Stephen J. Ceci is the Helen L. Carr Professor of Psychology at Cornell University where he studies memory development, intelligence, and various professional issues such as free speech, viewpoint diversity, and women in science. He is the author of approximately 500 publications and is the recipient of numerous lifetime achievement awards from the Association for Psychological Science, the American Psychological Association, and the Society for Research on Child Development. He has served as president of the Society for Experimental Psychology & Cognitive Science and the Society for General Psychology, and in 2016, he was elected as a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.

Katinka Evers conducted her doctoral studies in philosophy at Balliol College, University of Oxford, at the Research School of Social Sciences, Australian National University Canberra, and at Lund University, Sweden, where she received her doctoral degree in 1991. She has been a research fellow at Balliol College, University of Oxford (1994), at the Department of Philosophy and Human Rights Centre, University of Essex (1996-1997), invited professor at the University of Tasmania Hobart (1999), at École Normale Suprieure Paris (2002), and at Collège de France Paris (2006-2007). From 1997 to 2002 she was the executive director for the Standing Committee on Responsibility and Ethics in Science of the International Council for Science. Today she leads the neuroethics research team at the Centre for Research Ethis and Bioethics at Uppsala University, where her main interests are neuroethics and the neural basis of consciousness. She has recently been appointed honorary professor at Universidad Central de Chile. Parasitology publishes definitive papers on all aspects of pure and applied parasitology including biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, genetics, ecology and physiology and also the application of new techniques, long term epidemiology studies, advances in the understanding of life-cycles, chemotherapy and major systematic revisions. Papers should normally be full length with an explanatory introduction and detailed discussion of the findings reported. Shorter reports of particularly important findings will also be considered.
