The purpose of the study was to investigate the hidden patterns of citation analysis embedded in the information flow of Asian Library & Information Science (LIS) top impact factor journals by using bibliometric and social networking analysis (SNA). Basic research questions were considered to investigate the citation trends of Asian LIS scholars in present research; a) the publications of Asian LIS researchers as individual were received the highest citation potential as revealed by received citation during last twenty years, b) Secondly the publications, which contain Asian LIS scholars are first author and co-authors from rest of the world are received the maximum number of citation, c) thirdly foreigners LIS scholar are first author and co-authors from Asian countries are received the ample number of citations. To evaluate the scientific research publications in terms of citation pattern analysis at Asian and rest of the world level, bibliometric and social network analysis (SNA) have been used through a VOS viewer software using Web of Science (WoS) databases from 1994–2013. Factual data was taken from WoS published by Thomson Reuters. Results revealed that foreigners LIS authors received the ample number of citations followed by Asian scholars, however, senior and experienced Asian LIS scholars have indulged to conduct joint publications and received a high number of citations whereas the first author is belonging from Asian countries and rest of authors are from the USA and Europe. The study portrays the worth of Asian LIS research and elaborates the thoughtfulness of its worth.

Governments around the globe have started to utilize technology to deliver government services to their stakeholders by means of e-government. E-government ensures delivery of more effective and efficient public services in easier and more convenient forms. Recent developments in technology provide new ways for citizens to interact with their government. In addition, the innovative expansion of smart phones has motivated governments to deliver their services through mobile platforms. In Saudi Arabia, many organizations offer their services to citizens through mobile applications. However, citizens' experience with governmental mobile applications is still unknown. Experience, as reflected in the way people describe their interaction, is a crucial factor in designing that interaction. Following a review of the relevant literature, and considering the current mobile applications available, this paper explores and investigates empirically citizens' experience of interacting with mobile government e-services in Saudi Arabia. The study involves 33 interviews, using an interpretive approach for data collection and analysis. Findings from the empirical study have revealed a number of factors which may influence citizens' experience. The most obvious finding to emerge from the study is that, although citizens support the shift towards delivery of mobile government services, evidence shows that mobile applications cannot be considered a primary channel of interaction with the government. The study contributes to knowledge by providing new and fresh insights about how citizens interact with government mobile services. Results from this study will help mobile e-services designers to understand the situation in relation to citizens in Saudi Arabia, and can also be invoked in the case of other, similar states.

Requirement Prioritization (RP) bears a sheer significance in requirements engineering. It is deployed to rank the requirements for subsequent release in their respective order based on predefined criteria. Software systems primarily get more complex accompanying size of requirements. In most cases, it is not possible to consider all requirements due to limited time and resources. Thus, requirements need to be prioritized correctly according to their importance. Quality of software to be developed greatly depends upon the order of requirements. Many studies reveal, no single RP technique can be labeled as best for all applications. Hence there is a need to analyze the available RP techniques to identify most favorable one in a given context. In this paper, a comparative analysis of ten leading RP techniques have been performed, based on some key factors like RP scales, complexity, scalability, customizability, accuracy, suitable dataset and handling risk factor. Strengths and weaknesses of these techniques have been analyzed and discussed. A case study is also incorporated as an example of selection of most suitable RP technique. This study contributes in selection of most appropriate RP technique in a particular scenario.

With the advent of Internet, people actively express their opinions about products, services, events, political parties and other one in social media, blogs, and website comments. The amount of research work on sentiment analysis is growing explosively. However, the majority of research efforts are devoted to English language data, while a great share of information is available in other languages. It is a challenging task to identify sentiment polarity of reviews written in both Wolof and French languages because theirs spelling are usually incorrect or non-uniform. In this paper, we propose a novel framework that contains (i) an extended French lexicon [1] with a new words and expressions currently used in both languages; and (ii) a sentiment scoring algorithm that uses string (word) similarity algorithm to address the spelling problem. Our algorithm classifies reviews as positive or negative based on the polarity of the words or expressions. Our experimental results on a real corpus demonstrated the effectiveness of our proposal.

With the study of social networks, in research for the network evolution and information transmission in social network, the research of detecting the influential nodes becoming important and meaningful. Recently, more and more researchers pay attention to the temporal networks. Specifically, we find that the key influential nodes who occupy structural holes are easier to earn benefits and control benefits in temporal networks. Based on the Burt's structural holes theory, we summarizes the existing structural holes measuring methods and provides a new improved method according to the features of temporal network with considering nodes topological, temporal path and temporal subgraph between the nodes in this paper. Furthermore, sufficient simulations are conducted on the real temporal networks, which investigate that the providing method is accurate and useful. Our research has a meaningful research for the detecting the influential nodes in temporal networks.

As one of the most effective tools to solve environmental problems, green credit can not only mobilize more capital to support the environmental protection industry, but also force the transformation of heavy pollution industry, and ultimately achieve a reasonable allocation of resources. Under this background, disclosure of carbon accounting information on heavy pollution industry is imperative. Based on the perspective of analytic hierarchy process, this paper first elaborates relevant concepts, and then takes 10 coal listed companies as samples, innovates and constructs a new comprehensive evaluation system of carbon accounting information disclosure of coal listed companies from four areas: carbon emission reduction effect, carbon increase and decrease subjects, low carbon strategy and carbon emission reduction action. The purpose is to evaluate the contribution of low carbon economy and energy saving and emission reduction, and to promote the sustainable development of China's economy.

A new visualization method of time series data change, a statistical shape analysis method, is presented. The shape analysis method was originally developed for image analyses in biology. However the analysis power can also be used in economics and socio-science, and the visualization is effective to understand the changes. The statistical shape analysis method has a feature to extract separately an Affine transformation part and a non-Affine one. The Affine transformation shows the total trend of all the data and the non-Affine one shows a local movement of one landmark which is specific to the landmark. To see the both, we can visually understand changes among the time series data. In this paper, we will present the visualization using Indonesia data on fertility rate and education status between the year 2007 and 2012.

Stock market is one of the most important components of the financial system. It directs money from investors to support the activity and development of the associated company. Therefore, understanding and modeling the stock price dynamics become critically important, in terms of financial system stability, investment strategy, and market risk control. To better model the temporal dynamics of stock price, we propose a combined machine learning framework with information theory and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). This method creatively uses information entropy to inform non-linear causality as well as stock relevance and uses it to facilitate the ANN time series modeling. Our analysis with Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple stock prices demonstrates the feasibility of this machine learning framework.

Compared with big cities like Madrid and Barcelona, Seville, as a small city, still lacks competitiveness. This paper aims to enhance the competitiveness and management of tourism destination. It is conducted by analysing Seville's current tourism offering and tourism development, via Ritchie and Crouch's model (2010). The result obtained is that Seville is more reasonable to make a high use of existing facilities rather than create new tourism products, so the High-Speed Railway (HSR) is promoted as a tool to attract tourists from Madrid and Barcelona, considering both the low usage of the HSR and the phenomenon of “over tourism” in big cities. Combined with some incentive strategies, it is practical for increasing the capacity and competitiveness of Seville's tourism development. This paper has not only contributed to making use of the transport facilities to promote the destination tourism development, but also boost the bonds with local destination management organisations (DMO) to meet the mutual benefits, which provides a solution for sustainable development.
