Field verification test in UTMS's emergency call system UTMS紧急呼叫系统的现场验证测试

The purpose of UTMS's emergency call system is to help speedy rescue operation for traffic accidents. The cellular phone is a rapid and effective method to report an emergency but is difficult in determining the accident location. To solve this issue, this emergency call system plans to incorporate onboard equipment with a position detection function (such as GPS) which will transmit the necessary information via the existing cellular communications infrastructure. Evaluations of position determination accuracy were carried out using a variety of onboard equipment configurations. The authors also evaluated the reliability of the digital cellular communication protocol in communications between the vehicle and the center. The results allow to establish the main guidelines for the communication method between onboard equipment and center. Also, quantitative knowledge of reported position accuracy is obtained for assisting actual operation of the system.

Simulation of vehicular emission features in terms of engine emission performance 从发动机排放性能的角度对车辆排放特征进行仿真

The paper presents a new vehicular emission simulation method, aiming to improve the prediction of the overall vehicular emission in terms of engine emission performance characteristic of the early design stage. The method helps to optimize the matching performance of the vehicle and the engine by reducing the number of parameters to fewer engine running points.

Research and application on reverse engineering for automobile body out surface 汽车车身外表面逆向工程的研究与应用

This paper introduces the development of reverse engineering technique and its application on design of autobody out surface. According to the function of CMM, a new measurement method is proposed, with which the theory of surface reconstruction based on scattered data is researched and the relevant software is developed. The application shows that the method involved in this paper is stable and reliable.

A study on M/sup n/ coding for guarding against theft and remote control device of an automobile 汽车防盗及遥控装置的M/sup /编码研究

This paper mainly discusses a method of M/sup n/ coding and design of its hardware by using a multi-mode logic unit, and put forward a new solution method in which M/sup n/ coding is used to guard against theft and in remote control devices. The cost of this hardware is cheap, the coding number is massive, the coding method is simple and its decoding is difficult. Therefore, the method is suited to large-scale production in a factory.

This paper emphasises the means and technology that measures transmission shalt torque on the vehicle. It is based on the characteristic that magneto-sensitive elements can exactly measure micro displacement. It utilizes a single-chip computer and I/O circuit to measure relative torsion angle of shaft in the demarcated length. It can precisely measure transmission shaft torque.

The security problems and the security threats of TMN network system are analyzed, and the security services against these threats are presented. Detection of collision and interference between 3D objects using normal vector 使用法向量检测三维物体之间的碰撞和干扰

A new approach using a normal vector is given to detect collision and interference between 3D objects. By adding a surface normal vector to every vertex of polyhedron and curved entity surface, and getting intersection, the remainder length of the normal vector is calculated, and judgement is made whether two bodies are intersected. The approach can detect collision interference and calculate collision distance and directional distance in assembly planning. Furthermore, some measures are taken in order to increase algorithm efficiency and avoid any missing in detection.

A study on the behavior of vehicles with rear wheels locked during braking 后轮抱死车辆制动过程中的行为研究

Mathematical models have been developed to predict swing behavior of vehicles with rear wheels locked during braking. From the model an exponential function is obtained to describe angular deviation of the vehicle, and factors, which are found to have an effect on it are analyzed. Research indicates that for each vehicle at a sudden severe braking there is a critical speed at which the vehicle will not yield dangerous deviation even though the rear wheels lock. Above the speed, however, though deviation would happen, there is a time interval in which the swing angle would rise gently it can therefore give the driver an opportunity to adopt some method to avoid the accident.

Study on the damping fuzzy control of semi-active suspension 半主动悬架阻尼模糊控制研究

The fuzzy control is one of the promising control strategies in controlling the dampings of a semi-active automotive suspension. The focal point of the fuzzy damping control is how to consider the relative large degrees of freedom of the vehicle system under control and how to determine the control parameters of the fuzzy controller. In this paper, a seven degree of freedom vehicle ride model with semi-active suspension and damping fuzzy controller is proposed. For the parameter identification of the fuzzy controller, a new local improvement genetic algorithm is derived. Based on the proposed GA method and fuzzy control theory, the damping fuzzy control of the seven degree of freedom vehicle ride model is simulated and problems in the implementation are solved. An practical example is given.

Design of virtual machining and measuring cell based on agent 基于agent的虚拟加工测量单元设计

To implement virtual machining and to optimize the process planning, forecast and measure processing quality, an architecture of virtual machining and measuring cell (VMMC) based on agent was put forward. It is a concurrent virtual system with multi-agent and CORBA. Some basic problems on this architecture are researched in this paper, and solutions are found. Adopting the broker-agent architecture, this system is better in openness and extensibility and its architecture is more flexible. The foundation of this architecture makes the cooperation more harmonious between VMMC and others such as CAD/CAM system and machining plot on manufacturing network. It lays a good foundation for development in the future.
