. This paper investigated about the research performance of Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering is the one of the prominent technical institution in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The objectives of the study are to analyze the various scientific research parameters of Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering to plan for the future course of actions. This study analyzes and visualizes scholarly publications of Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering using SCOPUS data from the period 2003. There are various qualitative and quantitative methods to measure research performance. This study adopted a number of Publications based on author, institution, country, and year, type of documents, subject area and number of citations. Relative Growth rate, Doubling Time, Coauthor Activity Index and analyzed by VOS Viewer and R Tool. Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering leads in research productivity compared to other engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu during recent year. It also collaborated with Anna University, Chennai. United States is the predominant collaborative country for their research work. Moreover Department of Science and Technology has predominantly sponsored for the research activities of this institution. This analysis results indicate that publishing in top-ranked journals would improve the chance of getting more citations. The study considered only publications that are indexed in SCOPUS. It covered a limited set of sources as per the SCOPUS editorial policy. Most of the covered sources are journals and conference proceedings. Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar College of Engineering is a technology based institution, and the majority of its academic departments fall in Engineering and Technology domains.

Salaried Vs. Self-Employed: A Study On The Factors Influencing Investment Patterns 工薪族与自雇族:影响投资模式的因素研究

. The Individuals make investments to achieve their financial objectives. The availability of several traditional and new investment avenues in the current context provides a wide range of options at all risk levels. Traditionally it has been considered that the investment preferences, objectives and factors influencing investment vary between the salaried and the self-employed. This study was undertaken to understand if there are differences between the two categories of respondents. The study was conducted in Coimbatore District, India with 410 respondents. The study found that fixed deposits were the preferred investment option whereas high-risk avenues such as crypto and derivatives were the least preferred. The study also found that the two respondent groups differ significantly in their investments.

Design of 2-DOF PID Compensator for Magnetic Levitation System 磁悬浮系统二自由度PID补偿器的设计

. In recent years there are many advancements in the field of electromagnetics one among them is the development of Magnetic Levitation (Maglev) system. It has found various uses in fields such as high speed magnetic levitation trains, frictionless bearings, wind tunnel model levitation, vibration isolation of sensitive machinery, molten metal levitation in induction furnaces., lifts, conveyors etc. When this technology is applied to practical systems it will be affected by external disturbance and set point changes at the same time. So a multi-lens driver is required. Furthermore, the open-circuit maglev system is a highly non-linear and unstable system. Developing a proper control for such a system is really a demanding task.In this paper a 2-DOF PID compensator for the Maglev system is designed. Simulation is done using MATLAB and the results are compared with 1-DOF method. The additional feed forward components present improves the disturbance rejection capability and makes the system more stable when compared to 1-DOF controller. It is proved that 2-DOF controller provides both tracking and regulatory performance in an optimal manner. .
