Effect different levels of safflower seed powder to the diets on some histological traits to the diets of common carp Cyprinus carpio L. 饲料中添加不同水平红花籽粉对鲤鱼饲料某些组织学性状的影响。

The study was conducted at special cages in mud pond, Agricultural Research and Experiment Station, Animal Production Department, Agriculture College, Al-Muthanna University, to study the partial replacement of safflower seed powder by levels of 0, 5, 10 and 15%, in the diets, instead barley and yellow corn, and the effects on the growth and blood parameters of common carp fish. The experiment was designed as four treatments with four replicates for each treatment (five fish/ replicate). The study included the effect of seeds on the histological parameters of carp fish, where the results showed histological examination of the organs of the liver, kidneys and gills, treatments of safflower seed powder fed at 5%, 10%, and 15% improved compared to T1 treatment. We conclude from this study the possibility of adding raw safflower seed powder by 10% to the diets of common carp fish Cyprinus carpio L.

Effect of nitrogen fertilizer and salicylic acid spraying on growth and volatile oil content of peppermint (Mentha piperita L.) 氮肥和水杨酸喷施对薄荷生长和挥发油含量的影响

A field study was carried out at the Agricultural Research Station of the Agriculture College, Al-Muthanna University (located in southern Iraq) , during season growth 2022.The study aims to know the effect of two factors, first one : adding nitrogen at three levels (0, 75 and 150 Kg. N. ha-1 ), second factor : spraying salicylic acid with three different concentrations (0, 100, 200 mg. SA. L-1 ) and their interaction on growth and essential oil yield of peppermint (Mentha piperita L.). Results showed the significantly superiority of nitrogen fertilizer level 150 Kg. N. ha-1 in all studied characteristics : plant height, branches number, leaves number, fresh weight of the shoot , dry weight of the shoot, volatile oil content and volatile oil yield (46.92cm, 16.89 branch plant-1 ,153.7 leaves plant-1 , 17.49 g plant, 2.66 g plant, 1.02% and 271.0 µL plant-1 , respectively. The peppermint plants sprayed with a concentration (200 mg SA. L-1 ) were significantly superior in plant height, branches number, leaves number, shoot fresh and shoot dry weight (42.88cm, 13.52 branch plant-1 ,129.9 leaf plant-1 , 12.97 g plant-1 and 1.98 g plant-1 ), respectively. While plants treated with concentration (100 mg. SA. L-1 ) gave the highest significant values of volatile oil content and yield of volatile oil ( 0.96 % , 291.9 µL plant), respectively. The interaction treatment (150 Kg. N. ha-1 , with 200 mg SA. L-1 ) gave the highest rates for all the studied except yield of essential oil was a highest in treatment (150 Kg. N. ha-1 , with 100 mg SA. L-1 )

Studying the effect of different levels of aqueous extract of sage (Salvia officinalis) leaves on some carcass quality traits of Chinese ducks 研究不同水平鼠尾草叶水提物对鸭胴体品质性状的影响

This study was conducted at the agricultural research station for raising ducks in AlMuthanna Governorate, from 14/12/2021 to 14/02/2022 (60 days). A total of 60 one-day-old Chinese duck chicks were reared with an average weight of 42 gm. Ducklings were prepared from local markets in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate, Chicks were held in a semi-enclosed hall with dimensions of 25 x 10 m, were randomly distributed into four treatments, each treatment was three replicates (5 chicks/replicate). It was placed in 12 pennies, an area of 1.5 x 1 m, and the experiment's parameters were as follows: the control treatment (T1), and treatments T2, T3 and T4, water extract of sage leaves was used at a concentration of 2.5, 5 and 7.5 ml per liter of drinking water, respectively. The results show that all treatments of the sage leaf extract gave the best results as a significant (P≤0.05) for carcass quality traits compared to the control treatment. The T4 treatment gave the best performance as a significant (P≤0.05) of carcass traits compared to the rest of the treatments of the aqueous extract of sage leaves.

Effect of different packaging treatments of Urea fertilizer and agricultural distances between lines and plants on the yield of sunflower 不同氮肥包装处理及株距对向日葵产量的影响

This experiment was applied according to the arrangement of split plots design by using a randomized complete block design (R.C.B.D) with three replications, the planting distances were filled with (40 ×40), (50×50), (60×60), and (70×70) for the main plots, while the packaging parameters (Zeolite + cement) were set. And (white cement only), (zeolite only) and regular (comparative) urea in the secondary plates (subplot). The result showed the significant effect of planting distances between lines and plants, as the distance (70×70) was superior to the traits of the weight of 1000 grains and the yield, the individual plant gm plant-1 78.00 gm and 78.48 gm plant-1 respectively The distance (40×40) was superior by giving the highest rate for the trait of total grain was 79.92 g, while the distance (70×70) and the packaging treatment (zeolite only) superior by giving the highest mean for the trait of the yield of the individual plant gm plant which reached which reached 80.30 gm.

Developing and testing of automated sprayer for agrochemicals application trials in Iraq 为伊拉克农用化学品应用试验开发和测试自动喷雾器

The field experiment was conducted with the aim of developing and testing an automatic sprayer for agricultural spray experiments and studying the effect of spray pressure, spray speed and spray height on the spraying process. The effects of the major spraying factors (pressure, speed, and height) on the spraying performance of the automatic sprayer were studied. This study included several traits: First - the drop sizes - Second - the penetration of the spray into the vegetation cover - Third, the spray wasted. The results showed: - First: - Increase in coverage percentage when using the first speed, 2 km / h, which amounted to 26.85%. An increment in the spraying penetration of the vegetation cover was observed at the second speed, 4 km/h, reaching 70%. Second - Pressure: The increment in pressure was accompanied by an increment in the coverage trait at the third pressure 3 bar, which amounted to 24.37%. The penetration trait was 81% at pressure of two bar, and wastage increased at the second pressure of two bar, which amounted to 25%. Spraying height: - Height) 40 & 50 cm (have no significant effect on the trait of coverage. However, it was significant in the trait of spraying penetration of the vegetation cover, as it reached at the first height (40 cm) 53% and at the second height (50 cm) 74%, and the trait of the lost at the first height, 40 cm was 13%, and at the second height, 50 cm, it reached 23%. It is concluded from the data, the extent of the effect that the spraying factors show on the studied trait, as The factors value increased is accompanied by an increment in some trait, in contrast to others. So, it becomes clear the necessity of coordinating the values of the factors with each other to obtain an equal spray.

The biological study experiment included the effect of inoculation with sulphur-oxidizing bacteria T. thioparus and its interaction with levels of organic matter. In addition, a biological vaccine for T. thioparus and the second factor is the organic matter at three levels control by without adding (0%, 0.5%, 1 %) the results of the statistical analysis showed that the biological Inoculation. T. thioparus treatment gave the highest levels of grain yield, numbers of T. thioparus bacteria, soil content of available nitrogen and soil content of available sulphur (4.74 mg.h-1, 0.22×104 CFu gm-1 soil, 54.27 mg N kg soil-1, 3131.39 mg S kg soil-1) respectively. While treatment with the second level of organic matter 1% gave the highest levels of the numbers of T. thioparus bacteria and the nitrogen content available in the soil and the sulphur content available in the soil (0.23×104 CFu gm-1 soil, 5163 mg N kg soil-1, 2796 mg S kg soil-1) respectively. In addition to the interactive treatments of biological inoculation of T. thioparus and organic matter of B1O2 of T. thioparus numbers, nitrogen content available in soil and soil sulphur content available (0.24×104 CFu gm-1 soil, 59.40 mg N kg soil-1, 3326.87 mg S kg soil-1) respectively.

In addition, a biological vaccine for T. thioparus and the second factor is the organic matter at three levels control by without adding (0%, 0.5%, 1 %) the results of the statistical analysis showed that the biological Inoculation. T. thioparus treatment gave the highest levels of grain yield, numbers of T. thioparus bacteria, soil content of available nitrogen and soil content of available sulphur (4.74 mg.h-1, 0.22×104 CFu gm-1 soil, 54.27 mg N kg soil-1, 3131.39 mg S kg soil-1) respectively. While treatment with the second level of organic matter 1% gave the highest levels of the numbers of T. thioparus bacteria and the nitrogen content available in the soil and the sulphur content available in the soil (0.23×104 CFu gm-1 soil, 5163 mg N kg soil-1, 2796 mg S kg soil-1) respectively. The study was conducted in Al-Muthanna Governorate during the year 2018 for the presence of two species of beetles belonging to the sacrabeidae family, namely Oryctes elegans (Prell, 1914) and Kheper aegyptiorum (Latreille, 1823), and the study also showed the presence of two species of beetles. Clear morphological differences between the parts of the two species in terms of body length and head composition, wings, legs and abdomen.

Modeling and estimation of evapotranspiration using remote sensing and GIS technologies in some areas of southern Iraq 利用遥感和GIS技术在伊拉克南部一些地区模拟和估算蒸散量

A study was conducted in southern Iraq. The study area was 16485.4418 km2 with the administrative boundaries of Basrah (North region) and Dhi-Qar (south region) Governorates. The aim of this study to design a digital model for estimating evapotranspiration values (mm) using remote sensing data and geographic information systems and comparing the results with the actual values calculated from four climatic stations distributed within the study area. As well as to study January and July from each year for a four-years chronology. The results showed that there is a highly significant correlation (r = 0.923**) between the calculated and actual values, and this proves the accuracy of the proposed model in estimating the values of evapotranspiration. The results also showed that there is a rise in the values of evapotranspiration in the month of July compared to the month of January of each year due to the high temperatures and the angle of incidence of the sun’s rays, which is almost vertical in the month of July. The results also showed that the study area varies in the values of evapotranspiration according to the different vegetation cover, as the values decrease with the increase of vegetation cover and Vice versa. As well as the effect of the values of evapotranspiration by rising for limited areas in the areas of electric power plants and oil fields, and this gives evidence of large quantities of thermal and radioactive emissions in the areas. The results also showed that there is a inconsistency between the values of evapotranspiration and the areas covered, which were divided into four categories for each scene, and that the values of these categories differ according to the types of land cover.

Evaluating The Financial Performance Of Fish Farming Projects In Fish Ponds And Floating Cages In Iraq (Diyala Governorate - An Applied Model) 评价伊拉克鱼塘和浮式网箱养鱼项目的财务绩效(迪亚拉省-一个应用模型)

The research aimed at evaluating the financial performance of fish farming projects in Iraq using economic criteria, and determining the efficiency of frames in using resources. Diyala Governorate was chosen as an application model, and field data were collected according to the random sample method, which included (30%) of the total fish breeding projects in the governorate. The sample included (28%) of the total fish farming projects in fish ponds and (31.5%) of the total fish projects in floating cages, based on a questionnaire form prepared for this purpose. It amounted to about (4573045) thousand dinars, the net cash income amounted to (5416737.5) thousand dinars, the payback period was (1.565) years, and the invested dinar return was about (1.929) thousand dinars, the operating percentage was (0.520) , the productive profit reached (91.4%). The break-even point in units of (464.56) tons and in revenue about (1642980.27) thousand dinars / ton, and from these results it is found that fish projects for the research sample achieve rewarding returns.*part of m.s.c thesis of the 1 st author.

Afield experiment was carried out in growing season (2020-2021) in two locations, The first Al- Hamdaniya ,which far away (15) km southeast of the city center of Mosul and the second in the Namrood location (65) km east of the city center of Mosul , to study growth and yield of three cultivars of barley (Hordeum spp.) response to tillage systems .The experiment was designed according to an experiment system within (split-plot).using a completely randomized block design (R.C.B.D) with three replications . The experiment included two factors, 1- Three cultivars of barley : ( Aswad mahly – zanbaga and Samer ) 2-Three tillage systems , Zero tillage (ZT) , Single plow farming– Two plows with seeding , Conventional tillage(CT) The most important esults could be summarized as follows:1- cultivars differed significantly in studied characters for both locations , Aswad mahly cultivar superior significantly in most characters while Zanbaga surpass in spike length 2-Zero tillage superior in all characters for both locations except the weight of seeds and number of seeds in spike .The two –plows method is superior to the one – plows method in number of seeds in spike and grain yield in the two location While sowing with one plows superior in the number of spikes . 3-The interiaction between cultivars and tillage systems shows superior Aswad mahly with Zero tillage in number of spike .m , grain yield and Aswad mahly with Two plows in number of seed /spike and seed weight in spike in the two location while zanbaga superior in spike length.
