Effect of different soil usage on microbial properties in soils of Central Serbia 不同土壤利用方式对塞尔维亚中部土壤微生物特性的影响

Aim of the study was to examine the effects of soil use on soil microbial properties at five locations in Central Serbia. The study included 42 samples of soil under certified organic system, 8 samples under conventional system, and 30 samples of abandoned soils. The number of examined microbial groups was assessed using the indirect dilution method followed by plating of soil suspension on different selective media, while dehydrogenase activity was measured spectrophotometrically. The number and activity of microorganisms at the tested plots primarily depended on the soil pH. The acidic soil reaction caused more rapid fungal growth and lower presence of actinomycetes and Azotobacter sp. There were no significant alterations in the number of microorganisms, ammonifiers and fungi under the specific soil use system. Significantly higher dehydrogenase activity was recorded in the abandoned soils and soils under organic systems compared to the conventional farming.

Whole farm revenue insurance as a new model of risk management in agriculture 全农场收益保险作为一种新型的农业风险管理模式

Since agricultural production takes place under the open sky and it is largely unprotected, the risk of occurrence of some harmful event (hail, flood, drought, cold, storm, fire, etc.) increases. In addition to natural and climatic factors, financial, market and institutional factors have a strong effect on agricultural production. The crop and fruit insurance is certainly the most effective risk management instrument in crop production in the open air. The aim of the paper is to present an entirely new insurance model that began to apply in 2015 in the United States of America. By its application, each farm ensures its expected total revenue that can be endangered by the effects of both natural and climate, as well as market risks, which are manifested through fluctuations in market prices. This way, all crops on the farm are insured from all kinds of risks under just one insurance policy. Analyzed farm has experienced revenue loss due to drought, therefore it has indemnity right in the amount of € 2,500. Premium cost borne by farmer amounts to € 330.

Diaporthe pseudolongicolla: The new pathogen on soybean seed in Serbia 塞尔维亚大豆种子上的一种新病原菌

Seed decay is one of the most important diseases of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) that has a negative impact on the market grade of soybeans. The disease is mainly caused by Diaporthe longicolla, along with other Diaporthe species. Screening of soybean seeds health status in Vojvodina Province, Serbia, showed cultural and morphological variability among isolates identified as D. longicolla. With the use of DNA sequences of internal transcribed spacer (ITS1-5.8S-ITS2) region and partial translation elongation factor 1-alpha (EF1-α), the new species was determined. BLAST analysis showed 100% identity with D. pseudolongicolla (syn. D. novem) that was described in this study and its taxonomic revision is discussed. Pathogenicity trial showed that both species, D. longicolla and D. pseudolongicolla, are highly pathogenic on soybean stem and seed, causing 100% of stem wilting and more than 82% of seed decay.

Urban garden soil pollution caused by fertilizers and copper-based fungicides application 肥料和铜基杀菌剂的施用造成城市园林土壤污染

Urban gardening is an activity that has been rapidly increasing. The aim of this study was to point out the common mistakes in cultivation practices made by producers on small city areas. Total of 96 individual plots under vegetable crops were sampled (56 from garden plots of the city of Novi Sad, and 40 from field plots in the suburbs). There was no significant difference in the content of organic matter between these two groups of tested soils. The contents of readily available P2O5 and K2O were significantly higher in garden soil than in the field plots for production of vegetables. According to the content of pseudototal copper, 39% of samples belonged to the category of critical concentration and/or above MAC in the urban soil. Obtained results prove the pollution of small area gardens due to high anthropogenic effect of excessive use of mineral fertilizers and copper-based fungicides.

The influence of variety and fertilization on the content of nitrates in parsley (Petroselinum ssp.) 品种和施肥对欧芹中硝酸盐含量的影响

This paper presents the results of research on the impact of different varieties and fertilizers on the nitrate content in the leaf and root of parsley. In two-year research, three varieties of parsley were used and three variants of fertilization were applied (mineral fertilizers, organic and organo-mineral fertilizer) as well as a control variant. Nitrate content differed in the leaf and root. Depending on the investigated factors, their content in the leaf ranged from 55.60 to 426.09 mg/kg and in the root it ranged from 98.46 to 688.97 mg/kg. The nitrate content in parsley leaf and root was significantly influenced by the variety and type of fertilizer. The variety 'Domestic sawmills' accumulated the minimum nitrate content in the leaf and root of parsley. Mineral fertilization contributed to the accumulation of the highest content of harmful nitrates in the leaf and root of parsley.
