Outbreak of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has spread rapidly around the world, causing enormous economic and social hardship. Severe acute respiratory syndrome caused by SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CoronaVirus 2), caused millions of cases and death all over the world. The relevance of this problem is supported by the continuing risk of outbreaks disease, the emergence of new strains of the virus, as well as the presence of long-term consequences of the transferred COVID-19. The results of numerous randomized clinical trials indicate a mutually aggravating effect of COVID-19 and cardiovascular pathology. On the one hand, patients with chronic forms of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are at risk of severe course and unfavorable outcome, on the other hand, COVID-19 may contribute to the onset of cardiovascular disease or exacerbate already available CVD. Timely diagnosis of post-COVID syndrome and the correct treatment tactics will reduce complications and mortality.

In comparison with the normal conditions of feeding, in the conditions of abundant feeding, the mean values of the studied biological indicators (except for the silkiness of wet cocoons) are exaggerated, and phenotypic variability decreases. With poor feeding, the average values of the indicators decrease, and the phenotypic variability increases. During the study, the minimum increase and decrease of the average value of all symptoms and the coefficient of variation in the Mayak-3 breed were revealed; the greatest increase and decrease of indicators were marked in the Yashar breed; and in the Ganja-6 breed, growth and deposition of indicators were at an average level. Thus, the hereditary tolerance to the environmental impact of the feeding factor is strong in the Mayak-3 breed, moderate in the Ganja-6 breed, and weak in the Yashar breed.

This article talks about promising ways of development of petrochemical and oil refining industry and efficient use of water resources. Water affects most segments of the petroleum industry, and therefore efficient water management plays a key role in oil and gas exploitation. In most process industries, water is vital to many operations and is used for a variety of purposes such as product preparation, cooling, high purity water makeup water systems, general plant service water, waste handling/conveyance, potable/sanitary service, and fire protection, The water to be managed is produced together with hydrocarbons, formed as a by-product during oil and gas processing. Water has been identified as one of the top four challenges facing the exploitation of one of the largest crude oil fields (oil sands extraction). Large volumes stored in tailings ponds from oil-sand separation must be managed with a long-term view, as dike failure can cause a major environmental disaster.

The study wants to show methods for evaluating rural development in Romania, in the context of joining the European Union. The methodologies used are analysis and synthesis and they are usefull for private and public sector in helping them find new ways to improve rural life with European funds. The current interest in global and regional development is determined by the need to address and solve within national economic policies some new difficulties, generated in the context of the restructuring and reform processes triggered in the central and eastern regions of the continent. According to the Territorial Development Strategy of Romania 2035, the evaluation activities compare the achievements from certain moments of the implementation of the strategy with the previously proposed targets, including the way of implementing specific policies. Accession to the European Union was the strongest pressure factor for the rapid reform of the Romanian rural economy, given the need to integrate into the European rural economy, the European model being based on a competitive, market-oriented sector, performing public functions, such as: protecting the environment, offering more convenient residential settlements for the rural population, as well as the integration of agriculture with the environment and forestry. The general research hypothesis of the study consists in the assumption that the study of the rural space in Romania, in the context of the implementation of programs with European funds, will lead to a clearer identification of the problems and to finding better solutions for the development of the rural environment.

Agricultural land use and land management is traditionally one of the most developed branches of the economy of Ukraine, which uses natural resources - land, as a means of production, to obtain agricultural products. This branch of the economy not only provides domestic needs for high-quality, affordable food, but also plays a major role in solving the global food crisis by exporting agricultural products to many countries around the world. Thus, the regulation of world food prices is ensured, performing a humanitarian function in the world economy, counteracting the trends of food shortages and the threat of famine. The article examines the economic efficiency of agricultural land use in Ukraine and border regions. In particular, a retrospective analysis of the main indicators of the agricultural sector of Ukraine and Zhytomyr, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions was performed. The trend processes observed in the agricultural land use of these regions and the country as a whole are outlined. The article highlights the degree of ruination of the territory of Ukraine, compared with the most developed countries in the world. The degree of poverty and the percentage value of agricultural land in the regions of Ukraine were analyzed. A set of measures is proposed to reduce the extensive use of land resources in order to preserve their quality indicators of fertility and ensure the sustainable development of the economy of Ukraine.

Throughout their life cycle, petroleum-based plastics are associated with many environmental issues, including greenhouse gas emissions, marine, and terrestrial persistence, pollution, and more. On the other hand, bioplastics are a rapidly growing class of polymeric materials that are often presented as alternatives. However, bioplastics are also associated with important environmental issues such as greenhouse gas emissions and adverse land use changes that need to be properly assessed difficult to assess. Bioplastics are considered both a potential solution and a new source of harmful environmental impacts, mainly as a result of the use of agricultural biomass.

In the modern world, the prevalence of dysmetabolic conditions, which are accompanied by corruption of lipid metabolism and the distribution of adipose tissue in the body, is increasing, and their consequences include cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) etc. These pathologies are characterized by dyslipidemia, which reflects an imbalance in the processes of assimilation, transportation, absorption and use by fatty acids’ cells as energy and plastic substrates. A decrease in the relative content of unsaturated fatty acids in low-density lipoproteins (LDL) causes dysfunction of cell membranes, and an increase in serum concentration of LDL means corruption of their absorption by cells, which contributes to the development of atherosclerosis. Absorption of LDL by cells occurs through the interaction of apolipoprotein apoE/B-100 with the membrane receptor of LDL. The cell regulates the supply of lipids and cholesterol by synthesizing these receptors. The expression of LDL receptors is regulated at the level of transcription; particularly, it is stimulated by insulin and suppressed by excess cholesterol, the latter leading to abnormal accumulation of lipids in cells and tissues and the development of pathology in various organs. According to clinical and experimental studies and meta-analyses, drugs from the group of inhibitors of sodium-dependent glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) have a pronounced protective cardiorenal effect in patients with T2DM and in cases of kidney and heart dysfunction. These beneficial effects are associated with improving insulin sensitivity, increasing the level of antiatherogenic HDL cholesterol, reducing the accumulation of lipids in visceral fat, stimulating lipolysis, and switching of oxidation towards the preferential use of lipid substrates. The paradoxical increase in LDL cholesterol is mainly due to less atherogenic large floating particles, and the negative effect is apparently counterweight by the wide range of beneficial pleiotropic effects of gliflozins.

Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare primary tumor originating from pleural mesothelial cells with insidious onset, high invasiveness and malignancy. Early symptoms are not obvious, lack of specific symptoms, and the diagnosis is difficult, and it depends on the pathological tissue for immunohistochemistry to confirm the diagnosis. Only a small number of patients can receive radical surgery, and the current treatment method is chemotherapy. This article reviews the diagnosis, treatment and progress of MPM diagnosis and treatment status.

In recent years, the prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) has been increasingly observed among women, which is one of the reasons for the higher interest of scientists in the influence of COPD on pregnant woman. The aim of our study was to establish the features of the development pregnancy complications in pregnant women with COPD. Materials and methods. 77 pregnant women with clinically and instrumentally verified signs of COPD were examined and were divided into 2 subgroups depending on the degree of bronchial obstruction: IA - 43 pregnant women with FEV1≥80%, IB - 34 pregnant women with FEV1 50-79%. The control group consisted of 27 healthy pregnant women. The cytokine profile was determined and a correlational interaction with the degree of bronchial obstruction and the frequency of obstetric and perinatal complications was established. The results. Our analysis of cytokine profile indicators in pregnant women with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the stage of mild and moderate bronchial obstruction showed a characteristic and reliable increase in the level of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6) and a simultaneous decrease in the level of anti-inflammatory IL-10 (p≤0.05). We established that an increase in the degree of bronchial obstruction is also associated with a higher frequency of detection of such pregnancy and childbirth complications as anemia, respectively, by 3.1 times, the threatened of premature birth by 9 times, preeclampsia by 7 times, placental dysfunction by 3.4 times, intrauterine growth restriction 8 times, premature birth 3.5 times, premature rupture of membranes during labor 4 times, and fetal distress 3 times higher compared to the control group. Conclusions. COPD in pregnant women is characterized by systemic disturbances in the cytokine balance and is accompanied by a significant increase in the frequency of obstetric and perinatal complications, the frequency of which depends on the degree of bronchial obstruction.

COPD in pregnant women is characterized by systemic disturbances in the cytokine balance and is accompanied by a significant increase in the frequency of obstetric and perinatal complications, the frequency of which depends on the degree of bronchial obstruction. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000
