Software reliability prediction models is very helpful for developers and testers to know the phase in which corrective action need to be performed in order to achieve target reliability estimate. In this paper, an SVM-based model for software reliability forecasting is proposed. Support vector machine (SVM) is a new method based on statistical learning theory. It has been successfully used to solve nonlinear regression and time series problems. However, SVM has rarely been applied to software reliability prediction. In addition, the parameters of SVM are determined by Genetic Algorithm (GA). It is also demonstrated that only recent failure data is enough for model training. This feature that the model does not use all available failure data enables software developers and testers to obtain general ideas about software reliability in the early phase of testing process. Two types of model input data selection in the literature are employed to illustrate the performances of various prediction models. Empirical results show that the proposed model is more precise in its reliability prediction and is less dependent on the size of failure data comparing with the other forecasting models.

Robot drivers are used in motor testing and research institutions. They can be used in determining velocity and they can keep velocity fixed in a specific cycle. This command is done by man or motor cycle software programs present research is focused on control system of throttle pedal, which is known as cruise control system. In present system the Operator gives the command of velocity to the first software program and the first software sends it to the second software via network communication. For example the first program can be in control room and the second one in a computer in the automobile, the second computer is connected to micro controller by parallel and series ports. Micro controller is connected to DC motor which is connected to axle Link that pushes pedal directly. Our purpose is displacement of this axle link by Dc motor in order to control throttle pedal. The second program receives velocity quantity and uses fuzzy controller to determine displacement of the link which is connected to pedal to gain determined velocity. present control system will be installed in the second program. Then second program sends displacement value to microcontroller. Micro controller determines and sends required voltage for desirable displacement of link to motor.

According to problems caused by limited bandwidth of traditional wireless sensory gateway, such as inferior network performance and low efficiency of communication, this paper comes up with a solution — a wireless sensory gateway based on ZigBee/TD, closely combining ZigBee net with TD-SCDMA net. In the plan of design, the network node transport data to gateway by ZigBee short-range communication technique after collecting them and the gateway send them to control center by TD network from long distance, realizing the highly efficient long-range transport of data. To sum it up, this design satisfies the efficiency and transparency needed for inter-networks data exchange and it can be extended easily.

The application of advanced virtual reality technology and product exchange technology is the main process of the virtual prototype for supporting virtual assembly of product life cycle. Taking a typically complex mechanical product – pumps as an example, this paper analyzed the assembly model of mechanical products, built the virtual assembly scene, and applied the DFA and virtual reality technology to implement the virtual assembly, virtual operation and real-time interaction through VRML and Script nodes in the virtual environment. Meanwhile, by applying the method of Bounding Boxes, the collision detection analysis during the process of assembly is completed. It presented a new design and implementation method for developing complex machinery.

From the current economic climate results in fluctuations of currency exchange rates in all countries. Since the most countries use U.S. Dollar as the reference exchange rate. The exchange rate will change from time to time so variety of factors which affect the exchange rate forecasting in the exchange rates in advance are critical to evaluate for the impact of the economic system of each country. The experimental forecast exchange rates for currency's U.S. Dollar with Great Britain Pounds by using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Meiosis Genetic Algorithms (MGA) with results which are accurate in prediction than other methods about 25–40% which it depend on the accuracy of the information in the past.

Usually to finish a complicated task often requires different fields of professionals to contribute his knowledge because no one has the complete knowledge of the task. And if the knowledge is sharing by web pages in internet, users need to visit these pages one by one to grab piece of knowledge we needed on the pages and then integrate it manually. This approach takes lots of effort in searching, retrieving and integrating knowledge. To overcome this issue, we propose an approach to do this task. We first represent knowledge by some ontologies in internet and each of them represents a subdomain knowledge respectively, and then we integrate it through a web service platform. Sharing ontology in internet based on web service provides a simple and flexible manner for knowledge sharing, retrieval and integration. To demonstrate the feasibility of our approach, we use diabetes care as an example to use this system because it needs different professionals to make up a care plan. The result of our research shows, our system can retrieve and integrate diabetes care suggestion from related ontology in internet according to patient's condition. Thus It can reduce the consumption of medical resources while provide consistent care quality at the same time.

Recently, Flash memory is adopted by many devices as it has very useful features. However, it has a critical drawback of “erase-before-write” feature. This problem incurs the unexpected performance degradation. To solve the upper serious disadvantage of flash memory, we require the software layer known as FTL (Flash Translation Layer) and the RAM (Random Access Memory). In this paper, we propose an economic mapping technique that the size of the mapping table is shrunk by a specific calculation. Grouped Block reduces the cost of flash memory and improves the performance by using the optimized mapping table, delaying the merge operation and reducing the number of erase operation. The results of experiments show that the size of the group mapping is more economical than that of block mapping and it demonstrates more improved performance compared to FAST.

This paper presents a novel scheme for the detection and extraction of sweat pores (categorized as one of the fingerprint level 3 micro features). The proposed scheme seamlessly fuses two distinct methods into a novel model capable of obtaining good results from fingerprint images captured through optical live-scan devices with resolutions ranging from basic 500 dpi (despite the common belief that images obtained at this resolution are not of high enough quality) to 2000ppi. The performance of the presented model is then evaluated over multiple cores, spanning from single core to quad cores. The proposed scheme is successfully tested on publicly available fingerprint datasets, which were scanned with Cross Match Verifier 300 scanner at 500 dpi (pores are quite visible in these samples), as well as on 144 images at 2000ppi resolution. The experimental results clearly show a significant performance gain of 50.91% (32-bit platform) and 79.11% (64-bit platform) for parallelized approach over sequential approach. The performance gain is surely to increase further with few more code optimizations and with increase in the dataset size.

In this paper, we derive Z input/output data refinement rules, including forwards and backwards rules, for the case in which the retrieve schemas are total functions when viewed as relations from the concrete to abstract variables. In practice, the relation between the abstract and concrete variables is often functional. Therefore, the use of the functional input/output refinement rules will reduce the cost and duration of the software development because the proof of the consistency of the abstract and concrete specifications is more easily demonstrated.
