Design and Simulation of single-stage single-switch electronic ballast with SEPIC topology for fluorescent lamps 荧光灯用SEPIC拓扑单级单开关电子镇流器设计与仿真

Design and Simulation of single stage Single Switch electronic ballast by integrating a SEPIC power factor corrector for fluorescent lamp is presented in this paper. The simulation is done for 20W fluorescent lamp in MATLAB/Simulink environment The input is 220ν,1-Φ AC supply at 50Hz. The circuit presents an input LC configuration, to shape the input line current and also to reduce the unwanted disturbances injected from the high frequency electronic ballast into the mains. The circuit also comprises of SEPIC which acts as an inherent PFC. Single stage topology has been taken into consideration which reduces the requirement of extra power switches. By integrating the power switches used in SEPIC and current-fed resonant inverter, new single stage electronic ballast is implemented which is used to both correct the input power factor and drive the fluorescent lamp. Simulation results are provided to justify all the theoretical analysis on a 20-W CFL.

Distributed generation for line loss reduction in radial distribution system 径向配电系统中用于降低线损的分布式发电

This paper presents a method to select the load buses for the placement of distributed generation (DG) based on loss reduction and voltage improvement sensitivity of the system. The DG placement and its precise size to reduce the line loss has been considered and evaluated. To achieve this objective, the following parameters such as line losses, line capacity and voltage profile should be evaluated in all states and the best solution is selected. The proposed methods are tested by a series of simulations on an IEEE 15-bus test system.

Classification of digital signals in cognitive radio based on second-order statistical approach 基于二阶统计方法的认知无线电数字信号分类

An approach for multiclass digital signal classification based on second-order statistical features and multiclass Support Vector Machine (SVM) classifier is proposed. The proposed system is designed to recognize three different modulation schemes such as DPSK, PSK and MSK. The 2nd order cumulants of the real and imaginary parts of the complex envelope are extracted and these statistical features are given to multiclass SVM classifier for classification. The modulated signals are passed through the Rayleigh channel and Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel before feature extraction. The evaluation of the system is carried on using 400 generated signals. The overall classification rate of the proposed system for various SNR levels is over 83%.

Computerized detection & classification of ECG signals 心电信号的计算机检测与分类

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a recorded representation of electrical activity of heart with respect to time. Being a very important diagnostic tool for determining various heart functions, computer based ECG interpretation is a computing system that records and automatically detects the variations in important parameters of a given ECG recording. These parameters are very critical for doctors while examining the condition of the heart of a patient. Identification of the specific area of the heart under problem and the extent of damage done are the basic areas which have been highlighted for proper diagnosis to save patient's life. This paper, proposes an approach to determine the values of the amplitude of P, QRS & T together with time durations (PR, RR, QRS, and QT). From these calculations, the heart condition whether it is normal or not, is determined along with amount of variation so that the cardiologist can recommend the amount of dosing required for the medicine for the ailment of the patient. It also classifies the ECG into seven major cardiac problems. In this thesis, we have introduced a curve mapping technique based on slope method to detect & classify the ECG signals into seven major cardiac problems. The accuracy rate arrived in the slope method ranges from 92% to 100%, for seven cardiac conditions with an overall average 96.57 %.

Effective micro grid control in a smart grid environment using IP based multiagent technology 基于IP的多智能体技术在智能电网环境下的有效微电网控制

The implementation of a control network based on multi-agent systems that is capable of making intelligent decisions on behalf of the user has become an area of intense paper. Many works have proposed multi-agent system that deals with buying and selling of energy, algorithms for auction systems however, sharing energy resources among multiple distinct sets of prioritized loads is ignored. It becomes appealing when an excess DER capacity after supplying critical loads is allocated to support non-critical loads that belong to multiple users. It is important to study the interaction and time delay when an agent issues a control signal to control a physical device in a micro grid and when the command is executed. These issues are identified as knowledge gaps that are of focus in this paper. Thus it is to develop an intelligent system with high accuracy and resilience. In this paper it is going to adopt multi agent based maximum demand control in an Matlab environment.

Nano scaled low power leakage st-based SRAM 基于纳米级低功率泄漏st的SRAM

The main purpose of this paper work is to reduce leakage power and to produce stable output at lower supply voltages for SRAM circuits in 180*10-9m. Generally the power dissipation in conventional SRAM circuits will be high. In order to overcome that problem, a new SRAM circuit based on Schmitt trigger (ST) is introduced which consumes very less power than conventional SRAMs. Here SOI-DTMOS (Silicon on insulator-dynamic threshold MOS) are utilized in order to have low supply voltage and stability during operations.

This paper presents a survey of papers and reports which address various aspects of Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) with Matrix converters (MCs). The time period considered is 1992-2011. Four very important and related areas of UPFC based upon MCs are identified and papers published in the general area of UPFCs are classified into these. These areas are:-(i) UPFC model (ii) Control and simulation of UPFC (iii) Matrix converter (iv) Control of Matrix converter based UPFC.

Maximum power extraction in grid connected DFIG using multilevel inverter 多电平逆变器并网DFIG的最大功率提取

Wind energy is the most promising renewable among all other renewable and hence successful integration of wind to the grid will certainly a better option. Double fed induction generator (DFIG) technology allows extracting maximum energy from the wind, while operating in narrow speed ranges. It has the ability for power electronic converters to generate and absorb reactive power. A three-level back-to-back AC-DC-AC converter used in the system. This analysis is based on reduction of the maximum common mode voltage levels of the rotor side converter which plays the key role in shaft voltage generation of the DFIG. The advantages of proposed method are: voltage balancing of DC link capacitors and controlling of the active and reactive power delivered by the wind generator. The proposed DFIG with multilevel inverter aims at integrating winds farms even in weaker grid with improved Maximum power injection, Minimum harmonic issues with reduced impact on WTG. The proposed method, will improve the power quality which is delivered to the grid in terms of harmonic, inject the maximum power to the grid and improve the voltage profile.

Genetic Algorithm for electromyography (EMG) and human locomotion 肌电图(EMG)和人体运动的遗传算法

The biomechanical analysis assists to provide evidences in the performance of the system used for stroke rehabilitation of lower and upper limb of human body. This could be done by providing a better understanding of human lower extremities movement through implementation of electromyography (EMG). As human body is a complex biomechanical machine, conducting analysis using only EMG is not sufficient in representing muscle coordination pattern for functional task (i.e. walking). For that, Genetic Algorithm (GA) is implemented in the selection process of best-fit mathematical model and its parameters used in conversion of EMG signal into estimated torque. Several experiments are conducted to validate the proposed method. The field of management and rehabilitation of motor disability is identified as one important application area. Based on relevant literature, the present paper asserts that scientific analysis of human movement patterns can materially affect patient treatment. It provides evidence that patient management and rehabilitation processes in central neurological disorders can be improved through EMG techniques. The use of electromyography for clinical planning in the treatment process of patients helps providing future directions in research, development and applications of scientific analysis of human movement.
