The study of Zen aesthetics within temple garden design initiates with an exploration of the spatial configurations of traditional Chinese temple gardens. It delves into the origins and concepts of Zen-inspired landscapes, summarizing the elements and techniques of landscape design drawn from real-world temple examples and historical texts. Furthermore, the integration of Zen philosophical thoughts and aesthetics into these landscapes is examined, with a particular focus on the strategic placement of plants and the employment of core aesthetic principles. This analysis sheds light on the embedded Buddhist cultural themes, offering practical recommendations for crafting Zen-inspired landscapes.

Psychologists have studied the relationship between color and people's mental health and found that color can affect people's emotions. Generally speaking, red means happiness and enthusiasm. It makes people feel warm and full and stimulates the emotion of love. Yellow means happiness, brightness, cheerfulness, and joy. Green means peace and gives people a sense of peace, tranquility, and gentleness. Blue gives people a quiet, cool, comfortable feeling, make people open-minded. Gray makes people feel depressed and empty. White and black are the two poles of vision. Black makes people feel solemn, depressed and sad. White makes people feel elegant, pure and light. Research confirms that black can distract people's attention and make them feel depressed and dull. Long-term living in such an environment, people's pupils are extremely enlarged and numb. Over time, it has a negative impact on people's health and longevity. The rooms are arranged in a white, clean sense, but the white contrast is too strong, easy to stimulate pupil contraction, causing headache and other diseases. In a word, different colors can bring different effects on people's emotions and change their psychological activities. So People's personal experience shows that color has an important impact on people's psychological activities, especially with emotions.

Emily Dickinson, a renowned American poetess, authored nearly two thousand poems, embodying her legendary life through themes rich in emotion and complexity. Trauma, manifesting in various forms from her childhood to her reclusive later years, pervades Dickinson's secretive existence. Her poetry, marked by a profound personal touch, weaves the pain of loss, social isolation, unrequited love, physical suffering, and existential quandaries into metaphoric and symbolic language. Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Jung posited the existence of a collective unconscious in the human psyche, comprising universal symbols and motifs known as "archetypes", which subconsciously influence the poet's comprehension of trauma, thereby revealing themselves in her intricately profound verses. This paper explores the symbolic elements and manifestations of Dickinson's inner trauma through three classic archetypes— the Shadow, the Magician, and the Hero's Journey— examining how these archetypes' themes and symbols relate to her personal trauma experiences, thereby delving into the poet's psyche as she confronts trauma, seeking self-healing and personal growth.

This paper explores the application of functional equivalence theory in enhancing bilingual sports commentary, with a focus on Chinese and English languages. By analyzing commentary from various sports events, including the F1 British Grand Prix, NBA games, FIFA World Cup matches, and League of Legends World Championships, the study identifies key differences and areas for improvement in both language commentaries. Chinese commentary often suffers from clarity issues due to excessive commentators and informal language, while English commentary lacks cultural and idiomatic richness. The research demonstrates that integrating functional equivalence theory can significantly improve the quality of sports commentary by ensuring that it is culturally and linguistically tailored to the audience's experience. This approach not only provides a richer viewer experience but also bridges the gap between different linguistic audiences, maintaining the excitement and context of the sports event.

Over the past 20 years, the study of social history has become the most remarkable direction in the field of modern Chinese history. The research of modern Chinese social history has gone through three stages: disciplinary revival, system construction, and steady development. The era features of modern Chinese social history research mainly manifest in: prominent achievements in regional social history, with increasingly deepening theoretical research; the burgeoning research on modern rural history, moving towards in-depth exploration; and the attention-grabbing study of social gender history under new concepts. For traditional disciplines of modern Chinese history, the perspective of social history research has greatly expanded, mainly manifested in: breaking through traditional dogma, exploring new fields; shifting the perspective of observation, returning to the people themselves; and paying more attention to small events in the macro background, emphasizing a micro perspective.

Competition is a widely welcomed and promoted means of ability cultivation and knowledge examination under the current education model. In order to better leverage the positive impact of competitions in education, this study conducted questionnaire surveys and face-to-face interviews with competition participants in higher education from the perspectives of gender differences, competition mentality, students' social skills and teamwork abilities to explore the advantages of competitions. The educational significance and impact on students provide effective experiences and suggestions for students, educators and educational managers. The conclusion is that in subject competitions, the psychological pressure of students, especially girls, needs to be appropriately relieved. Students have many ideas and purposes for participating in competitions, and the guidance and publicity of educators are the most important reasons. Students are willing to use their imagination and innovation ability in competitions, but they still need certain guidance and teaching in the process of transforming from theory to practice.

With the popularization and development of social media, adolescence has become an important platform for adolescents to express their views, exchange information and participate in society. The purpose of this paper is to explore in depth adolescents' behavioral responses to public events on social media and their guiding trends and to analyze adolescents' motivations for using social media, the manifestation of public events on social media, the application of social movement theories in social media research, and the modern transformation of public sphere theories. Using a mixed-methods design that combines quantitative and qualitative data analysis, this study provides a comprehensive picture of adolescents' behavioral patterns, motivations for participation, and social impact on social media, as well as their roles and challenges in public discourse. The study revealed that adolescents respond to a variety of types of public events, including posting, commenting, sharing, and engaging in hashtags. Adolescents' interactive behaviors on social media information diffusion, opinion formation, and social mobilization are important social impacts of adolescents' social media behaviors. They accelerate the spread of information through sharing and retweeting, participate in the discussion of public issues and have a direct impact on the formation of public opinion. In addition, social media has become an effective tool for mobilizing social action, and adolescents promote practical action and participation in public issues by interacting with and organizing online activities. This study proposes a series of coping strategies, including improving users' media literacy and information discernment, social media platforms to strengthen the regulation and auditing of information dissemination, and the government and the community to strengthen the regulation and governance of the social media field. This study provides new perspectives for understanding adolescents' social participation in the digital age, showing how social media, as a new public sphere, affects public discourse, social mobilization, and the formation of civic identity. The findings not only provide rich empirical material for sociological theories but also provide valuable insights for promoting social public participation, improving information quality, and advancing social progress. Future research can further explore the impact of social media on adolescents' social participation in different cultural and social contexts, as well as how to optimize the efficacy of social media as a platform for public discourse and social mobilization through educational and policy interventions.
