An Experimental Investigation on Vegetable Oils as a Cutting Fluid under Minimum Quantity Lubrication: A Sustainable Machining Approach 最小润滑条件下植物油作为切削液的实验研究:一种可持续加工方法

Cutting fluid is a vital part of the machining process. Cutting fluid is significantly applied to lower the friction and heat generated in the machining zone. It also helps in easy chip removal, protection against oxidation, tool life improvement, and an overall improvement in the quality of the product. The current industrial practices are majorly emphasized on mineral-based oil application under flood lubrication to achieve superior quality. However, these oils and techniques are toxic and environmentally unfriendly. Machining under dry or with minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) has been mostly preferred to eliminate the use of abundant oil. The current research work has established the promising potential for vegetable oils as a cutting fluid under MQL during turning of AISI 4130 steel. The results inferred that vegetable-based cutting fluids performed better over mineral-based cutting fluids in terms of lower values of machined surface roughness, tool wear, cutting forces, and chip-tool interface temperature. The MQL machining performance in terms of cutting forces, surface roughness and tool life has been observed better in comparison to machining under flood and dry cutting conditions.

Simulation Study of Ignition Characteristics of Impinging Sprays in Constant Volume Chamber 定容室中撞击喷雾点火特性的仿真研究

The present study involves the simulation of a constant volume, non-premixed, hot surface spray combustion of diesel fuel for a given set of injection pressure, compressed air pressure (cylinder air pressure) and hot surface temperature (hot plate temperature) and their effects on ignition delay period. Fuel injection pressure was varied from 100 bar 300 bar in steps of 100 bar, cylinder air pressure in the range of 20 bar to 40 bar (in steps of 10 bar) and hot surface temperature from 623 K to 723 K (50 K steps). The problem was solved using 2D axisymmetric geometry. A structured mesh of about 1.24 lac nodal points was created and tested for grid independency. For solving flow behavior, a pressure solver was used with a turbulence model of k-ε with enhanced wall functions. While a volumetric eddy dissipation model was used to solve combustion phenomena. Ignition delay period was calculated with the help of static temperature versus time plot. It is found that keeping any two operating parameters constant, third operating parameter is inversely proportional to ignition delay period. The results of the present simulation study are in a fairly good agreement with the experimental studies at same operating conditions.

The world is changing not only because of people’s way of thinking but also the increasing innovative technology. At first which seemed impossible is now both possible and safer. The enhanced technology has helped us make our life happier, better, faster and even safer. Increasing enriching technology is creating new era for science, medicine, luxury and many more things. We have witnessed progressing innovations which are helping us deal with the things human alone can’t deal with! As of the current scenario we are already aware of and that is the pandemic: covid-19. Due to the recent scenario of pandemic, things have gotten pretty different. Some may have adapted to it and living accordingly while others are still in the state of fear. The only pillar standing between the illness and healthiness is “taking precautions”. . If we want to get out of the state of the fear and live peacefully again in worse cases possible, it will always be necessary to take all the necessary precautions.

The Impact of Using Celebrities in Advertising on the Purchasing Behavior of Consumers /Analytical Study about Consumers Opinions. Sample from Baghdad 名人广告对消费者购买行为的影响/消费者意见分析研究来自巴格达的样本

The study aimed to identify the effect of the use of celebrities in advertisements on the purchasing behavior of consumers, and to achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire consisting of three axes was used. The first includes the personal data of the sample (gender, age, academic achievement, place of residence), while the second axis includes criteria for the use of celebrities in Ads, while the third axis includes the consumer purchasing behavior variable, and the validity of the tool was verified using the validity of the arbitrators, data were analyzed using SAS statistical program. The study concluded that there is a significant correlation between the use of celebrities in advertisements and the purchasing behavior of consumers. There is a significant effect of the independent variable (the use of celebrities in advertisements in terms of (credibility, attractiveness, vector meanings)) on the dependent variable (the purchasing behavior of consumers).The study recommends a set of recommendations, including the need to pay attention to the selection of celebrities who meet the basic criteria in terms of credibility, attractiveness and their ability to convey the necessary information from the product, in addition to pay attention to the content of the advertisement in terms of credibility and compatibility with the culture of consumers in order to push them to trust in the advertising message.

Enhancing the Engineering Properties of Indian Black Cotton Soil with Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Ash – A Review 城市生活垃圾焚烧灰增强印度黑棉土工程性能研究进展

The present study is the review of work carried out by various researchers on the improvement of engineering properties of expansive soils namely Indian Black Cotton Soil (BCS), after the addition of MSWI ash to the soil in varying proportions. The findings of study indicate that the optimum content of MSWI ash to be added to expansive soils for improvement in strength characteristics varies between 10% and 30% with best results at 25% of MSWI ash proportion. This content of MSWI ash increases the UCS of expansive black cotton soil from 28.8 kPa to 53.4 kPa and an increase in CBR value from 3.38% to 9.38%. The review suggests the use of MSWI ash in India keeping in view the enormous increase in volumes of municipal solid waste (MSW) due to fast urbanization in the country. The extensive use of such green technology will go a long way in reducing requirement of civil construction materials thereby lowering greenhouse emissions. Simultaneously, cost effectiveness in improvement of weak soils to be used in Highway subgrade civil engineering applications using MSWI ash will result is sustainable construction practices.

Online buying and shopping is a rising concept in the area of E-Commerce and is absolutely departing to be the future of Online shopping in Indian market. Majority of the firms are operating their online websites to promote and sell their products as well as services through online medium/website. In present scenario online shopping is very much used by Indians, its development is enormous in Indian online market. India is a large customer market place but still lacking as compared to global market. The future of development of online shopping has forwarded the plan of performing a study on online shopping market in India. This research work presents Qualitative and Quantitative research for Indian online market to study the impact and role of Demographic factors of customers in online shopping. The parameters, which we are considering like satisfaction of customers in online shopping market, future purchasing behavior, frequency of transactions in online shopping, total numbers of items bought, and total spending in online shopping. These data for the analysis was collected through Questionnaires on a sample of 125 respondents from Lucknow City. The results of this research indicates that online shopping market in India is affected by several Demographic factors such as marital status, age, family size, gender and income of the respondents. The results and analysis of this research may be further extended by the researchers for forwarding the future studies in this area.

There are various instruments available for investment activities globally. Every investor has an objective to diversify portfolio globally to minimize risk among foreign markets and companies. Investor has to acquire the necessary skills to analyze the stocks to make better investment decisions in order to create wealth maximization. Valuation of equity is pre requisite for intelligent decision making in choosing the right scrip for investment in deciding the true value or intrinsic value of a share. There are few methodologies to evaluate the valuation of stocks such as discounted cash flow method, dividend discounted model. In this backdrop, this paper made an attempt to evaluate the Skyworks Solutions, Inc. stock with free cash flow to equity (FCFE) method of valuation during the 2016 to 2019 and to determine the intrinsic value of the stock and results found to be undervalued.

The world has changed a lot in the last couple of decades. Instead of simply dealing with local or regional concerns, many businesses now have to think about global markets and logistics. Many companies have facilities spread out across the country or around the world, and there is one thing that all of them need a way to maintain fast, secure and reliable communications wherever their offices are. Until fairly recently, this has meant the use of leased lines to maintain a wide area network (WAN). A WAN had obvious advantages over a public network like the Internet when it came to reliability, performance and security. But maintaining a WAN, particularly when using leased lines can become quite expensive and often rises in cost as the distance between the offices increases. As the popularity of the Internet grew, businesses turned to it as a means of extending their own networks. First came Intranets, which are password-protected sites designed for use only by company employees. Now, many companies are creating their own VPN (virtual private network) to accommodate the needs of remote employees and distant offices.

This study will provide insight into current trends research in the area of Taguchi, Grey Relational Analysis, Response Surface Method, ANOVA & CNC Turning.

Comparative Analysis of Machining Characteristics of EDM and ECM during Machining of Ti-6Al-4V Ti-6Al-4V材料电火花加工与电解加工特性对比分析

The present work explains the machining of Titanium alloy using Electric Discharge Machining & Electro-Chemical Machining. This work aims to analyze the role of Current, Pulse on Time, Voltage and hence optimize the Material Removal Rate and Surface Roughness in Electric Discharge Machining. In the same way, it also aims to analyze the role of Concentration, Feed, and Voltage and optimize the Material Removal Rate and Surface Roughness in Electro-Chemical Machining. The various approaches like Taguchi & Analysis of Variance are executed to study the performance characteristics of the input parameters on the output parameters. The whole work is followed by a validation test and hence confirming the obtained values. Thus, it reveals the acceptability of the model. The work tells that Material Removal Rate and Surface Finish effect is more in Electro-Chemical Machining as compared to Electric Discharge Machining. For Material Removal Rate, Current and Feed are more responsible parameters for Electric Discharge Machining. In the same way; electrolyte concentration and Feed are more responsible parameters for Electro-Chemical Machining respectively.
