This research aims to know the ZIS effort in realizing the accountability and transparency of management of zakat funds. With a qualitative descriptive approach, the data in this study was obtained by the interview method of the Chairman and the ZIS member of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Islam (FEBI). Literature studies are also conducted to enrich the discussion of research results. The results showed that ZIS manager at FEBI has sought to realize accountability and transparency of fund management in the form of publication of receipts and distribution reports and Zakat, Infak, and charity. In addition, ZIS in FEBI has also channeled zakat, Infak, and charity funds to various social organisations.Keywords: accountability, transparancy, zakat

This study aims to analyze the performance of LAZIS Al-Ihsan, Central Java, Solo Raya Branch. With a qualitative approach, the data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to public relations and volunteers of LAZIS Al-Ihsan, the Solo Raya branch. The results of this study indicate that from a financial perspective, LAZIS Al-Ihsan has sufficient growth, which is 44% from the previous year. Then in LAZIS Al-Ihsan’s internal business perspective, it has been running operational activities in accordance with sharia principles, and finally in the perspective of growth and learning, LAZIS Al-Ihsan already has a training program to improve the skills of volunteers so they can work professionally in their fields.Keywords: balanced socrecard, LAZIS, performance

The research aims to determine the impact of the Go-Food platform on the consumptive lifestyle among students. With a qualitative approach, the study tried to identify how Go-Food facilitates a variety of student needs, especially for students who have a consumptive lifestyle. The interview was conducted against 12 students who routinely use Go-Food to buy food. To enrich the discussion, theoretical studies are also conducted. The results showed that Go-Food presence can facilitate a variety of student needs, but not to the extent of excessive consumptive.Keywords: consumtif, Go-Food, students

AbstractPeople with disabilities often experience feelings of inferiority in their community. This makes people with disabilities often depressed or have difficulty accepting the situation. So there is need for rehabilitation to encourage and provide some provisions for their lives. The purpose of this study was to find out how the process of developing self-esteem of persons with physical disabilities through social rehabilitation at BBRSBD Prof. Dr. Soeharso Surakarta. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method by conducting several observations and interviews. The results obtained, that the process of self-development or self-esteem carried out at BBRSBD Prof. Dr. Soeharso Surakarta, the initial stage is the concept of self-mirror. Then given some motivation and skills that are able to awaken themselves and equip themselves in their lives.Keywords: Disability, self-esteem

English lessons are not the main subject at elementary school level. But in some schools these subjects become part of the local content or become a superior program offered to parents of students. Delivering English lessons is certainly not easy. There are various students who come to school. Student diversity also goes hand in hand with increasing problems in learning. Therefore there needs to be a good class management. In this study the authors, conducted research on the management strategies of English teacher classes in the teaching and learning process at SD Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan-Sleman. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which is done by describing the teacher of English subject class 3 in SDS Prambanan, Sleman. Data collection techniques are done by interview. The results showed that in managing the classroom, there were several steps implemented by the subject teacher. First, the process of greeting, through greetings, recitations or stories at the beginning of the lesson. Second, seating arrangements so that teachers are able to mobilize or condition students in the classroom. Third, stage 3) Starting, by drawing the focus of students in advance on the teacher first before going to the book or worksheet. Fourth, get on with it (teacher activity provides material) and get on with them (teacher and student interaction) in the form of using several methods in learning. Fifth, get them out (the activity at the end of learning) by conveying the conclusions of the day and giving direction to students of the next material.Keywords: Class management, teacher, English lesson

AbstractThe media has a big role in conveying information, even able to reconstruct an insight of Islam and nationality. In this study, the author argues that Cilukba magazine, as a representation of Islam, helped reconstruct the values of Indonesian nationality among children. The area of reconstruction in this paper focuses on several subjects: language, games and traditional food. Furthermore, this paper would like to analyze how Cilukba magazine represents national values. This paper is useful to see the authority of popular print media in constructing the face of Islamic nationalism in Indonesia. This research is a type of qualitative research with content analysis techniques. This research uses written data sources, where the primary data sources used are the Cilukba and Cilukba Junior magazines, while the secondary data sources come from junals and books. The result, it is known that Cilukba magazine, contributes towards strengthening national values through local culture. Strengthening local culture is manifested in the form of languages, games and traditional foods, which are represented in magazine rubrics. In this study, the author will examine the use of vlogs as a medium of learning to speak in English at IAIN Surakarta more specifically at the sharia faculty and the faculty of usuludin dakwah. AbstractIn Islam the barometer of one's level of faith is morals. Therefore, with the existence of religious activities, it will affect one's morals. The phenomenon of moral degradation seems to be rife among students. So there is a need for immediate handling, one of which is from the school. Schools can take policies that shape the character of moral and character students. The study examines the implementation of religious activities in improving the moral quality of students at Weru Sukoharjo Vocational School Science and Technology. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the study are known that, Weru Sukoharjo Vocational School Science and Technology is one of the Vocational Schools in Sukoharjo Regency which is not Islamic based but implements various religious activities. Religious activities are divided into two types, namely activities outside of learning, such as simultaneous prayer, tilawatil quran, and Islamic studies, as well as activities in learning, such as tahsin and tahfidzul quran.Keywords: Religious activities, morals

This research aims to determine the influence of company size and the reputation of the Public Accountant Office (KAP) on the cost of external auditors. The independent variables in this study were the company size and reputation of the KAP while the dependent variables in this study were the costs of external auditors. With a quantitative approach, hypotheses in the study were tested using linear regression analyses. Using the purposive sampling, 30 companies became samples in this study. Results of this study showed that the company size and reputation of KAP did not affect the costs of external auditors of the company.Keywords: firm size, auditor reputation, audit fee.

AbstractEducation is not just a transfer of knowledge but also looks at the moral side and character. The process of cultivating character can be done through a variety of media. One of the media that can be used as a means of inculcating moral values is film. Films with audio and visual depictions are able to influence someone to act in accordance with the message in the film. In this study, the author examines the Bajrangi Bhaijaan film. The aim of this research is to explore the values of character contained in the film. The method used in this research is the semiotic analysis method. The results of the analysis of the film Bajrangi Bhaijaan show that the film has a lot of moral values. First the caring attitude. Both are devoted to God, as God's creatures. Third is the work ethic or hard work. Fourth love affection. Fifth discipline. Sixth honest, honest attitude will make someone trusted by others. Seventh responsibility, this attitude reflects someone who is able to solve problems and the mandate given to him. The process of cultivating character can be done through a variety of media. One of the media that can be used as a means of inculcating moral values is film. Films with audio and visual depictions are able to influence someone to act in accordance with the message in the film. In this study, the author examines the Bajrangi Bhaijaan film. The aim of this research is to explore the values of character contained in the film. The method used in this research is the semiotic analysis method. The results of the analysis of the film Bajrangi Bhaijaan show that the film has a lot of moral values. First the caring attitude. Both are devoted to God, as God's creatures. Third is the work ethic or hard work. Fourth love affection. Fifth discipline. Sixth honest, honest attitude will make someone trusted by others.
