shown. The advantage of printed FSS substrates is that they can be realized in low-weight, low-price, and low-profile fashion.

Results of experiments for the observation of surface electromagnetic waves (SEWs) in the decameter range (10 and 15 MHz) excited by a vertical dipole and propagating above the ice-coated surface of a salt lake over a distance of up to 1.2 km are considered. It is shown that the SEW decays much more weakly than the “ground” ray. An analysis of the field of radiation from the vertical dipole reveals the presence of a wave with an amplitude decaying with the distance R approximately as 1/R1/2, which corresponds to the SEW divergence. The absolute values of the radiation attenuation function |W| are significantly greater than unity and reach |W| = 2, which also corresponds to the SEW. Experimental data on the SEW damping agree with the results of numerical calculations of the electromagnetic field in the system under consideration.

In this work is investigated nonlinear communication between contours of nonlinear resonator, defined by functions of communication, entering into mathematical model of nonlinear parametrical zone system. By means of modelling computer programs the behaviour of nonlinear functions of communication, entering into mathematical models — the differential equations with periodic coefficients is established. Interaction between contour of rating and oscillations of resonant contour of system in higher zones of instability is analyzed. Influence of asymmetry of system on behaviour of communication functions is found out. It is established, that the more percent of asymmetry of system, the less the parametrical mechanism of exchange by energy of external force (rating) with resonant contour is shown.

One of research objects within theory of nonlinear oscillations is the laws of parametrical resonance in higher zones of oscillations instability. Perspective, but yet poorly studied direction in creation of radioelectronic means of the future, is the design of radioelectronic devices on the basis of resonant schemes on higher harmonics in higher zones of instability of oscillations. It is established that nonlinear parametrical zone system can generate the higher harmonics at enough small attenuation. The system attenuation less, the more number of zones of excitation it is, and that raised oscillations have bigger amplitude. The more strongly non-linearity, the is more quantity of zones of excitation and the richer choice of harmonics in which the designing devices on the basis of nonlinear parametrical zone systems can function.
