Development of a Prompt Translation Practice System for Foreign Language Learning Assisted by ICT and the Evaluation 信息通信技术辅助下外语学习快速翻译实践系统的开发与评价

This study is related to a computer system with audio media to enhance speaking ability of a foreign language. This paper explains the selection logic of a subject for prompt translation and the structure of the subject database. The proposed system was evaluated using the described experiment which demonstrated that users witnessed increased awareness of effectiveness for the system with voice nearly fifty percent higher than that for the system without voice, and so forth.

A Similarity Measurement Framework for Requirements Engineering 需求工程的相似性度量框架

Researches show that a reasonable number of projects failed to achieve their desired goals. There could be many different reasons like managing requirements, excessive documentation of code, difficulty to deliver the software with all required functions on time etc. Through proper management of requirements and concept of reusability, an effort could be made to overcome such percentage of failure. This paper argues about requirement similarity measurements and a possible application to support design and code reusability. An outline of SimReq framework is a step towards this direction.

Information Security Risk Assessment Based on Artificial Immune Danger Theory 基于人工免疫危险理论的信息安全风险评估

This paper puts forward an information security risk assessment model, which based on danger theory, and provides a risk calculation method based on this model. It aims at the problem of the strong subjectivity and improving the accuracy and real time performance of current information security risk assessment system, by reference to dynamic response characteristic of danger theory in immunology. The model can comprehensively take various assessment factors and their correlation into consideration and conduct dynamic assessment under changing risk. Finally, the effectiveness of the model in information system security risk assessment is verified through the experiments.

Analysis and Interpretation of the Human Body Motion Images for a Robotic Implementation 机器人人体运动图像的分析与解释

This work presents some results obtained from image processing and motion analysis. The aim of image processing in this case is motion analysis of the human body. The issues raised in motion analysis are of interest for obtaining motion-specific parameters for movements of the human body. The resulting data (spatial coordinates, velocities and accelerations) are used for further processing in humanoid robotics and assistive and rehabilitative technologies for disabled people. The results are implemented on a robotic leg, which was developed in our laboratories.

Improving Component Testing of Industrial Automation Software 改进工业自动化软件的组件测试

Industrial automation systems are tested nowadays mainly via system tests at a very late stage of development. These tests are conducted manually, are time-consuming and cost-intensive. Earlier testing of automation software, e.g., component testing, is therefore desired in order to reduce the effort for system testing by detecting errors sooner. In this paper we present an improved concept for a test environment that enables developers of industrial control electronics to test the functionality of IEC 61499 software components. Components can be tested on any hardware with an IEC 61499 runtime environment, even on the target hardware. There is no need to change the automation software for testing. We propose using dynamically typed languages to implement tests because such languages have inherent properties that are useful for this task. We provide example code of a typical test case.

Non Intrusive and Extremely Early Detection of Lung Cancer Using TCPP TCPP在肺癌非侵入性极早期检测中的应用

In this paper, we introduce a method of functionally classifying lung cancer cells from normal cells by using Tetrakis Carboxy Phenyl Porphine (TCPP) and well-known computational intelligent techniques. Tetrakis Carboxy Phenyl Porphine (TCPP) is a porphyrin that is able to label cancer cells due to the increased numbers of low density lipoproteins coating the surface of cancer cells and the porous nature of the cancer cell membrane. Lung cancer is the leading cancer killer in the world. Novel early detection technologies are needed to maximize the chance for a potentially curable stage of lung cancer. When identified early (radiographic stage 1), non small cell lung carcinoma is routinely resected with survival rates of 40 to 85%. Unfortunately, most lung cancers present at an advanced stage resulting in a dismal overall 5 year survival of 15%. We study the performance of kernel methods in the context of classification accuracy on Biomoda cultured lung sputum dataset. We use a Library for Support Vector Machines (LIBSVM) for model selection. Through a variety of comparative experiments, it is found that SVMs perform the best for detecting lung cancer. Results show that all 79 features we use give the best accuracy to identify lung cancer cells. Our results, thus, demonstrate the potential of using learning machines in detecting and classifying lung cancer cells from normal cells.

A Collaborative, Online, Problem-Based Simulation Platform (COMPSoft) for Medical Education 用于医学教育的协作、在线、基于问题的模拟平台(COMPSoft)

In this project, we transferred Problem-Based Learning (PBL), a well-known pedagogy for medical education, to an online environment by transforming it into a simulation where students could practice their skills collaboratively in a risk-free setting. This paper describes the design of a conceptual model and development of a software platform to allow learners to collaborate online in discussing PBL cases. Early testing has been extremely promising, largely due to the extensive work done earlier to build the ENJEUX-S online game platform. Thanks to this work, it has been possible to extend this platform from online games to online simulations. Our first test of the PBL model with undergraduate students was successful in facilitating their critical thinking and was well-received. We are now planning to use COMPSoft in medical schools and to conduct comprehensive evaluation studies of both the model and the platform.

A Proposed Quality Assurance System to Support Quality Analysts for Process and Products Verifications 一个建议的质量保证体系,以支持过程和产品验证的质量分析师

The Quality Analyst Software is a tailor made software with the objective to considerably support Quality Analyst (QA) and the related users to conduct process and products verifications in an efficient way. It will eventually contribute in the continuous improvement of the processes in the Quality Management System (QMS). On average, a QA is assigned 35 projects and has to conduct 3 process verifications, 3 product verifications and other quality activities for each different project. In all, the QA has to manage around 210 verifications. Due to the loads of activities, QAs cannot perform properly and manage well their tasks. Thus, the QMS lifecycle for continuous improvement of the processes is incomplete and hence it does not serve its purpose. The Quality Analyst Software assist the QA in effective planning and automatically record scheduled meeting in MS Outlook calendar, successful execution of the plan through automatic reminders, ease in collecting data, no tasks/ input doubling-up, provide traceability through e-mails, quick availability of significant reports at the right time, in the right format and to the right person. Up to 1.3 hours is saved per process verification. Days lost in making follow-up to closure are rationalized. The Quality Analyst Software can greatly streamline processes, reduce cycle times, increase efficiency, minimize errors, and generally, improve the overall service levels. Based on data recorded and defined critical factors, the system will keep on adjusting and increasing the accuracy of its estimated values and thus be able to propose to the domain user reliable and realistic values.

Design and Implementation of Product Information Transmission System for Remote Collaborative Design 面向远程协同设计的产品信息传输系统的设计与实现

With the fast development of modern manufacturing technology and the severe market challenge, there are higher demands for the collaborative work ability among enterprises through Internet. To meet the demand, a STEP and EXPRESS based remote transmission mechanism for product model information is designed. The proposed mechanism fulfilled the product model information exchange and integration among heterogeneous CAD systems by combining STEP AP and EXPRESS language. An application system based on the approach is implemented and put into practice in one die mould company. Results show that the system does effective affects for the remote collaborative design among the company, its customers and partners, helps to promote company’s competitive ability to the market.
随着现代制造技术的快速发展和严峻的市场挑战,企业之间通过互联网的协同工作能力提出了更高的要求。为此,设计了一种基于STEP和EXPRESS的产品模型信息远程传输机制。该机制将STEP AP和EXPRESS语言相结合,实现了异构CAD系统之间的产品模型信息交换和集成。基于该方法的应用系统在某模具公司得到了实现和应用。结果表明,该系统对企业与客户、合作伙伴之间的远程协同设计产生了有效的影响,有助于提高企业的市场竞争能力。

Applying a Moment Approximation to a Bacterial Biofilm Individual-Based Model 基于个体的细菌生物膜模型的矩近似应用

We consider a 2D individual-based model of biofilm, in which bacteria can generate a polymeric substance (EPS), The coupling between polymer generation and bacteria creates a variety of biofilm structures. Then, we derive the equations of first and second moment evolution for the bacteria and EPS particle population sizes. This approximation of the dynamics is much lighter to compute than the whole IBM, hence more systematic exploration is easier particularly in case of large bacteria populations. We show that the second moment approximation predicts accurately the quantities of bacteria and polymer. Moreover, it gives relevant information about their spatial distribution.
