The purpose of this research is to describe, identify and analyze students' spatial intelligence in working on geometry problems according to Van Hiele's theory. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Tarakan. The research instrument used was the Van Hiele geometric thinking level test and spatial ability test, interview guides and documentation. Prior to use, the test, an interview guide, was first validated. The data analysis technique will be used in 4 stages, namely collecting, reducing, presenting, and concluding all the data obtained. The results of this study are that students with high spatial intelligence (KST) are at the level of informal deductive thinking (level 3) where at this ability students are able to know the relationship between shapes. While students with moderate spatial intelligence (SCC) are at the level of analytical thinking (level 2), namely the ability to know and mention the properties of flat shapes. Students with low spatial intelligence (KSR) are at the level of visualization thinking (level 1). In conclusion, it is important for teachers to know students' abilities in learning geometry by paying attention to the level of geometric thinking, being able to use the Van Hiele Geometry learning model, increasing spatial intelligence and van Hiele levels can be done through training involving geometric media or software (geogebra). Keywords: spatial intelligence, geometry, level of thinking, Van Hiele

This study aims to examine studies on the use of effect size in estimating the effect size of an experiment in various fields of science. The method used is Literature Review by searching for relevant articles in the databases of Google Scholar, National Center or Biotechnology Information (NCBI), Mendeley and ScienceDirect. The results of the study indicate that overall the articles reviewed show the use of effect size as a statistical test to determine the effect size of treatment in research studies. However, in its use, the effect size needs to be included with other statistical tests to obtain a small refractive index so that the data is more accurate. In conclusion, the effect size is part of a statistical test that plays a role in helping users understand the magnitude of the differences found in a research experiment. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of the Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) method on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Muhammadiyah 1 Tangerang City. The sample in this study used a simple random sampling technique. The method used is an experiment using an experimental class and a control class. Data collection techniques use learning outcomes in the form of formative tests conducted at the beginning and end of the study using the t test. So that means the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the working hypothesis (H1) is accepted. The results of the calculations carried out turned out that the learning outcomes of the experimental class using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Cooperative Learning method were better than the learning outcomes of the control class so that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, thus the working hypothesis was accepted, meaning that there was an influence of the numbered head cooperative learning method. together (NHT) on the results of learning mathematics for fourth grade students at SDN Muhammadiyah 1 Tangerang City. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together (NHT) method on mathematics learning outcomes in fourth grade students at SDN Muhammadiyah 1 Tangerang City. This study aims to describe how student mathematics teacher candidates use context in learning mathematics. A qualitative approach is used as a research method with supporting instruments, namely questionnaires and interview guidelines. The subjects of this research are mathematics education students who program PMRI courses. Data collection techniques are documentation of student reports, giving questionnaires and interviews about the context of mathematics. Data were analyzed by coding to develop descriptions and themes to answer research questions. The results showed that students understood the context as limited to problems related to everyday life. Students have not been able to implement PMRI because there are students who focus on solving mathematical problems by students. In conclusion, students have not utilized the potential of the context so that students can learn to reconstruct mathematical concepts and hone mathematical thinking processes through problem solving. ABSTRACT The purpose of the research conducted by the author is to dig deeper into the ethnomathematics of traditional Batak cakes on the concept of geometry. This research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The results of this study indicate that there is an ethnomathematical element in traditional Batak cakes, namely the concept of geometry and can be used as a learning medium. In conclusion, the five traditional cakes have a geometric concept, namely the concept of building space which is found including rectangular pyramids on rice lapet; balls on gadong cake; rectangular prism on the Labar; arbitrary prism at nitak; and cones on lapet pulut and ombus-ombus. Keywords: Ethnomathematics, Learning Media, Geometry, Traditional Cakes, Batak.
