This research aims to; (1) knowing the implementation of class actions using Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning; (2) knowing student activities in Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning; (3) find out whether Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning can improve mathematical critical thinking skills of second semester students of Mechanical Engineering at the Raflesia Polytechnic. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with four stages including: Action planning → action implementation → observation → reflection. The subjects of this study were students of the second semester of the Polytechnic, totaling 30 people. Data collection using observation sheets and test sheets. The results showed that the implementation of classroom action with the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning was carried out well, marked by an increase in student learning activities which was offset by a decrease in activities carried out by the teacher so that effective student learning was obtained. Students' mathematical critical thinking ability increases can be seen from the results of the tests given, if in the pre-test results only 5 students reached the good category, then the post-test results as many as 26 students have reached the good category, with 3 indicators, namely identifying problems , generalize and analyze the algorithm has reached a good category, for indicators of solving problems in the category enough. In conclusion, learning using the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) method for second semester students of Mechanical Engineering at the Raflesia Polytechnic is effective in improving student mathematics learning outcomes. This study aims to explain how elementary school students carry out their thinking processes to be able to solve problems in fractional material in fifth grade students of SDN Harjokuncaran 03 Sumbermanjing wetan Malang who have studied fractions. Data is obtained through the Think-Out-Loud (TOL) method or often called Think Aloud. In the TOL method, students are expected to be able to think critically and express in solving the problems obtained. The results of the study, students' thinking processes in solving problems, were taken by giving two fractional problems to each subject, namely 2 high-ability subjects (S1.1 and S1.2), 2 moderately capable subjects (S2.1 and S.2). ) and 2 subjects with low ability (S3.1 and S.3.1). After collecting data and analyzing it, the researcher can conclude that this study describes how the thinking process of elementary school students in solving problems that refers to Polya, including: (1) students can understand the problems obtained then identify sentences in the form of statements and question sentences then they are expected to be able to perform variable assumptions; (2) able to plan and be able to make appropriate solutions relying on the assumptions of variables, symbols, equations, and mathematical models; (3) elementary school students are able to participate in planning and problem solving by means of elementary students solving equations using algebraic properties and substitution; and (4) elementary students are able to review again by matching the results obtained with what is already known. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze calculations in the application of the concept of discrete probability distribution and descriptive statistics where the case study was conducted at the Medika Pratama Blanakan clinic by knowing the level of service and patient arrivals during the pandemic. The research method used is Statistics. The solution model in this study uses a discrete probability solution model and descriptive statistics. The results of the study, the two settlement models used for problem solving can be said to be in accordance with the research variables discussed and can be used as solutions and research recommendations properly. The calculations in this study were adjusted to the results of manual calculations and calculations with the help of SPSS applications or software and there was no difference in the calculation results between the two. Conclusion, Based on the discussion, calculation, and research that has been done at the Medika Pratama Blanakan Clinic as a case study location with the completion process using a statistical model in the settlement model, namely Discrete Probability and Descriptive Statistics, this can be completed properly according to the calculation flow. The purpose of this study was to describe the analysis of higher order thinking skills of STKIP PGRI Jombang students based on Underson and Krathwohl's theory in developing mathematics learning media. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study consisted of 27 students who were divided into 6 groups. Data collection techniques in this study used the main instrument and supporting instruments. The validity of the data using triangulation of sources. Based on the results of research and data analysis obtained that; 1) Students' high-level thinking skills in developing learning media, including high-order thinking modifikatif models, namely changing the shape of a product so that it becomes attractive and more practical, 2) Students develop mathematics learning media based on the problems found, namely helping teachers in conveying messages subject matter to students to make it easier to understand, more interesting, and more fun, 3) The level of high-level thinking of students in developing learning media is very high because they are able to come to the stage of creating, namely designing learning media that are ready to be used or published. This study aims to determine the effect of learning mathematics using teaching materials based on open-ended problems on students' positive attitudes. The research method used is the experimental method. Sample selection was done by random sampling technique. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Terpadu Bengkulu City. The selected sample was class VIII-A, which consisted of 28 people as the experimental class and class VIII-D, which consisted of 28 people as the control class. The results of this study indicate that the result is F = 16.06 where the value of sig <0.05 means that there is a significant interaction between students' attitude questionnaire scores (before-after) between classes (experimental-control). The interaction showed that the scores of students' attitude questionnaires between classes were significantly different. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of learning mathematics using teaching materials based on open-ended problems on students' positive attitudes. The effect of learning mathematics using teaching materials based on open-ended problems on the positive attitude of students in the experimental class is 89.8% while in the control class it is 53.8%. This study aims to determine the validity of the development and practicality of using animated video teaching materials based on character education for class VIII SMP/MTs on linear equation systems. This research is a research and development research and development (R & D) using a 4D model consisting of 4 stages, namely, Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. Product trials were carried out in small groups of 14 students of class VIII and mathematics teachers. The results of the study where at the validation stage consisted of 4 validation people, namely 1 media expert, 1 character education value expert and 2 material experts with an average validation percentage of 82.94% with the "Very Valid" category. At the product trial stage to determine the practicality of using this mathematics module using a small group test (student responses) and the teacher's response obtaining an average score of 81.62% in the "Good" category. So it can be concluded that the development of animated video teaching materials based on character education for class VIII SMP/MTs on the linear equation system material that has been developed is valid and practical so that it is feasible to be used in the learning process. This study aims to describe the characteristics of the Theory of Didactical Situation (TDS), especially in mathematics as an alternative information for educators to design learning according to the characteristics and needs of students and the learning objectives to be achieved. This study uses a literature review to explain the characteristics of TSD obtained from scientific papers and articles, relevant books, research reports, and other scientific sources. Based on the literature review, there are three characteristics of TDS, namely TDS' special attention to mathematics and its epistemology, epistemological characteristics, and students' cognitive dimensions. These three things are interrelated and support each other. This article also discusses the concept of adaptation through understanding adidactical situations and milieu and acculturation through understanding didactic situations and didactic contracts. In conclusion, through didactic situations that are built during learning and facilitated by the teacher, it is expected to be able to develop the potential of students, namely students can build their own knowledge to be achieved. This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes through cooperative learning type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) in fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 4 Tangerang City. This research was conducted on 30 students consisting of 14 male students and 16 female students. The learning used in this research is classroom action research using the spiral model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The stages of classroom action research according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart are as follows: The main concept of classroom action research consists of four components, namely planning (planning), action (acting), observation (observing) and reflection (reflecting). The results obtained in the first cycle, students who achieved complete learning were 20 students (66.7%) with an average score of 67 student learning outcomes, the second cycle reached 25 students (83.3%) with an average learning outcome. 74 , and the third cycle reached 28 students (93.3%) with an average learning outcome of 77. In conclusion, the application of the Team Assisted Individualization learning model to fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Tangerang can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the potential effect of developing sparkol videoscribe-based learning media on student learning outcomes of STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. This research is a development research using a 4D development model. This model consists of 4 stages of development, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. An assessment of student learning outcomes was conducted to determine the potential effect of developing sparkol videoscribe. Assessment of student learning outcomes is carried out by giving test questions after the learning is completed. The results of the research, the development of sparkol videoscribe has a positive potential effect, where 50% of students are in the very satisfactory category, 33.33% of students are in the satisfactory category and 16.66% of students are in the moderate category. In conclusion, the development of the sparkol videoscribe learning media that has been carried out has a potential effect on student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of contextual learning in improving students' ability to solve math problems based on HOTs (Higher Order Tinking Skill). This type of research is experimental research, the research design uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were students of class VIIA SMP Negeri 2 Praya Timur, totaling 42 students. The data collection instrument used a written test in the form of an essay (essay), and data analysis used the t test. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it shows that the pretest results of students in solving HOTs-based questions are still low with an average of 31.07, and after being given treatment by applying a contextual learning approach, students' ability to solve HOTs-based questions based on the posttest average increased to 84 .57 with very high category. While the results of the t-test with a test-value of 65 obtained tcount = 15.515, for a significance value of 0.000. In conclusion, the contextual learning approach is effective in improving students' ability to solve HOTs-based questions. Keywords: Contextual Learning, HOTS-Based Questions
本研究旨在探讨情境学习在提高学生数学解题能力方面的有效性。这类研究是实验性研究,研究设计采用一组前测后测设计。研究对象为SMP Negeri 2 Praya Timur班学生,共42名学生。数据收集工具采用作文(essay)形式的笔试,数据分析采用t检验。描述性统计分析的结果显示,学生在解决热点问题的前测成绩仍然很低,平均为31.07分,而在采用情境学习方法进行处理后,学生解决热点问题的后测平均能力提高到84.57分,类别非常高。而检验值为65的t检验结果得到tcount = 15.515,显著性值为0.000。综上所述,情境学习方法对于提高学生解决热点问题的能力是有效的。关键词:语境学习,热点问题
