Less than 5 age period is a stage that emphasizes attention to growth and development. In 2013, WHO reported that about 99 million children under the age of 5 suffer from malnutrition, of which 67% are in Asia and 29% in Africa.3 Currently, the main public health issue in Indonesia is nutritional problem where the body experiences disturbances in nutrients necessary for growth, development and doing activity. This study uses various data from the Indonesian government. Data on cases of malnutrition and stunting were obtained from the Kendari City Health Office from 2017 to 2020. The conclusion is that most cases of malnutrition in Kendari were stunting cases. In 2018 it was 46.99% and the lowest was in 2020, of which 0.80% with the largest coverage areas were in the Nambo Public Health Center and the Abeli Public Health Center, which are in the coastal areas. The age range is from 0-59 years old. The prevalence of malnutrition, short toddlers, and thin toddlers are found in women. Keywords: malnutrition, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of different levels of palm kernel meal (PKM) on diets of layer KUB (Kampung Unggul Balibangtan) chicken. Local feed was included in the various diets of PKM at levels of 0% (T1), 10% of PKM (T2) and 20% of PKM (T3). This research was conducted in 2019 at the beginning of layer period. One hundred and forty-four 22-week-old layer birds were selected from a flock and randomly allocated to three treatments with 3 replicates of the diet feeds introduced. Feed intake and egg production were determined using the SPSS Software. The increase in PKM levels had no effect on feed intake and egg production (p>0.05). The egg production in each treatment were 65.39%, 60.67 % and 62.50%. PKM applied in T3 (20%) did not affect the egg production in KUB chickens due to low crude fibre (4.64%). The price of feed in T1, T2 and T3 were IDR 6,000, IDR 5,250 and IDR 4,500 respectively. With the difference in PKM feed prices of IDR 1,500 compared to commercial feed, this is expected to reduce the cost of KUB chicken production. Keywords: Palm kernel meal (PKM), layer KUB chicken, production

Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease caused by the bacterium Microbacterium leprae. Leprosy has become a public health problem in the South Konawe Regency. However, it does not affect death rates directly. It has caused disability, decreased productivity and stigma to the patients. Indonesia is the number 3 country in the world with leprosy cases. This article used data from the Indonesian Health Ministry and the annual report of the Leprosy program by the South Konawe Regency Health Office from 2017 to 2021. The conclusion was that leprosy cases in the South Konawe Regency have reached the elimination stage with prevalence less than 1/10,000 of the population. The majority of leprosy patients were men of productive age (20 years to 60 years). Keywords: Leprosy, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

Stomatitis Apthosa Rekurent (SAR), also known as repeated thrush canker sores or cancer pain, is an oral disorder that commonly happens. SAR is characterized by spontaneous recurrence of painful ulcers in the oral mucosa area. The SAR highest prevalence is in the age range of 20-29 years, comprising 36.28% of all cases. Compared to men, SAR commonly happens to women. This statement is supported by previous research that found the majority of patients was women 55.4%, while men patients only comprise 44.6%. There are several caused of SAR such as heredity, imunodisregulasi, certain foods, stress, hormonal disorders, trauma, infections, drugs, smoking, and bad oral hygiene. Most SAR patients are between 26-35 years old. It is found in the literature that incidence of SAR might potentially happen in the third decade of life. On this survey, the results showed that there is relations between the risk of Stomatitis Aphthous Rekurent (SAR) and the menstruation cycle in women of childbearing age. ndonesia health profile shows that pneumonia causes 15% of under-five children’s deaths, which is around 922,000 children in 2015. From 2015-2018, confirmed cases of pneumonia in children under 5 years old increased by about 500,000 per year, reaching 505,331 patients with 425 patients dying. Pneumonia is an infection that causes inflammation of the lobes in one or both lungs. In people with pneumonia, a collection of small air space at the end of the respiratory tract in the lungs (alveoli) will become inflamed and filled with fluid or pus. This study uses various data from the Indonesian government. Pneumonia case data was obtained from the Kendari City Health Office from 2017-2020. The conclusion is that pneumonia cases in toddlers were male with an age range of 4-5 years. The prevalence of pneumonia in the last two years has decreased. The largest distribution area is in the Nambo and Puuwatu sub-districts in 2019. Keywords: Pneumonia, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

HIV/AIDS is a health problem and the one of the deadliest virus in the world. HIV/AIDS is still a pandemic that worries the community. The disease has a relatively long asymptomatic phase (without symptoms). Generally it takes 2 to 15 years to produce definite symptoms. The cause of HIV is an infectious disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus. AIDS is a condition that consists of a collection of symptoms related to the weakening of the immune system when the HIV infection has progressed and is not treated properly. It can also be transmitted from mother to baby during pregnancy. By now HIV/AIDS still cannot be cured because there is no certain cure. However, the disease can be controlled through the provision of Antiretoviral Therapy (ARV). This study used data on HIV/AIDS cases obtained from the Kendari City Health Office from 2015 to 2019. The conclusion is that positive HIV sufferers in the male group are 79.41% and the women group are 20.59%. The AIDS sufferers include 73.91% men and 26.09% women. The vulnerable age for HIV/AIDS is 30-39 years old (43.48%). Keywords: HIV/AIDS, Kendari City, Indonesia
