Considering the changed size and aspect ratio of the display devices, it is required to resize the presentation of images of those devices. As displays become less expensive and are consolidated into an ever-increasing number of gadgets, there is an expanded spotlight on the image resizing systems to fill a picture to subjective size of the screen. Removing vigorous visual saliency guides and picture editing are central issues in PC vision, designs, and many more. It isn't easy to distinguish and trim the whole remarkable object from pictures with a complex foundation. In this paper, the different techniques for image resizing and preserving important objects are discussed. This paper also presents novel methods for image resizing based on solving the current problem with it.

Microgrids are considered a promising alternative for handling significant power-disrupting incidents due to their islanding capabilities and the potential to support renewable energy penetration. A two-stage analysis is conducted in this review paper to explain the impact of microgrids in increasing the resilience of the electrical network. In the initial stage, resilience-based modeling methods are presented based on microgrid resilience strategies utilized during various phases of severe disasters. In the next stage, the use of microgrids as a resilience resource is analyzed by building self-sustaining microgrids. The formation of dynamic and interconnected microgrids and the coordination of various energy networks are also investigated. In addition, the importance of the resilience of communication networks to improve microgrid resilience is analyzed. Finally, the research gaps in the existing literature are presented, along with the prospects to enhance the extant resilience-based operating approaches to increase microgrid resilience.

Diabetes is an autoimmune disorder which can affect people of any age group or gender. Some people inherit it genetically and others develop it at some point in their lives. In any case it can bring hardship and misery to the patient, which can be both mental and physical in nature. One good way of combating diabetes could be to make its diagnosis quicker, cheaper, and affordable. By making full use of modern day computing capabilities that thing is very much possible. To make diagnosis of diabetes we employ a variety of Machine Learning algorithms like Decision Trees (DT), Naive Bayes (NB), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression (LR). The idea behind making use of many algorithms is for the performance evaluation of the commonly applicable Machine Learning algorithms, and to gauge which algorithm could best fit our need. An accuracy of 78.5% was achieved for SVM with the polynomial kernel and 77.9% with the Linear Kernel. Also, Gaussian Naive Bayes achieved a classification accuracy of 79.87%.

Often skin disease classification models suffer from confusion due to similar lesion regions with background skin. It has been observed that disease lesions are sometimes non-distinguishable due to similar structure and texture with skin, which leads to misclassification. Segmentation of lesions may help to improve the accuracy of prediction by extracting the region of interest. However, exclusive clustering-based segmentation methods limited handling uncertainty in the lesion regions. Fuzzy clustering methods are built to handle such uncertain homogeneous regions. In this work, we employ Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) segmentation to extract lesion from the diseased skin images. Segmented images are then fed into Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN) for skin disease classification. The comparative analysis over the traditional segmentation techniques demonstrates that the FCM segmentation enhances the performance of DCNN in classifying skin diseases with improved accuracy.

LPG gas cylinder is a necessary thing in everyday life of human being as it is used for everyday cooking purpose. So, for this availability of LPG gas at every moment is very much compulsory. Now it is a huge problem that every one of us has faced, that is at any moment the LPG gas comes to an end but people get notified when the LPG gas is already exhausted. Also, in this time of corona wave, a huge number of corona patients need oxygen gas cylinder and, in this case, also we have to be alert about completion of the gas. So, for these reasons, we have taken an initiative so that people can get notified before the completion of the gas and can book gas cylinders as early as possible. So, in our proposed system there will be a weighing machine on which the LPG gas cylinder will be kept and after a certain weight the machine will send a message through the GSM module to the mobile number that will be registered in the GSM module of the machine and people can get aware of the completion of the gas and can book gas cylinder at that moment. In this way, the problem can be solved.

This article divulges the coalesced control pattern of voltage and frequency for a three-area multi-source unequal interconnected power system under conventional scenario. Area-1 comprises Thermal-Wind-Combined Cycle Gas Turbine plants, Area-2 comprises Thermal-Geothermal-EV fleets, and Area-3 comprises Thermal-Hydro plants-STPP. Pertinent GRC and GDB for thermal and hydro plants and GRC for CCGT plants are being considered. The Fractional-order PI controller cascaded to Tilt-Integral-Derivative Controller with Filter (CFOPI-TIDN) is utilized as an ancillary controller of ALFC systems and as core controller of AVR systems to curb the frequency and voltage deviations. The most recent metaheuristic algorithm known as Harris Hawks Optimization is used to obtain optimum gains and other controller parameters of FOPI, TIDN, and CFOPI-TIDN controllers for the seamless operation of power systems. The proposed CFOPI-TIDN controller is found transcendent when comparing system responses concerning time-domain indices. Repercussions of the CCGT plants on the unified system are analyzed. The sensitivity study is assessed with changing the magnitude and position of system nonlinearities. Eventually, the system is investigated for real-time analysis with OPAL-RT OP4510 hardware setup.

The Device to Device (D2D) communication is adopted as one of the promising technologies in the 5G networks to tackle the higher demanding data rate. The D2D communication reuses the cellular user’s (CUs) spectrum to communicate with proximity users to provide spectral efficiency. However, the spectral efficiency of the cell may decrease when the resources (frequency allocation and power allocation) of the channels cannot be optimally allocated. In this study, we have proposed secrecy enabled resource allocation scheme for 5G network. The proposed scheme is rooted on a social group optimization (SGO) algorithm to enhance the secrecy rate of the considered networks. For this, we have considered a system where CUs and D2D users are located in a coverage area of eNodeB (eNB) where an eavesdropper (ED) is present to wiretap both the cellular users and D2D users’ channels. The objective of the proposed scheme is how to allocate the optimal resource allocation to the Cellular users and D2D users with the intention of enhancing the secrecy rate. To determine the solution, we have formulated an optimization problem with the constraint of minimum QoS guaranteed further we have proposed an SGO based solution. Additionally, we have conducted a simulation to examine the performance of our proposed scheme. The simulation results portray that our proposed scheme outperforms other related schemes cited in the literature.

The World Wide Web (WWW) has turned into an immense wellspring of crude information produced by both the customers and the clients. Utilizing online media, web - based business sites, and film surveys, for example, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon, Flip kart and so forth, clients share their perspectives and emotions in an advantageous way. In WWW, where many individuals express their perspectives in their day by day connection, by the same token in the web-based media or in e-commerce which can be their opinions , what’s more, sentiments about a specific thing. Sentiment analysis is characterized as the way toward mining information, reviewing or anticipating the feelings or emotions behind the sentence via natural language processing. This paper includes two approaches, the first one is a lexicon-based approach, and the second one is machine learning technique logistic regression to extract the sentiments from text.

Over the past several years, the conventional methods of fueling the two-wheelers led to the challenging issues for the environment. To minimize such issues, electric (e-) scooters are being explored nowadays by the industries and research organizations. Moreover, e-scooters, as a green technology, can also be a cost-effective solution in case of high fuel prices. Therefore, in this work, the design and modeling of an electric scooter is presented. Primarily, design features and specifications for the major components of an e-scooter are evaluated. Based on the design specifications, a CAD of the e-scooter is proposed in SolidWorks software with and without bodyworks. Thereafter, material specifications and boundary conditions are discussed for chassis under operating load and sudden impact load scenarios. The finite element analysis results are shown to estimate the maximum Von-Mises stress, maximum displacement, and minimum factor of safety (FOS). The dynamic analysis is carried out by estimating the variation of motor torque and power with respect to its angular speed. Furthermore, the variation of aerodynamic force versus e-scooter velocity and rolling resistance versus total carrying weight is investigated. The static and dynamic analysis presents the promising strength, safety, and cost-effectiveness features of the proposed design.

The present work reports optimal control approach to a two control-area hybrid microgrid, comprising of conventional-thermal, solar-thermal, solar photo-voltaic power plants and integrating electric vehicles (EVs). The incorporation of EVs in charging as well as discharging modes and thermal non-linearities viz. rate-constraint and dead-band makes the designed microgrid more pragmatic. Both areas are equipped with classical secondary controllers viz. I, PI, PD and PID. This is to control the generation of associated source units and hence preserve the generation-demand balance. This aids in retaining frequency near to its nominal value. Concurrent optimization of the controller parameters are done with an optimization technique. Analyzing the system responses, PID controller is found to be outperforming other above-mentioned controllers concerning overshoots, undershoots, settling time and magnitude of oscillations.
