The objective of this research was to assess the participants' knowledge and attitudes towards dementia and older people in a broader manner. A Dementia education workshop for undergraduate students was held. Students fill out a questionnaire before and after the workshop.  The Questionnaire was prepared by deep insights into previous literature to determine the knowledge and attitudes of 221 participants towards dementia. Attitudes towards individuals with dementia have shown substantial positive improvements before and after the workshop, while attitudes towards older people have not been affected. Respondents were reasonably well-known general dementia but had little awareness of particular risk factors.  A significant percentage of participants thought dementia symptoms could ameliorate even at an early stage of the illness for individuals who were diagnosed with dementia. Medical and nursing students require more professional, practical, and theoretical skills and learning in their studies. It is equally essential for students, via workshops such as this one, that they get to know the humanistic aspects of illnesses and situations. Fresh thinking and additional resources may be required to combat continued widespread misunderstandings and stigma development towards dementia.

All special students need to learn adequately so that their deviation from the norm will not demerit them from other students. Thus, there is a need for them to have enough learning tools which will help them achieve their academic goals. These technologies that aided the learning of special students are called low-technological devices. But when these technologies for special students are not sufficiently available, learning could be jeopardized. This study, therefore, investigates the available low-technological devices for learning in special secondary schools. This study employs the survey method and 150 secondary school students from special schools were purposively sampled. The findings established that revealed that Stylus, Picture symbols, Pocket dictionary/thesaurus, and Line guide are Highly available to the respondents but Wrist Rest, Signalling Device, Graph paper, and Adjustable Table and Hearing Aids are moderately available to the respondents accordingly. The study concluded that some recent and high technological devices are not adequately available. It was however recommended that Government should provide adequate funding to improve the availability and affordability of assistive technology for children with disabilities.

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of science learning outcomes on the subject of animal life cycles through the use of Powerpoint media for students with hearing impairment. the method used is classroom action research using demonstration learning methods, giving assignments, and asking questions. The subjects of this study were 4  students with hearing impairment at the Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Bekasi Jaya, Indonesia. The results showed that student learning outcomes have increased so that it exceeds the Minimum Completeness Criteria that have been set, namely 80. This happens because the Powerpoint media used is easily understood by students. This study demonstrates that the use of Powerpoint media is easy to understand and attracts students' attention, thereby accelerating students' understanding, especially deaf students, about the life cycle of animals. In addition, Powerpoint media will also make it easier for teachers to guide students, especially for students with hearing impairment.

Purpose of this study was to know the impact of COVID-19 on family harmony. The research method used is a case study of 4 people who have families with different backgrounds, roles, and conditions (with and without people with special needs). Results showed that impact of COVID-19 to the family harmony caused decreases in domestic income, increases in frequency of family fights, financial management difficulties, and the double burden of the family, especially parents. These results come because there are actions that emerged after COVID-19 appeared, namely home quarantine and implementation of health protocols. This then necessitated adaptation in various sectors where working from home, school from home, and layoffs of employees. This research has an impact on analyzing family harmony during the COVID-19 pandemic for the development of sustainable family harmony to prepare families for unexpected future situations.

This research aimed to design a webinar platform that can help the deaf understand information while attending online seminars using sign language interpreter features. That way, the deaf will have no difficulty understanding the material being delivered by the speaker. This research method used descriptive methods to describe the problems faced by deaf webinar participants, where the difficulty met when attending online seminars using webinar media. In general, webinar applications lack sign language interpreting features, confusing webinar participants with hearing loss in understanding what the speaker is talking about. This webinar platform can display sign language translators according to the sentences spoken by the speaker. These study results are expected to help create a webinar platform with features that make it easier for participants with hearing disabilities to understand the material quickly.

The purpose of this study was to determine the preferred mode of interaction of generation Z. There are four novelties: (1) To understand the percentage of students who prefer social media as a medium of social interaction, (2) To know the percentage of students who prefer face-to-face interaction, (3) To comprehend what medium do they prefer to use when they are discussing their courtship involvement, academic matters, personal issues, interpersonal relational conflicts, sex-related matters, and (4) To know the reasons for students' preference in terms of mode of Interaction. The study used a mixed-method approach, employed explanatory design, and used simple random sampling in choosing the 76 respondents/participants from the Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) students. A survey and an interview were conducted to compare face-to-face interaction and social media interaction as the primary mode of interaction. The results showed that 60 students prefer face-to-face interaction over 76 students, with a frequency of 78.94% out of 100%. It is concluded that most of the students prefer face-to-face social interaction rather than social media. This study has an impact on Generation Z, as it serves as a realization of their social activeness in interaction as well as on the community. Also, it will help society understand how Generation Z compares to other generations by being the generation most affected by technology and its rapidly evolving form of communication, as well as the loss of their ability to communicate.
