This paper discusses the problem of customer churn prediction, and proposes the customer churn prediction model based on double attribute selection of information gain (IG) and neural network (NN) by analyzing the characteristics of customer churn data. That is, firstly, undertake the main attribute selection for customer churn data by using IG, and then analyze every main attribute by using NN, which output results are analyzed by 80–20 rule to get the key attributes affecting customer churn; secondly, construct the prediction model based on IG_NN by taking the key attributes as input and customer churn probability as output. The model predicts lost customers next month by carrying on data acquisition about customer behavior and payment information of a telecom operator during first three months. Provably, there is improvement of various degrees of accuracy, coverage rate and hit rate than other methods for customer churn prediction. This model has a good prediction performance for dealing with a large quantity of non-equilibrium data set.

In this paper, we propose a new location aided MANET routing protocol based on GSR, aiming at reducing inaccuracy of link state routing caused by topology changing in high motion conditions. We deploy a link weight assignment method according to the relative position and speed of each pair of nodes, together with a routing protocol named LAGSR, with the purpose of ameliorating routing accuracy, avoiding much more additional overhead. Unlike ordinary geographic routing protocol, LAGSR is a proactive link state routing protocol. Our experiments proved that LAGSR has superior performance on accuracy than GSR in MANET composed of high-speed mobile nodes.

This paper is for some bad performance issues of front suspension of the electric car which is being developed by company. Using Design of Experiments of ADMAS/INSIGHT, sensitivity analysis of the McPherson structure parameters is conducted. And based on the results of sensitivity, an improvement measure is put forward. Through comparing, the improved front suspension structure is able to meet the design requirements better.

Lifting algorithm doesn't depend on the Fourier transform, reduces the computational complexity, and it's very suitable for hardware implementation. The hardware realization of lifting wavelet transform is introduced in the paper. It optimized the algorithm, and saved the Hardware resources more than 20% at the situation of speed priority and area priority, and also saved time.

The overall design of computer control system is put forward based on Electro-hydraulic servo control system, the mathematical model of symmetric asymmetric cylinder valve control is established, dead-beat control for electro-hydraulic position servo control system is designed, precise timing of real-time control in Windows XP is effectively handled for the virtual driver, the experiment result show that the method, which is proposed in this paper, is effective.

The forest growing condition is an important index of vegetation monitoring. Mastering this information timely can help us to man-age the forest resource, and predict and control the forest pest effectively. The development and application of remote sensing technique provides a new approach for the growing condition monitoring. This paper using the vegetation information which is obtained from the remote sensing, described the monitoring method and index. Furthermore, we proposed a monitoring model based on NDVI, and the design, operation principle of ANN — CA monitoring and prediction model. At the last of the paper, some existing problems of the growing condition remote monitoring were discussed.

Weather Doppler radar can provide high spatial and temporal resolution observations, but most observations are discarded during data assimilation. Only the radar data observed at assimilation time are used in operational prediction. In this paper, the radial velocity observation that not only at the assimilation time but also at some earlier and later time are all assimilated with Ensemble Square Root Kalman Filter (EnSRF) based on WRF model. Result shows that the new scheme produces better analysis than the traditional scheme which only uses radar observations at the assimilation time. The improvement is especially clear in the first several assimilation cycles and then decreases with following assimilation cycles generally.

This paper had research on a motor car, established the whole car model on ADAMS, and had research on the impacts of suspension parameters on vehicle performance by attributing suspension points coordinate as design parameters, in other words, sensitivity analyses. According to the situation that the vehicle had a good handling performance but bad riding stability, this paper elected proper hard-point parameters to coordinate, and perfected the vehicle a good handling performance and riding stability.

The traditional method of mode decision of low complexity is to compare the SAD cost of all the modes and choose the best mode with the smallest one. A new method for mode decision that is based on the result of quantization result is proposed for the DSP project design. This method is very useful in hardware designing project. In the analysis of the test result, the bitrate will reduce about 5%–25% with the same QP.
