Transmission and reflection properties of dielectric layers in the UHF and SHF bands for wireless LANS 无线局域网UHF和SHF频段介质层的传输和反射特性

Buildings such as office blocks, individual houses and department stores have walls constructed from dielectric layers. It is important to characterize the properties of radio propagation through multilayered dielectric structures. In this work, plane wave incidence on dielectric layers is treated by using transmission-line theory. Transmission and reflection properties of plane wave for double layers in the UHF and SHF bands for wireless LAN arc presented and the results of different parameters arc compared. Thus, it will provide a guideline to design and deploy wireless LANs in communication environments.

Research on the radiation characteristics of the leaky coaxial cables 泄漏同轴电缆的辐射特性研究

The leaky coaxial cable (LCX) with vertical periodic slots is considered as an antenna array. By superposition principle, the field distributions of the LCX both in radial and axis directions are analyzed, the radiation patterns for near and far regions of the cable are studied. The relationships between the field distributions and the radiation modes are discussed. In addition, the field distribution and fluctuation of a discrete antenna system are also studied in terms of the theory of LCX for comparison.

Low profile parasitic antenna array of monopole by using dielectric resonator ring 基于介电谐振环的单极子低轮廓寄生天线阵列

Using a dielectric resonator ring around the monopole to reduce the profile of the parasitic antenna array, it is shown that less than 50% of the original height can be achieved, and a parasitic array with a dielectric ring for each monopole is studied.

A high directivity patch antenna using a photonic bandgap (PBG) cover together with a PBG substrate is designed. The input return loss, radiation pattern and directivity of this antenna are studied by the finite-difference time-domain method. The directivity of the PBG antenna is greatly improved. Experimental results are also reported to verify the design.

Wave scattering in random media and its application to remote sensing 随机介质中的波散射及其在遥感中的应用

This paper deals with wave scattering by a body in a continuous random medium and multiple scattering by a discrete random medium with many dielectric particles; in particular, addresses methods for analyzing the above two types of scattering and shows the scattering characteristics computed by the methods. The application is also discussed to remote sensing of water contents in soil. The results presented here have been derived from my laboratory.

An algorithm of bridge detection in remote sensing images based on fractal 基于分形的遥感影像桥梁检测算法

This paper presents a new method to detect the bridge in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images based on fractal. In this method, the gray surface of SAR image is model as a DFBR (discrete fractional Brownian random) field. In the homogenous region of SAR image, the H (Hurst) exponent of DHFR is almost the same but in the sharply change region such as the boundaries of bridge, the H occurs as singularity. According to this characteristic, the bridge can be detected and extracted. In order to alleviate the influence of the speckle of SAR image, an idea of mean was introduced into this algorithm. Experiment results show this algorithm is very effective and superior to other classical edge detection operators.

Study on the radiation property of a waist-shaped communication antenna by NFDTD algorithm 基于NFDTD算法的腰型通信天线辐射特性研究

In this paper, a new type of aircraft communication antenna with special structure - waist-shaped antenna is present. The nonorthogonal FDTD (NFDTD) algorithm is adopted to analyze the antenna aid good agreement between the results by NFDTD computation and measurements are seen. Furthermore, the obtained radiation property of the antenna is discussed. With this antenna, the continuous communication is ensured during the aircraft maneuver flight.

DOA estimation of ultra-wide band array antenna 超宽带阵列天线DOA估计

In this paper, the characteristic of ultra-wideband (UWB) arrays is analyzed in space-time domain and a method of direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation for impulse signal is introduced. This method borrows ideas from signal's cycle stationary characteristic in communication system. By decomposing the output signals' correlation matrix of the UWB arrays, the DOA information is obtained. Simulation result shows that if the cycle frequency isn't high, this method is valid.

Electromagnetic scattering from perfectly conducting cylinders with electrically large cross sections 具有电大截面的完美导电圆柱体的电磁散射

The integral equation for scattering by an aggregate of perfectly conducting cylinders, the sum of their perimeters being well over 120 wavelength and each cylinder being of arbitrary cross section, are first developed and then solved by means of the method of moment (MM) to give the current distribution induced on the scatterer surfaces, the scattering cross section versus azimuthal angle for both parallel and perpendicular polarized incident waves. The validity of the computer program has been verified by comparing results of interchanging the direction of incidence and the direction of observation due to the reciprocity theorem that the observed scattered field and the cross section is unchanged if the transmitter and receiver are interchanged.

A method for adaptive anti-interference based on subarrays in HF ground wave radar 一种基于子阵的高频地波雷达自适应抗干扰方法

To improve the capability of high frequency (HF) surface wave radar to suppress interference, an adaptive anti-interference technique was evaluated by using subarrays in OSMAR2000 (ocean state monitor and analysis radar, manufactured in 2000). In this paper, we put forward a scheme to suppress the external HF radio strong interference based on OSMAR2000 radar without increasing any accessional facilities, and some radar experiments were carried out by using a monopole as main antenna and other three vertical monopoles as auxiliary antennas. This paper presented the results of a preliminary study of an adaptive system with subarrays for the suppression of strong interference. The results of the study show that the technique worked well against the observed interference.
