Waste or organic waste from households can be converted into liquid organic fertilizer (POC) because organic waste contains nutrients that can be used as fertilizer. Waste becomes a problem not only in urban areas but also in rural areas because the population is increasing, so that waste production is also more. Household waste that is generated every day can be used as fertilizer by composting, but its utilization is not optimal. The socialization activity aims to provide education and increase insight to the community into the use of household organic waste. The community is given knowledge about the importance of utilizing household organic waste, how to manage household organic waste through the composting process, utilizing household organic waste as liquid organic fertilizer in cultivating vegetable crops, the benefits and cost-efficiency of organic vegetables for family self-sufficiency and organic vegetable business opportunities. The socialization involved 35 people, and the form of activity evaluation uses a questionnaire containing general characteristics of the respondent and selected questions. The results of the evaluation show that the age characteristics of the respondents are 50 - 59 years old, and the level of formal education is from Junior High School to Senior High School. On average, respondents already know and understand how to use household waste by composting a composter bucket (100%) as liquid organic fertilizer

Most people still underestimate organic waste, so this waste always ends up in the Landfill. How to process organic waste into compost has been widely informed. However, community participation in self-managing organic waste has still not increased. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide knowledge about household organic waste processing. The methods used in this program include lectures and discussions, demonstrations, and pre-post tests for evaluation. This program was carried out on November 30, 2019, with participants' targets, namely parents and teachers of Permata Hatiku School. This program was carried out on November 30, 2019, with participants' targets, namely parents and teachers of Permata Hatiku School. The various composting methods presented in the lectures include the composter bin method, Takamura, bio-pore, and jugangan (holes) in the ground. In addition, it also explained the basic principles of composting and how to make a bio-starter. The demonstration was carried out by practicing how to make a natural bio-starter known as local microorganisms (MOL) from rotten fruits. Composting was demonstrated by using the composter bin method with kitchen waste. The participant well-received the program materials. An increase in the post-test score marks it compared to the pre-test score.

The catfish culture development program organized by the National Peatland Restoration Agency in 2017 in the Village of Pelita Jaya Indonesia, has a positive impact on the economy. However, there are several obstacles related to the problem of providing catfish juveniles and formulated feed. The Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity aims to increase the income of the “Senang Bersama” Fish Farmers Group through training in catfish spawning techniques and silkworm cultivation. The activity was held in the Village of Pelita Jaya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, from May to September 2019. The methods used were lectures, demonstrations, training which included hormonal-induced catfish spawning techniques using ovaprim and sludge worm cultivation training. Monitoring and evaluation of activities are carried out starting from the first training until the activity ends. Activity evaluation was carried out using a retrospective (before-after) method using a questionnaire. The training results showed that the activity received a good response from PKM partners with the active participation of the partners and increasing the knowledge and skills of partners in the application of catfish spawning techniques and silkworm cultivation. The PKM partners could practice catfish spawning techniques and silkworm cultivation and apply them to fulfill the needs of group members in terms of catfish juveniles and feed. The impact of the activity as a whole is to develop the independence of the “Senang Bersama” Fish Farmers Group in providing juveniles and natural feed for catfish.

We did a Community empowerment program: SPP (Socialization, Prevention, and Data Collection) in Tenayan Raya District. The program's implementation was done for 14 working days, started from June 15 to 30, 2020. The socialization activity aimed to understand the importance of Covid-19 prevention through media such as; brochures and banners in Tenan Raya district. Moreover, the socialization activity also was done by counseling for markets and daily merchants. Then, prevention activities were like disinfectant spraying, masker distribution, hand washing facilities for comfortable and safe activities. In addition, the data collection activity about community medical history was used for policy-making related to Covid-19 prevention. The method that was used in this research was counseling and speech or gave information about Covid-19 to the community. The result was the socialization program, and Covid-19 prevention was done well, which can be perceived as improving the community understanding about Covid-19. It can be seen by community awareness in using masker, washing hand in a public place, for example; market place and disinfectant spraying in worship place twice or three times a week.
